Which phone do you have exactly R800i or x? And were do you have downloaded the firmware?
Sent from the best gaming phone on the world.
Why did you use brick fix? you only use that if you mess a kernel flash up, or update ota with an unlocked bootloader, Try flashing http://www.mediafire.com/?lojlw6bffm7alv1
oh and when you try to turn it on do you feel a vibrate or hear a buzz? if so you just have a software brick.
So just flash http://www.mediafire.com/?lojlw6bffm7alv1 follow the instructions, if you don't understand them very well use this tut: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20151540
All the best, let me know if you fix it.

I had the same problem and this fixed it. Thank you!
Ok, so i can manage to flash my phone (lt18i) with new official ics software using flashtool. Thats easy but what i can't get my head around yet is how to use fast boot. I want to try out some different roms but most threads tell you that you need to do something with fastboot ie. put this file into your phone using fastboot.
Can someone please explain what fastboot is and how it works. Is it a tool on my laptop or phone or both???
Please help
Cheers Phil
Fastboot is a mode that you can put your mobile in like flashmode for flashtool!
In flashtoo, you ll have to switch off ur mobil n press back button n plug in cable rite, same in fastboot mode, you'll have to switch off ua mobil then press menu button and plug d cable.. D led ll blink in blue color indicating tat it is connected in fastboot mode.. That mode is usually used to flash kernels and even firmwares also at certain situations!
Get it?
Edit : Its also a tool in PC also!
It is required to flash roms where the mobil is used to connect in that mode!
Sent from my LT15i using XDA
I think so, i take it that you use fastboot in windows command file?
I'll look for a mod and give it a go.
Thanks
I can't manage to get into fastboot mode using flash tool. It tells me i'm in flash mode even tho i've selected fastboot mode.
Any ideas????
When you connect the phone to your computer, you have to press the options button instead off back button.
Back button, green led - flash mode
Options button, blue led - fast boot mode

You have to push the button of the right of the home button on the cell, and keep pushed while you conect the cable, all that with the cell off.
1.- Power off the cell
2.- Go to Fastboot aplication on your pc, into a cmd window
3.- execute de fastboot comand
4.- when you see a line saying <waiting for device>
5.- Keep pushing the menu/option key at right of the menu key while you connect the usb cable, and keep pushed while fastboot works.

Hey buddies,
I have a big issue:
My Xperia S is rooted, I did the bootloader unlock with sucess, and, when I flashed the boot.img inside the FXP149 tapioca (I had sucess by ADB), after ask to "fastboot reboot' my device died :/
It can't be recognized anywhere (USB-PC, wall charger, vol up + usb but it doesn't enter in fastboot mode), it doesn't turn on anymore.. When I hold "power button + vol up + vol down + camera button it's vibrate, but nothing happened in display. I had just this feedback.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
Your phone is not dead bubby you can relax, you have to hard reset your phone by hold down button [ power + vol up ] long enough till the phone vibrant 3 times, after that release buttons and press and hold power button for phone to switch on.

Try this, as described above connect the phone in flashmode, [ vol down while connecting to PC via USB cable ] LED will turn green, open your flashtool then flash a new software firmware in ftf" format,

If you downloaded and flashed the boot.img above using fastboot (that's what I presume), a process which shows a Blue LED, then just download any kernel from here (there's lots of them marked kernel so take your pick) and flash it in the same way using the fastboot flash boot xxxx.img command from your fastboot folder. If not, please explain the step-by-step process and the name all the tools you used so we could guide you to fixing your phone.

I did exactly what you said! I flashed a boot.img from wrong version (CM10 Tapioca instead of Nozomi), so, I guess that this is the mistake to this issue that I having now.
I just don't know the right kernel that I need to flash now to fix this.
Just download stock ics rom and flash it with flashtool after resetting (power+vol up until vibrate 3 times) the phone.
Hey buddies,
I flashed a stock kernel and it´s alive again!
Thank you for support me!!!

its stucks there help plzzzzzz
Recently received an r800i that the battery didn't function in.
Once i received, I placed in a known good battery and turned it on. After the long Sony Ericsson logo time, it boots to a fuzzy mess of colors, as if someone opened mspaint and used the spray brush with random colors everywhere.
Anyone know of a solution to this? Obviously screen seems to function fine as it only shows after booting into the os.
Pressing the volume keys does prompt the sound of the ringer being turned up and down, so seems like the os is functioning, but may be corrupted somehow?
Device does not have usb debugging on, so I can't reflash stock with flashtool as far as I am aware of(this is the problem as to why i can't I'm assuming)
Log from Flashtool when attempting to flash anyways in flashmode-

Am i able to flash through fastboot perhaps to see if it just needs a reflash? I haven't worked with old Android phones for quite a while and I do remember them being a bit picky with what you could do in flash & fastboot modes for each different phone model.
