combined external battery plus wireless charger

I got my nexus 5 (32gb white) last week and love it. I am searching for an exteranlnrechargable battery and found Anker Astro Series to be very nice. I am also in search of a wireless charger and some products could be found in different threads. I do not know if it is possible to combine the two functions into one. Please tell me if you have any ideas and suggestions. Thank you.

Don't own one myself, so i did just that just now.

Don't buy this one I just sent it back it isn't good as a overnight charger causes the phone to get very hot and reboot then starts to drain your battery down.

Thanks. It looks very nice. $55 is not very expensive. I assumed that it is compatible with Nexus 5 since it listed Nexus 4 in its specification. Any experiences with this charger?

I've been looking at getting one of these to use overnight and then take it with me for trips for the n5 and n7. Anyone else have experience with these types of chargers? If I plug it into a wall will it charge my n5 and the brick or will it charge the brick first then the phone or visa versa?

Lugulake Qi Charger/Power Bank. Combines both functions into one and can even charge another phone via USB while your phone is charging on the Qi pad. Heard it was really good.

I was seriously considering the Anker Astro E5 15000mAh External Battery until I wanted a wireless charger. Thanks for your comments.

It looks like it can charge phone both wire and wireless. So just give me one more option when I am not in a rush since I am little bit worried about the slim micro-usb of the phone.

What was the choice?

Hello everyone,
I hope to buy a power bank for my new Nexus 5.
I have made many search and I found that all power bank provide more that 1.2 A as output.
I noticed that the Nexus 5 official charger provide 1.2 A as output. So if I will buy a power bank that provides 2A or 3A, this will make problems for the phone battery ??
It is real that the important amperage charge the phone very fast, but this will not make problems for the battery ??

So the thing is, I wanted ro buy a quick charge adaptor for my zenfone...so I needed to know which adaptor should I buy ???? Will Qualcomm certified charger work on my device???
Or I have to buy some other adaptor
And my phone supports quick charge...

yes any old quickcharge 2.0 charger should work.

Charger stopped working

so my charging adapter doesn't work anymore,the cable is fine though.It's really hard here in my country to find genuine htc accessories ,can i use another phone charger(does not support quick charge though and it's a sony xperia charger) for the time being and are there any alternative branded charger i can buy which is good enough for htc 10?

I use Anker charger and cable with the 10. They work perfectly fine, quick charge also works.

okay so i literally looked everywhere for an Anker charger but couldn't find it anywhere,although they had a Samsung adaptive fast charger for 2900tk (around 35 dollars). well i'm not sure how good or bad it'll work with htc 10 since it uses Samsung's quick charge technology not Qualcomm. Should i get it? need your opinion guys.

Looking to buy a cable only for charging the OPO

I'm looking to buy a power-only microUSB cable to charge my OnePlus One as in my experience, power-only cables have charged my phone much faster than cables that transfer data as well (and this includes the stock charger). I have a tiny micro USB cable (about 10 cm) so I'm looking to buy something longer. Which cables would you recommend?

I have purchased the flipkart smartbuy USB cable worth something around 200₹. Using the original charger, the current output is around 1800-1900 amps. So works fine and take 1.5hours to completely charge phone from 0 to 100%. Here's the link

Go for the MI USB cable. That thing is lit !

i've bought a "Rampow" cable of 2 meters from amazon, and i advice everyone to get one, it's a very good quality cable, supports fast chargind, and the best of the best it has a life time warranty, a very good brand. They also have a 1 meter cable but i chose a 2m one because i want to be freeee in my bed lool. With the app "Amper" and with the original charger i get 1700mA because the phone is being used, but when it's shut down it supports 2A

You get 2A but minus the amps that the phone consumes when it's on you'll get 1600-1700 at the begining and the more the battery is charged the less you will get because the more the battery is charged the more it becomes like a resistance so it will get less amps.
The cable i'm talking about is like that too, you can even check the reviews on the net

Even TugaPower™ O (LineageOS 15.1 based ROM) gives full 2A charging current, and available regardless of screen status (on or off) when charging. This is an uncommon feature, and not present in all ROMs. Be aware that you must have a decent cable/charger (possibly the original ones), or you will experience slow charge, caused by random fluctuations in charging current.

On Amazon you can buy chargers from Anker they are a good brand and there is currently on on sale that should work well (i think it is called Anker Nano II) though maybe it is cheaper to buy a eu to us charge adapter xD. Thank you I didn't know these other 30W chargers would work, I thought was something special for Xiaomi.
I do have an EU adapter but that makes the huge power brick even bigger
