[Q] Help, TWRP and CWM somehow installed at the same time. can't boot into phone OS - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

So, I attempted to install Cyanogenmod via the installer, it didn't work. So manually, I went and looked up a tutorial and it said to install TWRP because cyanogen wasn't working for me. I installed that and I booted into recovery. It opened CWM, weird. So I try to start the phone, it boots into TWRP. eventually I attempt to install Cyanogen to see where it gets me, I install it and when I boot it does nothing. you see samsung logo then blackness. I am assuming because TWRP didn't get removed from it. I can still access recovery and download mode. What to do next Also flashing with odin did not fix it.

Flash a different ROM in recovery or the stock tar with Odin. Those are your only options. I also highly recommend Philz Recovery.

Do you think that it's TWRP stopping it from starting?

[Q] Odin hanging..how long is too long?

Hey guys,
I just got my phone back from repair (broken power button) and I want to get back onto CM10. I went about my usual flashing business, flashing the CWM 5.0.27 ODIN tar, then I usually flash a CM ROM to install root and change my target from SGH-T989D to SGH-T989. That enables me to install GooManager and flash TWRP. Unfortunately, my phone was stuck at the CM splash screen for a good 10 minutes, after having installed sk8erwitskill's CWM Touch (latest version, 1/11/2013) so I tried a reflash and it didn't work. I then reflashed CWM 5.0.27 and flash from there, and it still got stuck at the splash screen. I then went back into Download Mode, launched ODIN, and proceeded to flash the stock Telus tar to begin from scratch.. This is where my issues lies. Usually the Tar will take a little while, but slowly the progress bar moves along. This time though, it isn't moving:

I know that you aren't supposed to pull the battery or unplug the phone during Odin flashes, but I don't think it's even doing anything anymore..
What are my options?
TIA!
Nevermind, I did the riskiest possible thing and I pulled the plug, and tried on another computer. Way too stressful!!
Mods, please delete, thanks!

No recovery

I use odin mobile to flash update / zip files. I recently tried to enter recovery to flash redpill kernel but phone failed to go into recovery. It ends up in a bootloop. I can use 3 button combo to get into download mode which I then flash cf-root file which brings my phone out of the bootloop.. I have downloaded recovery manager pro which says it has downloaded cwm recovery and flashed it but then it still tells me "no recovery installed"... just cant seem to sort it and im paranoid about boiting into recovery now as I always seem to get stuck in this bootloop. Below is my current rom etc setup.

read what I put, not what you think I put.....
If you want stock recovery flash this
http://d-h.st/5ai
If you need CWM, flash this
http://www.mediafire.com/?5hhuae70pr2zxuw
you have to flash for PDA tab in odin with device in download mode
So this has to be done using ondin on pc not mobile odin...
read what I put, not what you think I put.....
You can use Mobile odin too, you have to select file for 'recovery' in mob odin
Sorted it now. Flashed it through odin from my pc.. now I can boot into cwm.. still when I load up recovery manager pro its still said cwm recovery not installed so I have just deleted the app..

Lost custom recovery but still have root

I am running stock 4.3 rooted. When I rooted I installed custom recovery. My phone has been choppy lately so in hopes that it would make my phone run smoother I tried to go into recovery (first time in ages) to wipe cache and dalvik. When I tried to go into recovery I got a "no commend' error and then regular stock Android recovery started. In the background was a dead android robot with a "!" symbol coming out of him.
I wiped cache with stock recovery and then selected the reboot option. The phone didn't reboot, I got "error!" message and that was it. I powered down, restarted and everything is back to the way it was. But what happened to my custom recovery? What should I do at this point to get it back?
Only thing I can think of is at some point I accidentally clicked on the OTA update notification. So my phone tried and failed to update because I'm rooted. Could that cause problems? What should I do?
Just Odin Philz Recovery

Find 7 Can't install Working Recovery

SOLVED
I had to flash the recovery from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/find-7/help/recovery-unbrick-t3199938 This recovery worked and my problem is fixed.
I am trying to return my Find 7 to the stock recovery so I can reinstall ColorOS. My problem is that no recovery that I try works upon flashing. I have tried both the stock coloros recovery and twrp, and both of them have issues that don't allow me to continue.
When I flash the TWRP recovery, I get stuck in bootloop. It doesn't attempt to enter TWRP, it just tries to boot as normal. I have wiped the system and all data trying to fix the problem, so there is no OS to boot into, leading me to be stuck on an infinite Oppo logo. (I have tried to enter twrp through power+volumedown and fastboot boot twrp.img, both give me the same result)
When I flash the ColorOs recovery I can boot into it but I get a very weird interface glitch. The recovery only is shown on the right side of the screen and flashes up and down so that I can't select any options. (I will include an image of this, as it is not explained very well)
I don't know what is wrong or what I can do at this point, I have been trying to fix this for 4+ hours. If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate the help.
(This is what is shown when booting into the coloros recovery)

TWRP stuck while installing ROM zip.

i try to flash a custom rom via TWRP but it stucks always on the same step. (see screenshot)
Longest time i waited was 1 hour but it was still on the same status.
I tried different TWRP versions and different custom roms but it always stops.
For me it is no more possible to flash roms via TWRP.

Thank you very much in advance.
Do you use the latest TWRP 3.2.1 from here?

yes, and tried older version, too
Yeah this totally sucks. Happened to me a bunch of times, I don't know what the cause is.
But you can fix it by flashing the latest MIUI official firmware using the MiFlash tool, making sure to wipe everything on internal storage (flashall + clean on MiFlash). Then reinstall TWRP, flash your ROM & Gapps... In other words, start completely fresh.
Maybe there's a way to fix it without wiping internal storage, but I haven't found it.
