So a couple of days ago in the Do you over protect? thread, I was very blasé about not using any type of screen protection and I thought I might be inviting fate so I quickly scrabbled to the Zagg Nexus page as I've heard very positive reviews about them. I paid my €24.99, sat back for a couple of days and it arrived today...
First impressions were of utter disappointment, right off the bat it feels cheap, you can't run your hands over it smoothly as it generates too much friction. Secondly I noticed that there was a huge 'L' shaped defect on the front of it.

On closer inspection I saw a score along the bottom of it as well.
I didn't fit it to the phone, obviously, and have since contacted Zagg for a full refund. I can appreciate this is a manufacturing defect but for €25 I was expecting something really special. It doesn't even look like it'll be 100% invisible as it claims, it's very bumpy.
Needless to say I won't be buying from Zagg again. I've been over to ProtectionFilms24 and bought the Vikuiti screen protector for the Nexus which is an amazing screen protector. I've had one on my HD2 and it was robust, removable and was wipe clean on both sides so you could reapply any time you wanted.
Am I being too hard on Zagg, or are they really as good as people say? I must say I can't remember the last time I opened an accessory and was so disappointed. I can't understand how people say they are so good.
it's pretty known that zagg has an orange peel feel. it actually works really well as i have one on my phone if you dont mind the orange peel feel.
looks like the L shape is just a defect and can happen to pretty much any protector.
I've used Zagg on basically all my phones. You have to give it several days to lose that 'sticky' feel, and then it is very smooth, IMO.
I recently had my Galaxy Nexus in a sports armband and the plastic stuck to the Zagg and caused an air bubble. Because of this, I removed it and much prefer the phone with no screen protector at all.

Is the colour saturation affected by the Zagg? They look and feel so 'cheap' I'm almost inclined to think so.

Odd... I had a Zagg on my Incredible for 1.5 years and it never lost the tacky feeling...or the odd semi-ripples. And it wasn't a poor install as the Zagg rep at the stand did it, and a different one said it was normal. :-/
To be fair... it did a nice job keeping it safe.
*brohoof*
No they don't seem to affect the colors on the screen. I've had one installed on several different phones and they never had the sticky feeling go away. But they do protect the screen very well.
I just installed an XOSkin protector to my Gnex and I like it a lot better than the Zagg ones.
I bought the zagg full body protector i only used the body protector and get rid of the screen protector within minutes.. truth be told a 5$ matte screen protector will look and feel better than a 25$ zagg screen protector on your screen ( just saying my opinion thou) and trust me it is a 100 times easier to install..mainly if u have no previous experience with it..
I always though their screen protector sucked. Better off with the eBay ones at least they feel smooth. And some are really clear.

+1 on the XOSKin. I wasn't sure either when my wife and I got our new Nexii, so I put a Zagg on hers right away because they had them at Best Buy, and she's clumsy and I didn't want to wait. For comparison sake, I ordered an XOSkin for mine and waited patiently for it to arrive.
I can't even tell the XOSkin is on mine, but her Zagg is so obvious with the excessive orange peel, and the way it doesn't cover the entire face of the phone causes dust and crud to build up around the edges near the front camera/earpiece. It just looks super tacky. I've asked her multiple times if I can buy her an XOSkin to replace the Zagg, but she doesn't seem to mind it.
Well Zagg have a 45 day no quibble returns policy, I emailed them earlier I'm just waiting on a reply it's defective so hopefully it'll be hassel free getting my Pennies back. I'll stick with what I know, the 3M Vikuiti it's a fantastic protector.
I got this orange crap effect with Zagg too, hated it.
Getting an XO Skins screen protector instead, they advertise no orange peel which everyone says is true.
I've always used Zagg screen protectors. They're far from "invisible" (soon to hopefully be fixed with the expansion of their new Zagg HD line.)
They do suffer slightly from a slight tacky feeling. The best way I've found to fix that is regularly (once a day or so.) wipe your screen down with a phone wipe. Preferably a high percentage Isopropyl Alch. wipe. After a week or so the tack feeling is completely gone and the protector is still just un-scratchable as it's ever been.
I've never had any issues at all. Granted I put them on all day long for my customers (US Cellular Rep). I've gotten very skilled at application of these suckers.
Horrible, horrible things. Resistive to touch and the orange peel effect distorts the screen slightly. I had one on my HTC Sensation and took it off within days.
Terrible
When I first bought my htc desire I ordered the zagg screen protector, it looked horrible and there is so much friction that it just doesn't feel natural at all.
It was also far from invisible... so no I don't think you were being too harsh on Zagg!
Hate it
I am active so I like to use an armband with my phone. The screen protector sticks to the clear plastic of ANY armband...which pretty much destroys the screen protector and the armband. It is a problem that Zagg knows of, but they haven't bothered to come up with a solution.
I have used other screen protectors that do not suffer this problem with my armbands.
Zagg works well if installed correctly. Just blows if you get lint or dust under it. When installing .

