I have no idea why the Android market has suddenly gone dark and i cant see the main screen, when i click on my apps i can see them as normal and if i click on settings comes up as normal and if i click the search button and type in the name of an app it shows the page as normal but anytime i click back the page is just black ive attached a screenshot of this, only happened after i switched SIM cards but i switch SIM cards all the time and nothing like this has ever happened before, i was playing around with Titanium Backup earlier but i don't think i made any major changes and as far as im aware the market was fine then.
Has anyone ever experienced a problem like this before and any solution?
Cheers

Go to Settings - Applications - All - Market. Clear data and try again. Should that not help uninstall any updates and open the market again.

Top man that does the job
OK. Thought I make a new thread so the access to this findings is quick
Got really p. o. with the waiting for sense when I pause a game. so I fiddled in the settings.
in the development section
Don't keep activities
It is unticked by default. Tick it ( I went on recent apps to make sure it would be saved) and untick it again.
Made my laggy sense go away and the fun has really started for me now.
After a total power off it is still working fine.
So that's my finding of my todays birthday. Hope this helps some of you with this monsterphone ... I'm off for partying with my wife and kids now
Edit2:
Backup your device as soon as possible
When you update your os or change your rom you usually get a smoother experience with it after a factory reset.
My device setup:
turn off fast reboot
disable all stupid sounds and vibrations
disable all the developer settings except for the usb-debugging unless you are a developer (make sure you tick and untick the above mentioned "Don't keep activities")
disable 3 finger gesture
and for a new device or a new rom (update etc.):
Several reboot
are always good lol
btw:
many admin and modding tools interfere with each other and can cut down device performance,
so choose wisely...
Happy Birthday by the way Get smashed!

I noticed a very brief pause while it seemed to reload apps but in the same position (like a specific area of a menu) and it really bugged me considering the hardware. I just gave what you suggested a try and it seems (key word there being seems) to have stopped this. I turned the setting on, went home and oh man that was painfully slow so then I turned it back off. It's almost as if the setting was half way between the two settings, maybe a hybrid setting. I'll keep an eye on this though in case it was just a placebo effect.
@3x13 good tip.
I actually just tried out the feature to see how the phone performed with it on, and thus found the solution myself...by random chance, but it makes a big diff.
Have updated the frontpost
Done the following except that I enabled usb debugging but the "sometimes" unresponsive touch screen still occurs

If you have updated you unfortunately should do a factory reset. Do a backup through adb first and play your applications back after.

Thanks for the tips bro
So if i get this correctly i have to tick "don't keep activities" go back to the home screen and then go back to "don't keep activities" and re-check it?
I think this is the correct way of doing it because if u keep it ticked then Sense always re-loads when u go on the home screen right?
Thanks again
Everytime I check 'don't keep activities' when pressing the home button it takes ages to load the home screen.
I have also got ticked no background processes, what does that actually do? Thought it would of been similar to don't keep activities

Correct, you tick it and then untick it. Not spectacular to do but the effects are brilliant.

So untick it again and then you are done. Background processes is another thing I wouldn't bother with.
So recently I've noticed that whenever I press the WiFi icon in the quick settings menu, it will blink/flash a few times before the icon is fully blue. It will look as though it's repeatedly being turned on. This happens when I toggle it both on and off (it'll look as though it's turning off a few times). I've restarted the phone and this issue is still here. Does anyone have the same experience or has managed to fix this issue? I've tried restarting the phone, shifting its position in the quick settings bar, removing and then putting it back in the quick settings bar. I'd appreciate it if anyone could help me with this issue.

I have the same issue. I didn't have it at first but it happened by itself after a while. It's a bug, I guess.

Aw man Not a deal-breaker or anything but it's just annoying to see on an otherwise great phone. Thanks for informing me though! Let me know if it happens to go away after doing something haha.

