Differences between 101g9 and 80g9 - Gen9, Gen10 General

Again, hey guys,
so i can choose between the 80g9 and the 101g9 for the same price..
What are known "problems" or "disadvantages" between both?
ik that the 80g9 has a bad viewing angle and obviously it is smaller.
are there other differences between those devices?
(talking about the new turbo version of both of them)
At least, what would you go for?
thanks

It is the same.....

Buy the A100, yes or no?

1saleaday is selling it on today's flash sale for $170. I'm fine with the price, but I'm wondering if it's a good tablet? I'll probably be using it more for reading, internet browsing, watching movies while traveling, maybe very very light gaming. I'm comfortable flashing recoveries/rom's, using ADB, etc. But is it a decent daily tablet?
I love it go for it cost is very nice ...

Depends on you, really. For me its great, but less then great battery life and 1 bad viewing angle may make it unbearable for you. Me, I just learned my way around it. Only real flaws I'd give it in general, not counting defects. Wifi is a little on the weak side as well.

$170 is a steal for a GREAT ice cre sandwich tablet with minimal flaws. Much better than the kindle Fire, has FULL android (play store, google apps)...has hdmi (great for tv hookup and a good tegra 2 processor for gaming I would say go for it, it's one of the best tablets for the price

Awesome and welcome. Don't expect iPad build quality, but the g9 is actually very durable, my 5 yo son destroys his and it keeps ticking. I am using the 80 as I like the 8 inch size. Let us know how the 10“ works.

It arrived this morning, all working great. Having read a bunch of reviews slating it for tacky build quality, poor camera, etc, I wasn't put off. Those reviews were just picky. It's actually quite solidly built, and very fast. Not bothered about the camera, I have a real digital camera for photos, and my mobile phone as backup. Why would I want to lug my tablet around to take pictures? Bizarre. They could have quite happily left the camera off for all I care.
But anyway, like I said, the 101 G9 Turbo ICS is great! Screen is awesome, apps look brilliant on it.

In the process of getting either the Samsung, Acer or Asus. I really want the pad phone. But I can get the transformer for half the price. And I can get an Acer 500 or Sammy 10" for even swap of my iPhone 4.

Because I want a 10" screen, that's why. I may totally jump on the nexus 7 if they are priced good here. But not before a new bigger device. I have been waiting for any information on the g10x but none seems to be around besides the initial release video and hoopla this spring. I wish Archie would give extra info on release date and specs.

Yes for normal use
I'm very interested in seeing this tablet, battery life is supposedly so good they didn't need to have an extra in the keyboard section. Cajl, have use used the carbon 9.7? How is it compared to the g9? I'm rooting and supercharging my 80g9 today so see if I can get it running fast and smooth. My only complaint really. Its a little slow and laggy.

Archos 10.1 tablet for digital art

Hi I'm thinking of buying a tablet to do some art and was thinking of getting a note 10.1 and saw this tablet as a cheaper option, I wanted to know what the responsiveness is like if I wanted to use a stylus with it (dagi stylus looks good)
Do you recommend me holding out for the 10.1 note or buy this as a cheaper option.
I'm very tempted to buy this tablet but don't want to make a mistake.
Think I should have put this in the gen9 general, can someone move it there please?
Are you talking about the 101it ?
Honestly if you can buy a more recent tab I would suggest you to do it (I heard that the Samsung ones are not that bad)
To be honest I'm not that clued up about tablets, I did see there was a g9 10 inch archos which is cheap if I buy from amazon but after reviews I've read about the touchscreen failing and usb port braking and people having to send theirs back the archos doesn't seem too reliable.
I just wanted option of drawing directly onto a tablet instead of a art tablet connected to my usb on my laptop.
You think I should get one? Would using a stylus cause loads of lag while drawing?

I don't know about the gen9 but the gen8 that I own is not that responsive and precise...
It's way behind your galaxy S3 (at least concerning the gen8)
But once again I've never seen a gen9 so I can't tell anything about it
Thanks, think I'm better off saving then. Nothing wrong with seeking out a bargain though but I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

I'm guessing the Gen 10 will be good, but honestly, the note tablet would be my first choice for an art tablet because of the s pen. My note phone is great.

Thanks, had a go of the note 10.1 and it was very responsive, had to press a bit hard to register anything but I loved it.
Looks like I've got to do some saving

I own a g9 tablet with a capacitive stylus. The touch screen is very responsive but have a very bad precision...
A Samsung note will be better for art, due to s pen.
But the only true way to do some art is a graphic tablet with a PC or MAC.

Miracast dongles - are they all the same?

I've been looking at connecting my Nexus 5 to my TV and noticed that quite a few manufacturers are selling miracast dongles from between £15 and £50.
Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between them? Are there any ones in the market that are better and useable for gaming with minimal lag?
