As tht e title states...
Normally phone carriers sell spares for popular handsets but due to limited markets its not viable for many retailers to stock consumables.
Bets bet are alone stores my advice though is stay aware from sellers that advertise things like "Original Samsung Galaxy S2 Battery" or "Genuine Samsung Galaxy s2 Battery". I have come to learn that there are registered companies known as Original and Genuine which sell batteries and there adverts are very misleading.
Carphone Warehouse would should have them. Probably anywhere that sells the phone. It might be an idea to give them a call first though, just to check

I want to get a new android device. I have fallen out of love with windows mobile. all the rom flashing.. the ORD flashing has left me STRUNG OUT!!
i have the AT&T Pure and my wife has the Tilt 2..
they are BOTH worth some bucks and could easily help fund our new android addiction!
so
where to sell them?!
i'm pretty sure no one on this forum wants "FOR SALE" threads..
so how about "where should i sell it?!"
ebay is a good place, but fees are high.
What prices you got on pure and tilt2.
eBay will get you the most exposure. You can also try the Marketplace forum on this website. Also Craislist, which will allow you to avoid shipping fees if you find a local buyer that can pickup. But neither the XDA Marketplace or Craiglist offer any type of protection from scammers.
I use ebay frequently. When buying, you take a risk, but when selling, I never ship untill payment has been recieved. I also always mention that It won't be shipped w/o payment in the item description. Actual pictures (and several) and good descriptions will get you the most interest and bids, in my experience.
Also, its a risk, but I generally seem to be able to sell things at a higher rate when I am starting at really low prices, as compared to when I have a starting bid close to what I actually want it to sell for. Your best bet is to search ebay for you phones, see how they are selling and what gets the best price.
I am looking to purchase one Tmobile failed me twice - PM me!!
Another eBay tip: Sellers with better ratings get more people looking at their auctions, more people bidding, and therefore better sell prices. If you don't use eBay much, or at all, you might consider having a family member or friend with more transactions under their belt to post the auction for you. Especially for an item like a phone, I would personally only buy from a seller with a very good rating, and with a decent number of transaction under their belt.
I'd be interested in either jsut the Pure or both of them together. Let me know shoot me a PM with how much you'd like to get for them.
Thanks,

so far all I can find is non us sellers, which means a long wait time til delivery. Anyone know of any us sellers of note batteries ?
Umm, You do remember...
Dude, you do remember these aren't available in the United States and won't be for some time right? That's why you, me, - hell everybody - had to buy imports in the first place. That is unless you live across the pond somewhere.
Right now Expansys - U.S. has them available for pre-order for $36.99 or so. That's the absolute cheapest I've seen an 2,500 Whr OEM battery anywhere!
I pre-ordered 1 hoping Samsung will eventually release the NFC chip-enabled batteries for the Note since it' s supposed to be a U.S. only option for the time being. Although I usually keep 3 batteries on hand I won't be doing that with these puppies. I rotate them every 2 weeks to keep each battery fresh and so they receive roughly the same amount of use and shelf life.
I'm sticking with 2 standard OEM batteries in case they do make the NFC Batteries available to us in the Unites States. I don't feel like stuck with extras when the GT-N7000' successor is released which I'm sure is already in the pipeline - much in the same way Asus had done with the Transformer line.
While Samsung knew they had a winner in the Galaxy Note I don't think they anticipated this big of a success we knuckleheads provided them. Especially with us throwing down the amount of $$$ we did amidst these hard times just for the privilege to own one.
But the greatest surprise is we're not bound to a friggin' 2 year contract and we'll be able to buy a Quad, a Quin, or more - Core SuperPhone sooner than we would've been able to do before!
There's at least one US seller on Ebay selling aftermarket batteries for the Note. There are a ton based in Hong Kong with prices averaging ~$5 per battery after shipping, but like you said, it takes 2 or 3 weeks for delivery usually. Use the tools on the left side of the screen to narrow the search results down to US sellers only. It'll cost a little more, but still dirt cheap compared to an OEM battery, and like I said, there's at least 1 US seller, as I recently received mine from them.
The cheapo copies claim 2600 mAH, 100 more than OEM, but I'd say they're roughly the same capacity, maybe a little less. I guesstimated the capacity of mine to be 70%-80% that of my OEM battery, but that was on the first charge/discharge cycle. Still some seriously good value.

