Helly i find that's we can have Android 4.1 on we One X, but WIFI, Camera, and AUDIO don't work...
1. wipe all your apps, data and. Unlock the bootloader on your HTC One X
2. Install ClockWorkMod (CWM) recovery
3. Download and install HTC Sync software on your computer
4. Download the ROM from the official download page.
5. Copy the downloaded zip file (don’t extract it) to the SD card.
6. Also download the Flash_Boot.zip file from → here. This is required to flash the necessary kernel on the phone.
7. Extract the Flash_Boot.zip file to a convenient location on the computer.
8. Open the “jellybean_endeavoru_tgascoigne.zip” file (downloaded in step 5) on the computer and extract the boot.img file from inside it. Then, copy the boot.img file to the folder where you extracted the Flash_Boot.img file in step 8.
9. Switch off the phone. Boot into the bootloader mode first by holding the Volume Down button while powering on the phone. Then, select FASTBOOT from there using the volume buttons to navigate and power button to select to enter fastboot mode. Then connect your phone to the computer.
10. Go to the folder where you extracted the .zip file in step 8. Double-click the flash-boot-windows.bat file to flash the required kernel.
11. After the kernel is flashed, the window that showed up will automatically close. It might also say OKAY/finished and stay open, which is normal.
12. Now, press the power button on the phone to select BOOTLOADER, then navigate to the RECOVERY option and select it using the power button to boot into ClockworkMod recovery.
13. Perform a wipe:
1. Select wipe data/factory reset, then select Yes on the next screen to confirm data wipe. This will only delete your installed apps and settings, but will leave all other files and data on the SD card intact, so don’t worry.
2. Select mounts and storage, then select format system (you might have to select Yes on next screen to confirm). After format is complete, go back to the main recovery menu.
14. Then, select install zip from sdcard, then select choose zip from sdcard. Scroll to thejellybean_endeavoru_tgascoigne.zip file on the SD card and select it. Confirm installation by selecting Yes on the next screen.
15. After installation is complete, select go back then select reboot system now to reboot the phone and boot up into Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean.
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is now up and running on your HTC One X,
There are allready ROM's in the dev section for Jellybean, which are much easier to flash and will be updated. But thanks! maybe someone else will join development too
Yea we have that already in the dev section covered.

Hello everyone, I have never rooted nor flash a rom on the SGSII T989 before and I wanted to make sure that I do it right the first time. I am getting conflicting information online so I wanted to double check with the steps I have to make sure they are right.
I plan on flashing "[ROM] |12|17|11|BeastMOD II v4.2 |APM-CRT| Synergy 0.10|". So if people can go through this list and make sure I have the step right that would be awesome. Thank you in advance.

you are correct. however, the backing up apps is not really necessary since you aren't downloading/installing any apps in the first place. instead of making a titanium backup, make a CWR Nandroid backup.
(boot into CWR > backup and restore > backup).

Housekeeping
now's the time to make a few backups!
1. an application backup (for switching to other ROM's or factory resetting): launch titanium backup > batch > backup all apps and user data
2. a full image of your phone (for restoring if you break something): CWM > backup and restore > backup.
Now you can flash updates to your hearts content because you have a backup that you KNOW works to fall back on.
Troubleshooting:
if the market will not let you download applications, boot back into CWM (you'll be doing this a lot - get used to it) and select wipe cache.
if anything else goes wrong, don't hesitate to ask! this is a great community!
welcome aboard!
Dude you are AWESOME!!! Didn't expect anyone to help that much. Thank you!!!
Haha it's no problem. I've been in your shoes. let me know if anything goes wrong.

Nice thanks....was reading and you said that BeastMOD 4.2 was having issues....does that still apply. I was talking to another guy that said he has had no problems with it and it is amazing.
I was flashing THIS http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2231953
And i got THIS http://oi39.tinypic.com/t8wvpz.jpg
I was using these steps
How to Install a Custom ROM on Galaxy Grand:
The procedure of installing a custom ROM using ClockworkMod Recovery is almost the same for all Android phones. You just have to follow a few steps and it is done!
All custom ROMs come in zip and have md5 checksum signature that tells your device that it was downloaded successfully and does not miss anything. So download the ROM file in zip and copy it to you phone, preferably to the external SD card.
If you have downloaded an AOSP or CyanogenMod based custom ROM, you’ll also have to install the Google apps after flashing the ROM. Download the latest Google Apps zip package to install via CWM here. Copy this file to your phone too.
Now boot your phone into recovery mode. Here is the method: press and hold Volume Up + Home + Power buttons at the same time till the Samsung logo with device name blinks for 2 times. Then release the Power key while keeping other keys pressed till you see the recovery menu with “ClockwrokMod Recovery” written on the top. In Recovery mode, use the volume keys to scroll and the power key to select options.
Important: Go to “backup and restore” option and backup your current ROM to the external SD card.
When backup is complete, go back to main menu and “wipe data/factory reset”.
Then go to “advanced” and “wipe dalvik cache”.
Go back and select “mounts and storage” and “format system”.
Return to main menu and select “install zip from sdcard> choose zip from sdcard”, navigate to the ROM zip file and select it.
When the ROM is installed, also install the Google apps zip package, if applicable, using Step 8.
Finally, return to main menu and select “reboot system now”.