almost bought the zagg. thankfully i read this post before
I would rather stick a piece for tyre to screen than have to use Zagg again
I haven't used a zagg on my gnex but I have tried it on other devices and installed on a couple of friends devices.
In my opinion the shields for the back is ok if you want a little extra grip and for that very reason I will never use one for my screen again. To sticky for my taste.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
My opinion on Zagg shield is that they are difficult to put on the screen (atleast for me) but once it is on there pure magic! after you give it a week to settle in, and it loses that sticky orange peel feeling it is great! and your phone just feels safer

Just a heads up
I was in a local mall in New Hampshire, USA looking at cellphone cases for my vibrant at one of those kiosk and noticed two more booths was an Invisible-shield booth with demonstrations...ect
Long story short i picked up a full body InvisibleSHIELD for $25 and they installed for $5 bucks and did a great job.
many people have complaints with with invisible shield. the main problem is that it gets dirty easily

It does seem to have a slight sticky feel, I figured its because it takes 24-48 hours to fully cure
Is this how it gets dirty?

Well ill see, if i dont like ill just remove.
Whats a better alternative if i decide to remove?
My invisible shield is clean all around basically... but I didn't know anything about zagg when I got it.
Zagg seems to be getting some bad reviews on this forum. I bought it the day I ordered my Vibrant and installed it the day I received it. Back looks awesome, and it is not nearly as slippery as the back cover alone. Front however.... zagg is slightly narrower than the screen, and it is bugging me. Also, it is far from invisible on the front, but I guess I will live with it rather than having my screen scratched. What really sucks is that the "full body cover" does NOT cover the corners nor the bezel, and we know what happens to these phones if you drop them.
I will have my case soon, as I planned - I put the zagg on so my phone does not get scratched with the particles that get under the case. Once I have the case on, I will feel a bit more comfortable handling the phone.
I had a BSE(bestskinsever.com) on my iPhone screen for 2+ years. I took the back skin off because of the "dirt" issues and because it didn't stay on the rounded edges very well. I just applied a skin to my Vibrant. As far as I know, BSE are identical to Zagg/Invisible Shield, but around 1/3 or 1/2 the cost. Some people don't like them, but it gives me peace of mind to know my screen is more protected.
I brought the T-Mobile case the first day I got my Vibrant. After two months I decided to get the Invisible Shield for the back. The phone itself is big enough already, I dont need any extra bulk feel too it. For the Screen Protector I'm using Realook which is alot better then Clearfreak I had at the beginning.
As someone posted, the Invisible Shield doesnt protect the Chrome or Edges around the phone.
My second day with it. Now tht its fully cured
The back feels great
The screen not to much. Its somewhat finger print resistant but at the same time playing FPS game like nova you fingers dont slide as good on screen and has kind of a rubbery feel.
How does Realook feel is it a harder surface?
Realook is hard and not sticky at all

Yea woke up this morning "day 3" and picked up phone and its not sticky anymore.
Im really liking this.
With the invisibleshield on the back the battery cover feels solid and gives the phone an overall solid feel to it.
Also the battery cover comes off easier now
I might remove screen protector though IDK. Im more worried about the plastic back cover scratching. The screen was more for reducing fingerprints than actual scratching , im mean its gorilla glass and all. I never had any issues with my N1.

