Go launcher hd on paranoid android - HTC One X

Hi,
I'm currently on paranoid android. Are there any ideas on how to get go launcher hd to work?
Every time you launch it, it redirects you to go launcher for phone.
I already tried changing the build.prop to the transformer values and decompiled the apk, but weren't able to find anything that helped me.
I would appreciate any help or ideas. I will also try to contact the developer to ask if it is possible to get past the check, or if there is the possibility to implement something in the next builds.
If there are any other good tablet launchers available you could recommend, go ahead and I'll give it a try.
Thanks in advance domsch1988.

3 dot menu in ADW

So I've installed the ADW launcher on my unrooted OneX and it's great. I do however have one problem, I can't figure out how to make the 3 dot menu go away when on the home screen and in the app.drawer. So my question is, does anyone know if it's even possible and how it's done, or do I have to wait for the update from HTC to fix it?

If you keep your device unrooted you have to wait for update. Or you root your device and use the mod in dev section.

[App] Paranoid Updater

Hello guys I am very New to android app development and this is actually my first app built with Basic4android... so it is very unstable and not functional yet ... I just wanted to share this with you. So if you like it and want me to keep up developing this just hit the thanks button and rate this thread... it would also be very useful to get to know some strings that can help me with implementing things to the app.
Thanks!

Well yeah, but it's pretty wysiwyg. It has some autocompletion and help if you have an active internet correction. But especially when you need to visualize something, like a layout, it's far easier to use eclipse. Also they have introduced a limit to the free version where if your project has more than five java files, you can't save your files, which is really frustrating :/ other than that it's nice to be able to edit your files with ease while on the go. It also has error checking for syntax, so that should help typos etc

This idea would be great if you could change the goo.im folder it looks at. I use MMuzzy's ROM and goo manager doesn't tell me when there is an update.
First of all I must get a new PC and set all up again... But yea... This goo pic is not very nice

very nice, love the idea! i will definitely give this a shot once it is a little more stable!
I am also new to publishing my apps, also from b4a.
Your app is a good idea, but I'm not sure how it works.
what makes it different from other managers?
Keep your work up, doing great!
thanks

[MOD][CM10.1][Wingray/Everest] Tablet UI - Auto-Patcher

Update: Everest users scroll down to 2nd post
The phone-like layout for the latest Jelly bean releases is annoying for me, largely because of the amount of space wasted.
Tablet-UI optimisation works best for me
Made this thread in response to this thread, thought it was a great idea and did decided to do it myself.
I will simply upload the files as I create them for personal use. You can, of course, create it yourself, including on Windows :highfive:
Get it here
To use, simply flash update to a fresh CM ROM. If anything goes wrong then flash the restore zip.
And I'll try to upload the latest CM10.1 patch for tabletUI for Xoom MZ601 umts_everest (3G) devices
PLEASE put BOTH files on your device.
Flash "Update" to install the mod, wipe cache/dalvik and reboot.
if something goes wrong flash "Restore" to undo.
PLEASE BE AWARE I DON'T ALWAYS TEST THESE!!! If you find a broken/non-working version, please PM me ASAP so i can pull the file
ALWAYS do a NANDROID before flashing and
nobody can be held liable if you go skydiving using your device as a parachute, refer to your user manual
Find them in my Dropbox folder

Melbourne. Yeah man I saw you in the other thread
I can upload for next few days but I'll help you out with patcher too, assuming you use Windows like myself.
If you download the .exe it will be in C:\User\Name\Downloads, keep it there and don't move it to C:\ or Desktop since it will mess it up.
Disable firewall and other anti-malwares. Comodo sandboxed the exe, so obviously it's not so good.
Run as administrator.
It will download Java and the patcher program. Almost runs by itself.
Select Tablet UI and browse for your ROM .zip
Press start.
Easy!
Hey man, Brisbane myself and both clearly early risers.
I actually got it to work now \o/ turns out I had a bad download of the rom. Everything else was right
So thanks for your help. I'm happy to upload Everest files here once I convert them, as I update CM10.1 almost every update

Hi, I flashed the tablet ui zip over my Rom with the corresponding nightly. But I have one problem. The icons in the upper left and right corner (Google and app drawer) don't show up. Any ideas?
Thanks for the work.

Excellent and many thanks for this. Now my wife can enjoy a tablet UI on her Xoom, running the latest build of 10.1 and the Nova Launcher.
works a treat
Will it work on UMTS_everest too?

Does this need to be updated each time the CM 10.1 is updated...?
I see that CM10.1 is on a 20th May nightly so would I be best not upgrading until this mod has been changed to reflect that..?
Yes, it will need to be updated everytime.
I'll have new ones up in the hour (Everest)

Anyone confirm if this is working on stingray?

Here too, cause of more activity, request shutdownanimation

So the next try and sorry for posting in 2 different forums.
My question: is it possible to apply shutdown animations? Only pushing a shutownanimation.zip to /system/media doesn't work. Has it to do with framework, or sth. else? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe some Dev could help me out? Or is this question too noobish? If that is... sorry for that. But I really like to have some shutdown animation
If that is kernel related pls point me the way, cause it will be my first try then.

Nexus 4 doesn't support that, I know it's in the custom sense framework though.

Change DPI on stock rooted Sense 6?

I have ROM Toolbox Pro installed, and I have changed the DPI from 480(default) to 370. Everything looks great except for the Sense Interface. Pretty much the drop downs and the folder boxes all look off. Is there a way to change just the dropdown and other sense-related things using App Settings module in Xposed?
I thing so.
Oh man andrewnelson please let it to just comment with just useless words...always if I see you somewhere commenting there aren't really helpful things...
At OP ...sense/prism launcher needs to be hacked/modded I think because there aren't any xposed modules which can do this atm...