What does the note not being officially released in the US have to do with any US store having Chinese batteries for the note?
I suppose the same thing that did UK vendors buying weeks ago batteries from Chinese manufacturers and selling from the UK so the shipping being shorter is being done by US vendors.
on expansys they are selling sg2 original battery fir 24.50 dollars ? are they trustable or they are just selling chinese batteries with samsung logo
Expansys is averry big and global webshop seller - I've bought there 2-3 times with no problems. The delivery times were slightly long (~ 3 weeks)
bought 2 smartphones from them, had to call them tho to make sure they've sent the phones
They're reliable, ordered my phone from them and even got refunded for the discount they did the next day.
Yeah guys but i mean that they said there are selling original batteries for s2 but i really need to know if they really are selling original batteries out there...because i search my whole market no original battery available there

Read what they have written original has to be original or you can complain .
/return the item .
As Expansys had the item on pre order and are pre ordering other model Samsung batteries you are buying Samsung battery from a top class supplier .
jje
Expansys sells retail products, no aftermarket unless specified.
yes they are very reliable , i had made a few large business with them a few times
Yes they are but they are dearer than a lot of other retailers which is why i wouldn't use them again but they are definitely legitimate.

Hi there,
I'm here, just joined the XDA Circuit to try to offer some customer support in here where possible...
Please let me know if I can help here at all. Not sure what batteries you were looking at (?) or if you've gone and bought one yet (?) but I can certainly vouch for the fact that we provide a money back guarantee etc and that we carry branded and non branded items - all clearly stated within product descriptions etc. You should never have any issue with that. You'll receive what you ordered (as per the product description notes and image included on our site)
We've re written our Terms + Conditions lately to reflect waranties + returns etc. Please feel free to check it out. If you have any questions, do let us know.
We want to help out where we can.
Cheers all
That's all cool & stuff, but let's face it, you guys don't exactly have the cheapest prices around
Bought my nexus today, but was surprised to find that none of the big uk retail shops, carphone, phones4u, vodafone, 02,have any accessories for the galaxy nexus. Am I missing something?, cause the phone has been released a while back.?

Why would they, it's the same the world over, any decent and/or cool accessory might as well be a unicorn that will show up 12 weeks after you order it from some obscure website and pay $100 for shipping.
I don't think it's feasible for brick/mortar stores to carry many of these accessories since most consumers are generally happy with the "universal" junk and the devices change so quickly. Unfortunate, I agree.
One of the things we have to accept as Nexus users is that Nexus will never be mainstream phone heavy supported with acessories. It is obvious that the Nexus idea is not interesting to carriers and oems, since they cant fill it up with bloatware and it makes people wanting others phones to be upgraded for the last super-cool Android version.
This is my second Nexus phone and I dont plan to buy a non Nexus again, but I accepted the fact that I will be with the minotiry. Phones like the Samsung Galaxy S are much better for oems and carriers and will be much more marketed/supported.
Thanks the only problem is, I now have to wait for the accessories I ordered online, which will take days, that's the problem, even the corner shops, that sell all kinds of fake accessories, don't have a screen protector, and having owned my fair share share of smartphones, this is a first, not to find a single shop selling nexus specific screen protectors.

if it helps... a few posts below this one there is a thread by me.. it is beware of an ebay seller... i posted a good seller in that thread also...
unfortunately no Samsung centre here
i was speaking to a friends at work and he told me that the product reviews.on Amazon are not exclusive for the seller, for example i buy am item off.seller A and its counterfeit, i leave negative review, the negative review will also show for seller B &.C, because the reviews are for item no matter who sold it
so now I'm thinking, the negative reviews are not for the batteries sold by Amazon directly, but maybe for third party Sellers?
I'm in no rush to buy as my original is still going strong, but i snagged 2 official battery chargers for £20, so i thought i would get 2 official batteries aswell,
i only need extra juice on Saturdays when I'm out and about so i can stream 3 football matches and maybe the odd boxing or ufc, i always leave the stream running even if phones in my pocket, so i got instant access
i got unlimited data