Thanks for the heads up if i decide to remove the one on my screen now ill give that a shot
For the Screen Protector, get the Realook. It feels and look like nothing is there....
So i took off my front piece i hate it. Left the back piece because i like the way it feels and still protects back from scratches.
Got a realook SP just finished installing and yup its 10 times better than invisible shield SP like others said it doesn't feel really any different than it does without one on
Dang, shoulda bought Realook, it is soooo much cheaper than the one I bought. The brand I got is good (it's not a Zagg brand), and I have no complaints, but I paid 20 bucks a piece for them (I have two Vibrants, one for me and one for the wife )
You can get a 2 pack of these Realook Screen protectors from Amazon.com for 11 bucks shipped.....coulda saved myself 35 bucks
Learn from your mistakes.
I got zagg too. I'm not hating it but definitely would like to save some money...
Yeah, I also got the invisible shield but I just ordered the realook sp a couple days ago for the front.
If you want an awesome screen protector that has the hardness feel of the bare screen then you want this one. It's 3 for 7 bucks and it feels so much better than all those expensive Invisible Sheilds and such. Those leave a crappy feel or funky haze after they dry. This thing is so bad ass I felt I needed to let everyone in on it. I've had for a couple of months now and no scratches. I also put one on my wifes evo. Enough here's the link.
http://www.amazon.com/GTMax-LCD-Scr...WI02/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1293259085&sr=8-2
Edit- Had to order more of these for a replacement phone and found out that the protectors advertised here and sold by Efforcity are the wrong ones. You have to click the part that shows ones that are sold by other companies and you have to get them from Bargain Cell. I just got mine in finally and Bargain Cell is the only company that sells them.
Thanks. I have a Zagg InvisableShield now and I do like it, but this is cheap enough to see if it is worth having. The great thing about Zagg's screen protectors is that they are lifetime warrantied so you only have to buy 1 per device. After that just pay shipping and you get a brand new one.
I've been using MobileXS Screen Guardian Mirrored HTC EVO screen protector for about 2 months now. Feels like glass, very slick and not stick at all.
When the screen is on its really clear and when the screen is off it's almost a perfect mirror. I bought two thinking it would scratch easily so far not a single scratch. Oh... and there washable and reusable. There a little more costly at 25$ a pop, but after two months and no scratches or wear I think its a good deal.

Martin Fields. They cost a fortune but is the absolute best.
I like the one that seidio sells had mines on for about 3 months still looks invisible.
Swyped from Eva my Mynion running Myn's RLS4.95!
I've used an Invisible Shield on the last three phones I've had.
As long as you get it put on properly, they last forever.
I usually shill out the few bucks to have the guy at best buy do it since if they screw it up, they have to put a new one on.
I got the one from the OP yesterday and put it on. I like the feel of it, but it is a fingerprint and finger oil magnet. It also doesn't cover the whole screen. There are small strips on each side longways that are not covered. I liked my Zagg InvisibleShield because it didn't attract this stuff and covered the whole screen. The only thing I didn't like about Invisible is the rubbery feel of it. Good thing they have a lifetime warranty. I got a new one on the way for only the cost of shipping.
There really aren't any instructions for this one, I just received mine today. Do you use any soapy water or anything? I;m going to install it in a steamy bathroom.
I am not familiar with that one. I had one of the SGP protectors and I liked it but it scratched too easily. I use the bodyguardz. It offers the same protection as the invisible shield but I like the feel of it better. They have a dry apply version available now. I have just ordered one of the wrap sol protectors. I will let you know how it compares.
Sent from this here Evo!
I use Reallook. I had one on my vibrant and now on my evo. They are pretty cheap on amazon. It covers the whole face and is unnoticeable. Also reusable, and easy to apply
I actually bought the screen protectors listed by OP.
It was nice because they actually sent me NINE screen protectors, hah. The texture and clarity is identical to the stock glass.
im about done with screen protectors in general. today at work i got a bit of paint over spray on my screen protector "phanton skinz" so i used a bit of alcohol & nail polish removed mixed with warm water to remove it and it totally jacked the protector up. i have this horrid film on it now and im pissed. these things are suppose to be indestructible. so like an ass i ordered one more just now and after that im done with them in general. next time ill but a dry application cheapy.
i wish they made the evo with gorilla glass and i wouldn't even bother.
I use Screenpatronus... good product, good price.
So I went to a Verizon store to get the gel case since I don't like the portfolio case (just too bulky for me) and of course they didn't have it in black so I decided to just pick up the 3 pack screen protector. Got back to my desk and removed the original plastic that i had kept on since last Thursday and discovered that the screen protector doesn't actually cover the entire screen, looked like crap and so I decided to go back and return it. Has anyone ordered the Zagg one yet? I have a Zagg screen protector on my Ipad and love it but want to hear some opinions before rushing in case someone has any bad feedback.

