So the next try and sorry for posting in 2 different forums.
My question: is it possible to apply shutdown animations? Only pushing a shutownanimation.zip to /system/media doesn't work. Has it to do with framework, or sth. else? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe some Dev could help me out? Or is this question too noobish? If that is... sorry for that. But I really like to have some shutdown animation
If that is kernel related pls point me the way, cause it will be my first try then.

Nexus 4 doesn't support that, I know it's in the custom sense framework though.

I have a little question. Is there a tutorial that shows how to do this? I want to try to port Tw launcher for Cm9 to use it.
Edit: Can this work for us too?

I'll try it tomorrow.
Edit2: IT works.

Seen many posts about CRT off.
Just thought I would mention that I've used an app on my xperia arc called 'screen off and lock' which has an old style tv off animation. Don't know if this is similar.
I can also report that the app works on my SGSIII
Might be worth giving it a try?
Not working here...screen goes on after lock. Even with the right settings in app. Worse than the actual original mod.

Strange... works fine for me
with this app you lock your phone by choosing the app from the desktop not original from power button.
It works if u disable touchwiz lockscreen.. Or do what i did to get the real effect.. Flash cm9
Works fine here but the lock screen flashes up for a second, i seem to remember the original CRT doing the same thing.
Would be good if we could map this to one of the hardware keys, ie: Power.
Thanks
Just noticed, not one person had said thanks to you for this.
What a bunch eh.
rude.
Just download Tweak box and xposed installer from XDA. U can turn it on and off any time.

Hello guys I am very New to android app development and this is actually my first app built with Basic4android... so it is very unstable and not functional yet ... I just wanted to share this with you. So if you like it and want me to keep up developing this just hit the thanks button and rate this thread... it would also be very useful to get to know some strings that can help me with implementing things to the app.
Thanks!

Well yeah, but it's pretty wysiwyg. It has some autocompletion and help if you have an active internet correction. But especially when you need to visualize something, like a layout, it's far easier to use eclipse. Also they have introduced a limit to the free version where if your project has more than five java files, you can't save your files, which is really frustrating :/ other than that it's nice to be able to edit your files with ease while on the go. It also has error checking for syntax, so that should help typos etc

This idea would be great if you could change the goo.im folder it looks at. I use MMuzzy's ROM and goo manager doesn't tell me when there is an update.
First of all I must get a new PC and set all up again... But yea... This goo pic is not very nice

I am also new to publishing my apps, also from b4a.
Your app is a good idea, but I'm not sure how it works.
what makes it different from other managers?
Keep your work up, doing great!
thanks

Sorry mate there is no such thing unfortunately, You're going to have to download a different launcher. Then you will have to theme it to make it look like a sense launcher..
And you've also posted in the wrong section this should be in Q&A..
Is there an app that allows to unlock the screen like the LG G2 does?

Yes.. Slide to unlock has the feature, tap to unlock the screen but for that you need a modified stock kernel and for using a modified stock kernel you need to be rooted.
Search for the thread in Original dev section.

I'm know about the root apps but I wanted this functionality without root.
Should have clarified that in the op.

im looking for this app for any other phone (preferably the s3 and s4) other than the nexus and im already rooted and such
come on man your can just put SuperSu on your phone and leave the rest as is if you a purist but lets be honest all the real good stuff comes with root. Or you gonna have to get G2 since I am sure they may have the patent on double tap to wake
you can keep the stock rom and just root it and apply francos kernel.
your display must be yellow tinted then.?
Sent from my Nexus⁴ running franco kernel
The kernel in touch control site would be the only thing needed right? I think its on the 2nd post. Or can anyone upload it here quick please? And nothing breaks right? By using this modified kernel? I would like to adjust my gamma colors again but stopped flashing anything on this phone..
