Hey Guys, I just created a bootanimation off the UKF Music Video animation... I think theres nothing like this around here on XDA so I created one by myself...

I have been through the entire sticky'd thread for boot animations and I just can't find one I like so I thought I'd request one. What I want is pretty simple:
Something with the Android robot
Something explosive, colorful and beautiful
Something smooth, sharp and futuristic.
Basically, like the droid x boot screen on steroids, more colors and an a little android bot.
Or The nexus boot animation but on steroids and a little android bot.
Something comparable in epic awesomeness as the more recent final fantasy video games.
Preferable no words, just animation (maybe "loading" or "booting" would be okay).
On a flashable zip.
If it can't be done I understand and I'll settle for continuing my hunt to find one.

Who wants a challenge?
I found these 2 pretty awesome boot animations by googling "bootanimation.zip"
They both came from droid eris forums.
If anyone wants to mod them to work on an evo and put 'em in a flashable zip, you'd be my hero, I definitely want a copy of at least unstable core
I updated the txt file in both of them to match one I found in the other Evo bootanimation zips but I still get an error when I try to flash them.
Anyone know how sweet these are?

Ya wow that droid x one with an android there instead of a ball, that'd be f****** sick.
quick question.. instead of flashing these boot zips why dont people just move them to system/customize/resource. then rename the old boot anim. and name the new one "bootanimation.zip"

ok this is the second one i have made turned out much better than the first i will add a youtube video tomorrow and a high res version tomorrow also. for now here it is just down load rename to bootanimation.zip and push to system/media replace whats there and reboot and watch the 3d goodness lol

Thought you were doing something with space lol. I will get this tomorow when you load up the High Res one. Hey where can I learn how to make Boot Animations. It looks easy enough. Just a series of image files?

space one will be up soon just have to learn one more effect lol. and i do animations rendered to png and use boot animation factory to put it together. easy for me i have done everything from design cars builds even books if it computer art i can do it lol.

Yeah but those animations also have a Beats animation inside and as much as I love it, it always lags like hell on the Beats part... I tried to remove the Beats part, but it just made the phone get stuck at the bootanimation's last image... I could even interact with the phone (ie. unlock it and tick some settings, I could hear it all happening) but the image of the bootanimation wouldnt go away, so I couldnt see absolutely anything that was happening... That's why I'm requesting these, as the original never lags...

Or do you mean the Bootanimation shows a text saying xperia but the animation itself looks Android L-like?

In my opinion, i don't really like it. It freezes a lot, does not loop, and is stretched to fit the screen which kinda makes it look ugly. One more thing, did you use the bootanimation i linked you as a base for this one?

You just resize the image in the boot right, because this work with some lag and the boot look bad fix its soon

Im posting a few of my boot animations that I made/coverted using Samsung Theme Designer.
I found Gifs on the net like http://www.bestgifever.com/ and converted them to to a bootanimation.zip file at http://www.bhoot.co.uk/dashboard. I then used Samsung Theme Designer to turn them to .qmg format. These are my first ones so they might not be great but I am trying to get better at it so if you like them than great and if you dont like them, just delete and restore!

Go into Root Explorer...find ( system ) folder....then ( media ) folder....then delete PowerOn.ogg = this is file that plays sound during the bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg.
Make a backup of the file just incase you want it back!

Got it, much appreciated!
FWIW, I found both the PowerOn.ogg & PowerOff.ogg files in system/media/audio/ui. Renamed it UIPowerOn.ogg (to remember where it came from) and moved it to SDCard.