Just noticed that Phantom Skinz has their screen protector out. They have been my favorite protector for years now. Mainly cause they do not have that orange peel effect.
Only reason why i havent pulled the trigger is that I can't find a coupon code. There's almost always one available.
Thanks I'll check it out.
Have not tried the ZAGG one, I like their protectors. I have installed the Skinomi one, they are my current fav when it comes to screen protectors. Covers the screen like it should be.. I have seen friends run into your situation before with cell phones, whatever protectors they buy at the verizon stores they just dont cover the whole screen and just dont fit or look good.
Side topic - I am not a case fan cause adding size, but i like full protection from basic things, so I get screen protector, and I usually design a nice back skin... Anyone seen any skin sites that support XOOM yet?... Skinit/DecalGirl do not yet.
I'm someone who has never, ever used a screen protector on my mp3 players/phones. Can you let me know if the Zagg/Skinomi protectors:
1. Are truly invisible? You don't notice that they're on at all?
2. Significantly reduce fringerprints?
3. Make the screen less glossy at all?
4. Are easy to take on and off?
5. Are the Zagg full body ones worth it? You really can't tell it's on?

This generally applies to all screen protectors -
1. never 100% invisible but you shouldn't be able to tell from a distance there's one on. The biggest problem is "orange peel." Some manufacturers do a better job of it than others.
2. Yes, almost all of them do wonders for finger prints as well as face smudges (for phones.)
3. Again, most do make it less glossy. Some are more reflective.
4. The Zagg and Phantomskinz types are not easy to remove. They dry on to your device but will not leave a residue. Technically they say you can reattach it but I doubt it.
5. The full body's are great for protecting your device from scratches. I have found that over time dust sticks to the edges and will make it more an more obvious.
Long story short, they're great and give very good piece of mind. On the other hand, full body skins will make your device too big for things like Moto's portfolio case (educated guess but it's been that way for everything else.)
Thanks for the answers! I'm strongly considering getting one now.
I got the vzw screen protector too. I was thinking the same thing, why doesn't it cover the whole screen? Than it dawned on me. How well would the front facing camera work if it was covered? I vid chat so that made up my mind.
All of the other screen protectors have a hole cut out for the camera. The one for the OG Droid even has one cut out for the stupid LED light. lol
I don't see that as an excuse for Verizon not to cover the whole screen with their screen protector. That's a deal breaker for me. I might go with the Skinomi since it's cheaper than the Invisible Shield (Never liked Invisible Shield, anyways.)
I can't stand the Verizon scren protectors. I have a Zagg on my Droid X but I ordered a Bodyguardz protector for the Xoom. Appears to be as good or maybe slightly better than the Invisibleshield. There is a video out there. Ultimate I pad scratch test iirc.

I got back in town to find I had a package from Bodyguardz. I got one for the Xoom and one for my Droid X, actually the Droid X was a pack of two. First time I used this brand and so far I like it better than the Zagg. Less orange peel, fit is a little better, and the price is good. I took the Invisibleshield off the X and installed the Bodyguardz on both pieces. I'll see how things go.