My wife's LG g4 is now three weeks old and I've noticed this problem I've done a factory reset I've tried all kinds of things I can't get it to stop and called lg2 told me I have to send it to the repair center in Texas I'll be out of a phone for two weeks
That's the intended design. "turning on and scanning" is sort of a state between on and off, so they make it blink to feel in-between.
Just my 2 cents though.

Same issue heer now after update. wifi wont work(
I got the LG G4 in July and have had this issue. I sent the phone for repair at their Texas facility in August. After a few weeks, I got the phone back and just within the past few weeks I've seen this issue occur again. The repair notes say that they have "Replaced Bluetooth Module". My WiFi connection disconnects when this issue occurs, so it's really annoying and a dealbreaker for me. I'm going to get a completely different phone replacement from Verizon.
Maybe a Fix
I saw this in another forum...haven't tried it yet:
Just signed in to share this.. I solved it by deleting /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf .
It will reset all your saved networks.
I have it rooted and deleted the file through a root explorer or you can remove it via adb (adb shell rm -r /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf Im not sure).
You may back it up before then open with a text reader to see your saved passwords.
Hope it helps.
I have same probom what must do?

My issue resolved in lg g4 by clearing cache in recovery and in app of all google related cleared app data and cache.
It is the google whos turning on the wifi
I've been loving this phone since Saturday but came across an issue that I can't figure out how or why it's happening and to solve it. When I'm downloading a some what large file, I'll turn the screen off and after a certain amount of time Nougant will pause my download. While I love the ability to easily pause and cancel downloads finally, it's getting quite annoying have to check my phone ever 15min to make sure it's still downloading. I'm not sure the length of time yet for it to auto-pause my downloads, but it constantly happens.
Any suggestions on a way around this or how to fix it? Marshmallow didn't do this on my 6p.
Thanks!!

Try going to Settings --> Battery --> (top right 3 dots) --> Battery Optimize --> All Apps --> Downloads --> Do not optimize.
Only thing I can think of is the new Doze and sleep features kick in since they are set automatically to optimize. Try that and see if it helps.

Thanks for the help and to think I thought I've been thru all options. Just went and changed it and will test it out and report back. If it doesn't work, I'll change the Chrome option as well too.
Thanks!
Ended up pausing again so I turned it back on and turned off optimization on Chrome and I'll see what happens.
I've had this problem on a number of Android phones from various manufacturers but haven't found the cure yet. A reboot usually cures it for me.

This is the first phone for me that will pause stuff. Older phones would sometimes stop downloading tho.
Appears like changing optimization for chrome fixed the only issue so far!!

I guess that would also make some sense if you are downloading via Chrome. Glad you were able to get it figured out.

Yeah I misspoke, thought it was being controlled by the Downloads app. Thanks to you I was able to get it fixed.
I'm having exact same problem but I have a galaxy note 4.Downloading large files always pauses in chrome and cm browser but it never happens in stock internet app(samsung default browser).
I have whitelisted both browsers but that doesn't solves the problem for me.
Are there any other solutions?

If I just exit Chrome, download still works. If I close out the app, it'll pause and I'll have to go hit resume. Maybe yours is same way?
Looks like the option is gone? Am I missing something?

Not for me...
Strange, mine comes up Sleeping Apps
Settings > Device care > Battery > Top right 3 dots menu > Settings > Sleeping apps
So it's not streamlined, they have just buried 2 steps in, why not leave it where it was ?
Telemetry probably showed them the majority of people do not venture into that setting, so to remove clutter from the main settings panel they tucked it away where only people like us will go looking for it
Thanks a lot i found it
Just type sleeping
Cool idea, but doesn't stop app from sleeping when all of turned off except for notifications, even though it shows, background battery usage cant be restricted. And option to turn off is greyed out. After turning off screen music stops always playing after a couple of minutes. Never happened before Android 9, wish I could update (sometimes known as downdating? ) but really it's updating that breaks functions lol
