hey, just want to throw some ideas out for the XDA site,
1: Adding Google Talk into instant messaging for profile details
2: RSS Feeds for single thread, so devs can have it on their sites
Also feel free to add more in the forum

why am i being directed to random advertisement when using google's search engine to find xda forum?
im typing xda forum on search engine, when the suggestions are listed and i click ed on the first one, i dont go directly to xda forum, but to some advertisement.. so what i did, i typed the complete address... [forum.xda-developers.com] it wasnt used to be like this...
That is an issue you need to take up with Google.
XDA does not control what shows up via a Google search. Best bookmark the site, or ignore the sponsored links and use the "real" entries in Google
I typed XDA into google search and clicked the first link and it brought me right to the front page.
There are Google ads that appear on top of the XDA Google search. Just try to avoid them if they are annoying. Glance at the URL to see where it's taking you.
NO INVITE REQUESTS PLEASE.
So since the other thread is outspammed with invites requests i decided to create a new thread.
So if you have your Google+ account and wanna join the XDA Circle post your profile and lets start adding each other!
Here we go.

Just got my Google+ account set up today.
Is there a way of creating a public circle that users can join?
Would make a XDA HTC Desire user group easier to make.

Hey guys,
I set up an unofficial HTC Desire dev community G+ account, solely for Desire users to have some forum for communication on G+.
http://gplus.to/DesireCommunity
Aiming to have it work same way as XDA's G+ account, send a message to account and all those in the circle should see it.
I'll log on it once a day and those that have added the account I'll add to the same circle.

I don't know if anyone already saw this

Someone created a xda developer google+ profile
mine is:
https://plus.google.com/115669939313284432559
I have a question. If I post mine profile here and then on some other community. And people will start adding me to their circles from both communities how can I identify from which community they came from for adding them to correct circle?
Is there anyway to get gtalk with video chat working with cm7? I thought there was an apk somewhere in the development thread but I cannot find it via the search function and after perusing through 35 pages I give up.....
Disregard.... of course I found it 2 min after posting this.
Can u post it for those of us who can't seem to find it ? Thanks

I would also like to know which one you are using
I have tried a few and they weren't that good. I was thinking that G+ was suppose to have a feature on mobile to be able to do voice chatting. But I have yet to find that option.
Hey all,
I am a Web site developer and because of this I control a bunch of Twitter and Facebook accounts for various websites and clients.
I need social apps that Allow more then one account. The only one I have found and have used is Tabr and is ok but I need something better.
Also, are there any social apps that let you actually manage your data? I want to be able to add users, find users, manage pages, etc. I have not found app that allows too much.
Thanks, I really appreciate the help.

Thanks, I will try that again. I know I tried it at one point but can't recall why I did not keep it.
Thanks for the reply

Dear xda-team,
is there any possibility to filter the news page by multiple tags?
I would like to configure my account (web and xda premium app!), to only show xda news and forum-links.
Basically make use of the new news section as if it were the old
There is just too much noise within the linked articles and the xda premium app just shows the xda news, not forum-links anymore...
Thanks!
[If this question was asked somewhere else, please integrate my post into that thread, could not find anything with the "uncommon" terms xda, news, portal, new...]
*bump*
Any answer on this or please a hint where this question / suggestion will get a reply?
@FosCoJ,
Please use the feedback/recommendations thread for your requests for new features - they'te more likely to get noticed that way.

Nookie