NOTE: Before anyone else complains about the length of something they read voluntarily or tells me to "Just use (insert one of a thousand brands I don't have the money spend on to see if it's better than the one I have)", Here's the sum of what I'm saying... My humble and entitled opinion is that XO Skin is by far the best "skin". It certainly is my favorite. Ok, happy reading! :winky face to show I'm not all that upset about anything, just using too many words:
I have revolutionized the way I (and I assume plenty of people to follow if enough people see this) will forever use screen protectors on all of my gadgets. I've done it successfully with my Galaxy Nexus (albeit with the less desired products for what is described here) and it works perfectly. I've never seen this idea talked about, mentioned, or anything else along those lines, so I feel like this deserves a brand new post.
I've been faced with the same dilemmas with screen protectors as many of the rest of you have. Dry installation protectors peel, scratch, get dusty, and so on.. Wet installation protectors have the dreaded orange peel effect, and the seemingly unavoidable "rubbery" texture, which makes gaming near impossible, and even at hotter screen temperatures during prolonged use it makes multigestures fail. So where is the middle ground?
Well, without any further hesitation, I share with you,
THE BEST solution for screen protection:
****This solution does involve the use of a wet install screen protector. If you have any hang ups about using wet installation protectors at all in the first place, if maybe you're unsure about using liquid near you're device, find out more information about them, maybe take it to a Best Buy or your carriers store, the people there have lots of experience putting these on and can help you with understanding if you want to go through with the process or not.
***Please follow all directions and instructions included with your device and any accessories you use. I am not responsible for any damages or otherwise that happen to your device.
I currently have a ZAGG Invisible Shield as the first layer of main protection on my Galaxy Nexus. The installation went beautifully, but the orange peel and rubber effects are forever present. As a solution to this, I simply installed one of Verizon's glare reduction screen protectors over the top, and the orange peel is all but invisible now (finally) and the rubber effect is now outright gone. And the touch screen sensitivity is completely unaffected. I did extensive tests to see if this was at ALL affected, and to my amazement, it was still perfect. Using just the accessories I had laying around that I was unhappy with, I combined them to create a screen protector that now literally has shock protection along with the very best of both worlds from wet and dry installation protectors.
To get an unbelievably smooth solution, I am going to install a mirror finish dry protector, which removes the rubber grip problem, over a wet install XO Skin, which eliminates the orange peel effect the ZAGG still suffers from but still has the rubber grip by itself.
Add that to the XO's full body protection skin for the rest of the GNex, and i may just have found a solution to leaving those bulky cases at home.
This should work with any combination of your favorite screen protectors! Mix and match to find your favorite pair and tell me about it!
(Note: I'm waiting until I get a replacement phone because of unrelated backlight issues before I go forward with the full blown install. I'll post pictures when I get it all done!)
*****UPDATE: the latest stupid thing I did to my Galaxy Nexus was this: I was mindlessly twirling a Bic Lighter attached to a retractable leash (called a lighter leash, it's like that thing for janitors keys, only it's for a lighter. They're quite handy when you're not an idiot)around in bed with my GNex laying right next to me. Before I realized what I was doing, *WHACK*! I smacked my screen so hard with the jagged metal striker wheel the sound scared the crap right out of me. Then I DID realize what I had done and it scared the crap out of me all over again. If I had done what I did without any protection, I absolutely would have busted my screen, or at the very least gouged the living hell out of it. A dry protector alone would have probably left me to the same fate. The ZAGG or XO Skin would have undoubtedly been permanently blemished. A waste of an expensive piece of space rubber. But to my relief, the inexpensive top protector took the force of the hit, and left the underlying ZAGG and phone screen untouched. This along with the rest of the reasons ive listed has made this solution a permanent part of my gadget protecting regimen. (pics to follow if I can find my point-n-shoot.)
Please remember to come back and give me a Thanks if this guide helped you out!

Interesting idea! Wouldn't you still run into these problems having the dry protector as the top layer though?

Yes, but I feel much better about replacing the dry ones while the wet one continues to protect the screen. I HAVE at one time or another scratched my screen between installing screens. Now that's gone too!

I get the same results you have just using Skinomi, but to each his own.
What do you do for a worn ZAGG- I'm quite fond of mine however... Different things (Cough) a puppy... have scratched the screen a good bit. Im wondering if I can restore it anyway.
just xtremeguard worked the same for me...
and it cost a buck...
but everyone has their own choice

I had a few dents and scratches on my ZAGG too. Not puppy damage, but a few scars. Putting a dry screen protector over it and doing what I had to do to get rid of the air bubbles inadvertently made the dents and scratches mold to the firm underside of the plastic screen protector. It looks brand spankin new.

I also use Zagg. Works well for me.

No problem! I'm just glad to be the one giving the help instead of the one needing it. Let me know what happened if you wouldn't mind.

To be honest, using any water based protection is somewhat of a hassle if you mess up on something. I prefer the dry solution, you don't have to worry much except for the bubbles or alignment.
Interesting idea, never tried it, but I think twice the screen protector is twice the headeck ,
Myself I have used most brands of screen protectors, after struggling and wrestling with the zagg wet annd the dry zagg that I have used for a few months they are all worthless to me, on my white iPhone 4s the zagg start to turn yellow by the buttons after a few weeks of use, and so on . I now have an unopened Galaxy Note Zagg at my house unopened, which I will probably never used worth $40, I had it with all of them, after all this I have learned that the cheap screen protectors that you get from the cheap chineess cell phone accessories web sites are the best, they feel like glass they cost $2 $3 or less and they do the best in the long run, they are also the easyest to install, that is my opinion.
Please escuse my bad spelling, ESL