I fixed the problem actually. I restored my backup and redownloaded it as you said. And voila. Also Land scape does not work properly.
I found out that, there is some different procedure to be followed for those who dont have stock recovery..
Can some one give a detailed tutorial on how to revert back to stock and then upgrade.. Dying to feel lollipop on my phone
How to install OTA Updates on devices without stock recovery.

Use the following method to replace your custom recovery with stock recovery and prepare your phone for an official OTA Update (Like the Lollipop 5.0.2 update just launched for the HTC Desire 820)
1. Download the OTA Update but do not install.
Go to Options -> About phone -> Software updates
When prompted, click on 'install later'.
2. Open file explorer and go to Download folder (/storage/emulated/0/Download) and find zip file with update. (It should begin with a51_)
3. Connect your phone to a PC and copy the zip file to your desktop.
4. Using a program like WINRAR, open the file.
5. Open firmware.zip
4. Copy "recovery.img" to your phone's sdcard.
5. Download 'Flashify' from the Google Play store on your phone.
6. Run Flashify and select "Recovery image".
7. Select "Choose a file" and select the recovery.img you had copied to your sd card earlier.
8. Select "YUP!" and wait.
Note *Don't restart your device.*
9. Install update
Go to Options -> About phone -> Software updates and select "Install now".
10. Let your phone restart and upgrade to the new operating system. This will take quite some time if your phone is filled with apps.
11. Enjoy.
I hope this helps, message back here if you hit any roadblocks. If each step is followed properly, you should have stock recovery back and thus, be able to install OTA updates normally.
I have already downloaded the update and have copied it to other location...
Is it possible that I can update that from the recovery itself...
( BTW i am unable to boot inot recovery now... Whenever I click on recovery in the boot menu... It redirects to some HBOOT, power down.. etc etc menu,.. And not the recovery)

At step 9 the progress bar stops and displays red exclamation mark. Also recovery.img from ota that I flashed causes bootloop when entered into recovery from hboot.
what to do now? theres a bootloop issue.
Note: You need to backup your data because during the installation you will need to wipe your phone. You need to unlock the bootloader. Warranty will be voided.
I'm not responsible if your device becomes unbootable, installing this ROM is your own decision.
Here are the files you need: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1PhROf-zefATv7IH4nd5lTsEzTtHItCtJ?usp=sharing
Here is how to flash it:
1. Download all of the files provided in the link on your computer
2. Copy the ROM and Eureka into your Phone's SD card
3. Extract Odin and Samsung USB driver
4. Install the Samsung USB driver
5. Open Odin
6. Turn your device off
7. Press and hold both volume keys and then plug in your phone to your computer using the USB cable
8. Press the volume up key
9. In Odin select AP and locate where you downloaded TWRP, make sure the auto-restart is disabled in the options section then press start
10. Once the TWRP install completes press and hold the power key and vol down key, once the phone screen switches off release the vol down key and hold the volume up key immediately
11. Once your phone boots in TWRP swipe where it says allow modification
12. Select Wipe, format data, and then type yes
13. Go back, and select to wipe Dalvik, cache, system, and vendor
14. Go back to the main screen and choose install
15. Choose select storage and then choose your SD card
16. Locate where you copied the ROM zip file and flash it.
Bugs:
1. Black Screen after the Samsung logo disappeared (Can be fixed by flashing the eureka kernel)
2. Wired and wireless headphones don't work (not sure how to fix it)
3. There is no fingerprint and face recognition
4. Cast screen doesn't work
5. Some apps are crashing
6. Google Play System Update doesn't work
7. The volume control doesn't work as well
8. The camera causes the screen to freeze
This ROM is designed for SM-A307GT, but it also works on my SM-A307FN
