Hi. I have Xperia Arc S with latest Android ICS update (4.1.B.0.431).
My laptop was stolen and I heve to use my phone for browsing.
So I've connected my orphaned bluetooth mouse Logitech m555b to the phone without any external programs.
And it works perfect.
Except one thing: all the mouse buttons work as left-click "tap action".
But on right click it should react as "back", center - "home".
Here is the video where this mouse works perfectly with Samsung Galaxy S phone.
youtube.com/watch?v=AkUiTZLBMnk
Is there any way to make it work properly on my phone?
One hint. In ColorNote right click works as popup.
So actions sent to Android OS -> Application properly.
But for some reason right click doesn't used by Android OS properly.
Is there any config file responsible for (bluetooth) mouse actions?
Any news about M555B and ICS?
Are there any news about compatibility of M555B BT mouse and ICS?
I have my Samsung Galaxy S2 with ICS 4.0.3 and my BT mouse M555B works properly BUT all keys are mapped only like a click and i REALLY MISS the right click (= android BACK) and center click (= android SETTINGS).
I've just made 2 test with one Galaxy Note with Gingerbread (2.3) and the compatibility is perfect (right click = back and center click = Settings). The same with a Galaxy SAdvance (with Gingerbread too.. 2.3)
I'm really wondering WHY and upgrade of Android Operating system causes loss of features in compatibility of the mouse.
Please help us
Thanks
Marco

Same problem here...
Every button works fine with S2 (4.12).
But not with Nexus7 (4.2.1)...
Don't use any USB device for long , it will burn the IC , xperia arc chip is not made to supply desired current and may burn.

Paired my Logitech DiNovo Mini with my Xoom on 3.1, and both mouse and keyboard in it work perfectly. It is just the right size for getting some work done, though the mouse could use a bit more acceleration
All in all, a great little accessory - next step is to make a charger cable for USB so I can leave the DiNovo adapter at home.

Captivate always on mikey's latest wonder, whether Serendipity or GR-11
I'm uploading a youtube video but will describe my findings with my DiNovo Mini:
- It's responsive enough for government work
- Home is FN-e (explorer)
- Volume Up and Down buttons work
- Rewind, Stop, Play/Pause and Fast Forward all work
- Page Up and Page Down work great in a browser
- Mouse control is great in an RDP client connected to a windows box: I will put my foot in my mouth on this one. This functionality alone enables all levels of professionals to hit the field knowing they can have dependable RDP support and also have the precision and control of a mouse while using the tablet. I could see a doctor carrying this from room to room with a little dinovo mini, setting it down and entering in patient information all while keeping his own equipment secure. The uses are endless.
Here ya go check it out:

I have a similar setup and I also swear by PocketCloud.
Out of curiosity since you guys are Pocketcloud users. I just set it up for the first time (thanks for bringing it to my attention!) and was wondering if you guys know if it supports multiple monitor setups? I run 3 mobitors on my main PC and would love to be able to switch between monitors. Is LogMeIn ignition my best bet?
Thanks!

When used in RDP mode I can tell you that it will not. All desktops get squashed into one. VNC mode may be different.

In Logmein, I can pick which monitor I want, or watch all three at the same time. I can select through the menu, or shake to switch. Pretty neat.
I tried also dinovo edge and it working perfect with all the shortcuts and volume slider

When using the bluetooth keyboard as a keyboard, does the on-screen keyboard still pop-up or do you get to use the Xoom full screen *and* type?
Hi there! I've been wondering what kind of bluetooth controllers are compatible with a stock Galaxy Nexus and Riptide GT?
Does the sixaxis work? It works for emulators. But havent tested it on nexus yet because i dont have mine yet.
Sent from my samsung gt i9250 which is in the wrong country.
I've heard that you need to have a modded kernel to use the sixaxis controller, but I don't know, that's why I ask
Sixaxis works great plugged in to the USB/OTG as it works as a generic controller (once you've got around the fact that google forgot to enable HID in the default kernel..). Riptide is almost a different game played that way.
Bluetooth in the sixaxis isn't standard so doesn't work out of the box, alas. There are apps to make it work but all the ones I've seen are IME applications, which aren't really designed for ICS (IME can only simulate keyboard events, not joystick events, so they're cheating, and you don't get the advantage of analogue controls that way).
The only bluetooth controller I've got working (FSVO working) is the iControlPad, but that's currently got a totally screwed up button mapping due to a bug in the iControlPad firmware. That may get fixed soon, though.
I'm sure in a few months there will be loads of compatible controllers on the market..
I know Zeemote is one thats getting bigger, I know several games are building in compatibilty for the J1

They shouldn't need to - bluetooth joysticks are standard and supported by default in ICS. Everything designed for Honeycomb/ICS will just work and no need for 'xxx controller compatible' mode hacks that earlier OSs needed.
If the zeemote is a reasonably standard bluetooth controller everything should work without extra software - but I haven't tried it and their website isn't forthcoming on it...
Edit: Google triumphs again - Zeeomote is *not* a standard bluetooth controller. Pity. I'd have taken a punt for 10 quid.
Any bluetooth keyboard to recommend ?
I got myself a Rapoo E6300 and it doesn't work with my xperia play (Gingerbread).
It works on my Archos 80G9 (ICS), but it doesn't reconnect automatically, I have to repair it everytime I want to use it.
I'm not satisfied at all by that product so I wonder: did anyone have a good experience with a bluetooth keyboard here and can recommend a model ?

I have got same problem with this keyboard on my Galaxy Tab 8.9.
Thanks for your reply, so there seems to be an issue with the rapoo on android.
Anybody can advise another keyboard ?
Does anyone know which bluetooth keyboard will reconnect automatically with the Xperia Play (r800at) and has the best buttons for extra functions? And maybe a mouse as well...
i have the same problem with same keyboard and i read that users using Microsoft wedge are satisfied.

Any news about compatibility of M555B BT mouse and IC on the SII ?
On my Samsung Galaxy S2 ICS 4.0.4 are on my BT mouse M555B all keys mapped only like a click so no right click (= android BACK) and center click (= android SETTINGS). Some do report that they have tested the Galaxy Note with Gingerbread (2.3) and the compatibility is perfect (right click = back and center click = Settings). The same with a Galaxy SAdvance (with Gingerbread too.. 2.3)
Can you confirm that this mouse do not work for you on 4.0.4 (not rooted) / SII ?
In case that this is a general problem... did anybody found a work around ?
Anybody with a working Logitech Bt M555B mouse in 4.1 ( 4.2) on a S2 ( so there will be hope) ?
Was this mouse working on a s2 on android 3.X ?
Thanks a lot for your contribution
Richard

I briefly used a BT mouse and keyboard with nexus thor. Don't recall the brand of mouse; pretty sure it was a Logitech. While both devices connected sucessfully the overall experience wasn't satisfactory given touch centric interface. I quickly reverted back to BT keyboard (AmazonBasics) and my trusty finger smudging up the screen.

I frequently use both a BT keyboard and BT mouse with my Kindle HDX 8.9. I even use it to log in to my computer at work through the vpn and at home through Logmein, and the mouse/keyboard combo is much easier to use than the on screen kb and touch screen.