I dont care about a few scratches. So I dont use
just use an iShieldz instead
With Gorilla Glass no need to worry at all
Personally i think those cheap protectors you find on amazon do the job just fine. Its how you take care of it that makes them last.
Thanks!
Got my SGP/SPigen Ultra Nano Clear install on Friday.
I'm generally very good at dry protector installs. I've done it many times and know all of the tricks.
I have a couple of issues with this product.
First, it's so thin that's it's very hard to take off the top and bottom protective screens. I was able to get it done, but I bent the plastic a tiny bit down by the home button and it sticks up a little bit there. That's really a non-issue and isn't real noticeable.
Next, and more of a pressing issue, is that the protector scratches VERY easily. I keep it in my pocket (a pretty clean pocket) and there are already a bunch of scratches on the protector. With the screen on bright, you can't really tell, but with it off, they are pretty clear.
If I have that many scratches in a 3 days, it'll probably be near unusable in a month.
I generally don't like screen protectors on gorilla glass, but I know the glass can scratch. But it's kind of silly to have something over the top of it that's already scratched up. Might as well just take a chance on the gorilla glass not scratching then.
Anyone else notice that these scratch very easily?
Have had it on almost 2 weeks now and no scratches at all. I would maybe try another one since you do get 3.
mine has some but not noticable at all unless u are looking for them. ive had mine one for about 2 weeks with a case.
I've had mine on for 5 days.. I usually find these things a complete pain to install, but this one went on first try. Mine has no scratches whatsoever, crystal clear and covers enough of the glass in my opinion. I agree it was a little bit difficult to separate the protective back layer when installing, but if you just pull it from the two tabs (top and bottom protector tabs), it will come off.
As I said, it's not overly noticeable, but with the screen off, you can easily tell there's quite a bit of scratching.
I purchased this via ebay (authorized reseller). They just wrote back and gave me a very fair offer. If I pay the $2 difference, they'll ship me out the ultra crystal product.
I took them up on their offer.

Ultra Crystal? You sure that's what they offered? That product was discontinued a few weeks ago because it peels up at the edge. It was replaced by the Ultra Nano, and the soon to be released Curve Crystal (the true successor)

Good point. Their email is a bit confusing, but I think they did mean the curve crystal.
keep us updated but im loving my nano so far.
Thanks for the review! I don't have the screen protector but I've been reading a lot of posts/reviews and it seems that the issues you mentioned regarding the tricky installation and frequent scratches are rather common. At the same time, users appear to be divided on the product...
In any case, hope things work out with the seller :fingers-crossed:
I have this screen protector and love it. It's very thin and easy to install. I can't even tell it's there. It doesn't peel up on the edges and works well with the cases that I have tried. I have had it for 2 weeks with no scratches. I don't put my phone in my pocket though.

You definitely can't tell it's there, it doesn't pull up, it feels like your finger is on glass and the fact that it didn't go all the way to the edges is minimally bothersome.
Install is tough and scratches are the deal breaker for me.
Will update if they do or don't honor their offer.
had a really easy time with this one. no lint at all underneath, looks barely visible, so far so good. just bought neo hybrid. with kyanROM this phone is just the best.

I love this screen protector. Came with my sgp ultra thin case (which I also love)
Thin, perfect cutouts, absolutely no orange peel, no distortion..
It does feel grippy AT FIRST. Use it for a bit and it feels like glass again
Very happy with mine. I haven't installed a cover in a couple years and I got the first one on fine and it is only visible if you look around the edge. With a Diztronic case, there is barely any exposed surface in the front. It was a bit tacky at first, but it quickly went away after using it.
I was going to buy the new full screen version, but I think this one might be better for future cases I might get.
i am not happy with this product, got it cause it sounded good and looked good but it doesnt last. i received/installed on 7/24/12 and not long after having it on my phone i started noticing small scratches from the few coins i would have in my pocket, then over the weekend i had it in the pocket of my cargo shorts with my pocket knife clipped on there aswell i pulled my phone out to mess with it and the protector was scratched to holy heck and starting to come loose around the home button, i carried my DX like this during the time i had it with no problems using a Zagg. if this is how "good" their product is i wouldnt buy anything else from them.
