Hi, I have flashed UKB V and I like it very much. One issue though is when I record a video using the front facing camera, the resulting video is inverted vertically. Is there a fix to this?
Thanks
There are a few patches related to camera fixes posted in the dev thread. They were just recently reposted so they should all be in the last few pages, I am not sure if it will fix your problem but it couldn't hurt

Tried the fixes youentioned as well as the ffc fix but no go. The video is inverted on any camera app not just the stock one when using the front camera. Taking pictures is fine only the video is inverted

Alright you x using folk lol. I have a one s
You've got cm9 from tripraver etc. What camera does it use?
Just curious as we have cm9 with issues regarding the cam.
I'm asking is your cam the ics cam app?
It'd be good to know how he got it working alright without source...anyone have any ideas?

no idea as i haven't tried trip's CM9 yet. i'd guess it's not using the sense framework (unlike MIUI) hence no HTC camera, but the AOSP one.
why don't you ask here?

It's using the stock CM9 camera, Trip claims to have hacked camera drivers himself and built them from source - make of that what you will.
The one thing keeping me on a sense rom at present is the lack of a camera app that is anywhere near the HTC stock One.
Really want to make the switch to jellybean and was looking for a few suggestions. Ucam seemed good until I realised you can't stop it beeping and it doesn't use the stock gallery. I have purchased camera360 in the past as well as camera fx but none of the seem quite as easy or fast. By the way I'm fully aware sense cam can't work on aosp.

Currently running CM 10 preview with JB and also missing the camera app.
I tried a couple(mainly to get the hold for multi shot functionality) but they were a little poor.
Pudding Camera - worked ok but not as good.
Fast Burst Camera - very fast burst mode but really poor quality.
Camera Magic - not that good
I found camera mx to be the best. Make sure you update it though to get video recording.

Hello everybody,
I'm using 1cebox's excellent Evervolv 4.2 rom, and camera mx because the default camera doesnt work. Problem is, when recording video at the highest quality, it is very choppy, if i step it down a notch it is smooth. Is this a known problem, or are other camera apps better? Thank you

Hey Guys,
Hope that someone can help.
Currently I'm running Miui V5 but the camera is very poor. As i'm going on holiday soon and want to take some decent pictures.
Does anyone know of a good camera app or mod that i can use?
I have tried the following
Apps
Camera ZOOM FX - Took photos but did't add them to any album?
Snap Camera - Kept freezing
Mods
Camera JB from nexus galaxy s4 - FC'd
Camera Mod Cyber-shotâ„¢ For Xperia S - Flashed OK but didn't work
Any Idea?
The same problem.
Maybe somebody knows how to install original stock camera from SGS3 on MIUI v5 (3.6.28) - 4.2.2 (JDQ39E)
why dont you move back to stock rom if you need the camera ?!
Because MIUI the best one. I love this rom...

In my opinion the one that works best with the Xperia S is "ProCapture - camera + panorama"
Good Luck!:good:
I recommended to use:
1. Cymera - Camera & Photo Editor
2. Camera Zoom FX
