Requested by reviewers, I figured I'd post it in the open as well in case anybody else needs the file.
File is large (657MB) and contains all system files for the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy SIII (T-999). I've compressed it (BEST setting), I believe the actual file size is 994MB, to try and make the download/upload a bit less harsh.
Is there a way to see the actual progress of a dropbox upload?
Since the file is so large, it required I use the desktop feature. I dropped it in the dropbox folder on my PC and it started syncing (toolbar icon shows upload speed and current time....but it has said 1hr since I started. The speed keeps moving, so I know it's working, but it has been over an hour since I started).
I'm wondering if it was closer to 2hr.
Sorry it's taking so long guys.
EDIT- As SOON as I posted this, my toolbar icon displays 59 minutes lol. It's getting there!

I don't know him at all, or probably anyone in this portion of the community. He asked me for the file, otherwise I would have had no clue it was even valuable to anyone. I felt since he asked for me to keep it exclusive for the time being, it would be fair to do so, but only for this weekend.
If this is against the rules, however, please let me know and I'll fix that.

No worries its not against any rules but "reviewers" was very infamous in the amaze forums with not knowing how to do any development and just kanging work, but hey everyone gets a fresh start......so they say

Yeah, after getting several PMs about the situation, I'm going to return the link to the page.
It appears (from what I'm getting) that he was upset he did not get the phone yet and was trying to gain access to building a ROM before anyone else.

False, I never not produce anything that's "not functional" so relax besides 1 thing we're calling was glitched. It was passed then get over it. I learned much since then.

Just browsing through the forum this morning, I've seen several threads that the basic concept is "HELP I FLASHED SOMETHING FOR THE INTERNATIONAL SGSII AND NOW MY PHONE IS FRIED".
So just a reminder: It's probably not a good idea to flash anything that is not made for your phone unless you're absolutely certain it won't mess anything up.
I always thought that was common sense, but apparently not.

If they can still get to Odin mode after flashing the international ROM it is able to be saved. The thing is you have to install the drivers from the international phone to get Odin to recognize it. I know it's worked at least once on here

Thats what happened to my EVO, bought a cheap car charger on ebay and it was sending 14V out of the micro usb. That phone was jacked after using that thing for a couple of days.

I think more iphone users are starting to fall inlove with android due to 4'52, removable ram, removable batteries, easy syncing, apps, customisations. Idk they are usually getting pretty smart pretty fast after converting but allas, some new i phone user are uses to if apple will allow you to view it or download it than it will work on the iphone because 50% of evertthing is locked down and restricted and the iphone wont let you [email protected] up. They get here to android and ont realise you can do anything and IOS wont be there to hold your hand and prevent you wrong screwing up... Ehhh o well

The timing of this couldn't be any more perfect. This thread goes up, and then someone boinks their E4gT by flashing the latest leaked int'l SGS2 ICS ROM lol.
I can understand how there could be some confusion - the Epic Touch is a Galaxy S2 variant.
Even I had to do some research, verifying the battery for the Epic Touch is indeed different from the other phones, and the software / drivers are different in subtle and not so subtle ways.
But I agree, one should always read, read, read, and read more before they flash a ROM for their phone, regardless of the type of phone. Making assumptions is one sure way to brick a phone.
At the very least post a question here before doing something questionable. It never hurts to get a second opinion.
But yes, the Epic Touch is different from the Galaxy S2. Please do not use any software for the SGS2 for the Epic Touch unless it has been specifically tested and used here by others, more experienced veterans.

Good post op. I am so surprised I see so many posts about I flashed a rom and now my epic touch won't boot. Then we find out it was for the international SII. There is no reason for making that mistake. I understand its a variant if the SII but that's why there is an epic touch subforum. Its just unbelievable when I read their posts.

Anyway, enjoy your phone OP. I missed delivery of mines today As an owner of multiple android devices the best tip I can give you is to read the general and development forums starting with the stickies. The best thing you can do for your device is to get fully aclamated with the ins and outs.

Its fun to joke about, but seriously do this! I saw someone in one of the early Expansys/Clove/Handtec threads (one of the Euro importers) report that he missed delivery of the phone, and had to go pick it up at the distribution hub. He signed for the package, which indicates that he took the package and was OK with the condition of the materials. He then opened the box when he got home and found that someone at the shipping co had opened the box, taken the phone, and replaced it with something of similar weight. Extremely rough because it is super troublesome to deal with the shipping co and especially the importer who's based outside the US.
I plan on opening mine at the counter at FedEx when I go to pick it up. Not gonna take that kinda chance. I also requested the package be held at the distribution center, rather than taking a chance that I miss delivery and it sits on the truck for too long. Super tinfoil hat, but damn its a $575 package, I'm gonna check that **** first.

If it was an attempted suicide and they handle it the same as in my city (in Texas), mazook was probably taken to a short-term center for observation, which could be six weeks or so. Depending on behavior there, they may be transferred to a long-term facility for three months.
Without insurance, going to a state center means you will stay there every day that the state is paying for it, so the full three months.
Edit: And if they used pills/alcohol, there is a high chance that the paramedics made it in time.
i guess the issue is, no one knows if they got to him on time, let alone if this actually happened..he was very active here and on Rootz, and hasn't posted anywhere since that incident..

Its not for t-mobile but for another carrier (not international). Please take a look at the screen shot you guys were asking for. The home button is a finger print scanner and has the USB3 port.

No body is forcing you to believe anything. The housing of the device Im using is not the final product so even if I uploaded a pic of the device you still wouldn't believe is the Note3.
I wish they hadn't closed the other thread started by Admiral Sir Manley Power. He has a pretty good rep in the Note 2 forums and I give him the benefit of the doubt. Besides, it's been know that Samsung has shipped units of the Note 3 to carriers for testing. From what I've read, they shipped 3 or 4 different versions so the final product hasn't been decided yet.
Also forgot to mention, the speaker is now on the bottom, between the pen hole and the usb port!!!!!! Very excited about that!!

Im assuming the final product is going to look like a big GS4. Since the Mega already looks like that, I really thing the Note3 is going to follow that look.

If you guys want to believe that the release of the Note 3 is near fine, if not, then fine with me as well. As for me, this thread can be closed as well. I don't even know why I tried.

I wanted the screenshot and its enough for me. I believe this guy 100%. Specs and the fact that it identifies the device in the app is genuine. No he should not compromise his job for a stupid pic.
I have the iphone 5 ios 7. And carry around and people dont believe me when i tell it is the actual ios 7. They ask all these questions with tangible evidence in my hand and they still wont believe me. All you need is evidence mate. If you have evidence and they still wont bite... then they are ignorant

This, a million times. A mod should just lock the thread because:
- OP is breaking his NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) ---> Legal issues
- It could or could not be fake; we have no way or proving either
- It's just going to start a war between people who believe and those who don't
Seriously, just wait for the damn thing to come out. When I worked for Sprint and Verizon, we'd have reps from every manufacturer come in to show us upcoming devices. I once asked an HTC rep if they (the company itself) were behind the numerous and convenient leaks out on the internet, and the guy said "Yes, some of them."
This thing is going to leak one way or another. So just lock the thread.

Stating you have something that you cannot prove or show or talk too much about is taunting not development
It would be different if there was a near release date but there are no release dates as of yet.
