I am trying to go back to stock on my HOX. Need to return it since I received one with the faulty wifi antenna. MY CID is HTC_621. Ive tried Europe, Asia HK, and Asia-TW.
I would greatly appreciate it if someone can put the correct RUU for me.
Thanks

That CID is for TWM_TW.
The only thing I could find is
PJ46IMG_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_TWM_TW_1.29.921.7_Radio_1.1204.104.14_release_259286_signed.zip
This is NOT the RUU, but the full ROM zip.

BUMP!

I started out with an unlocked and unrooted Vodafone France branded HOX (CID VODAP203) with S-ON running stock ICS.
Foolishly, I assumed I needed to update the HBOOT in order to receive the official Jellybean upgrade. So I downloaded the appropriate firmware.zip from here and flashed it using fastboot. That procedure completed successfully, and the phone rebooted.
Since then, it has been stuck at the Beats Audio screen, which is what I suppose is called a "bootloop".
I tried using the correct RUU from htcruu.com, but that throws up an error about the wrong HBOOT version. I can't reproduce the message exactly; there is insufficient charge to try again.
I had HBOOT 0.43 before; after flashing, I have 1.36. Is there any way out of the bootloop? I don't mind wiping the phone.
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated! :cyclops:

I can't seem to find a JB RUU for my CID. It's not listed on the Official OTA collection page either.
Try to reflash.

Got it.
The phone had gotten locked again, that's why trying to flash anything resulted in an error. Feeling very stupid now.
Got the unlock code from HTCDev, unlocked phone, flashed boot.img and recovery.img from rom.zip retrieved from stock RUU.
Phone is now back to normal.
Thanks a lot!
Super.
Enjoy JB.

Err.. I'm actually back to ICS; couldn't find the stock JB ROM.
Now I'm just being greedy, but would you perhaps know where I might find the JB RUU for my CID? The OTA was released in November, but it hasn't been added to the collection here on xda.
y dont you just flash stock recovery and update to JB since the ota is out as you said ?

I'm not getting the JB OTA when I force it to check for updates. I only get an update from ICS 4.03 to 4.04.
I guess I'll just need to keep trying everyday

Why just send email to HTC with question from where to find appropriate RUU because you did not receive an ota?
Or send it to your local services center to upgrade it?

Hi All...
I just rooted my HTC One X and installed a rom succesfully..
The only problem is: I wanna go to custom rom (just to check if the JB update has arrived for my CID), the only detail is that I lost my boot.img backup and my nandroid backup.
Is there a way I can get a generic boot.img??
My CID es BSTAR301 from Mexico, carrier Iusacell.
Version Main says: version-main: 2.17.513.2
Any idea or suggestion???
I've searched for a RUU/nandroid backup, but none for this particular CID/Version main, the only RUU i've found is for
version mainver: 1.29.515.11, carrier Entel, Chile...
Thanks in advance.

I can't help you much from my phone but you're going to need to reflash your phone back to stock to check whatever that you need to see.
Try scrolling through the main development threads and there should be (hopefully) a guide to help you with that.

Thanks...
Hello everyone,
I have an international HTC One X with CID HTCCN701, and I would like to install CM10.1.
I am not a noob , and I have already installed a Jelly Bean ROM after unlocking. However, I am currently on hboot version 1.12 S-ON Unlocked, and I could not find a hboot that is for my CID which fits the requirements (Version 1.28 or higher)
Moreover, though I know how to flash hboot, it would be great if anyone can provide a method to update hboot without changing the present ROM, recovery, and data on the device.
Thank you!
P.S. Please do not tell me to search; I cannot find a firmware here for HTCCN701
Does anyone have a solution?
Check for a newer hboot here

Thanks, but I already checked it, and I cannot locate HTCCN701

Is there 1.29 boot RUU for your device?
Or try this method, get back to stock with stock recovery, relock your bootloader then check for updates and update your device, and checl your bootloader version.

Hello everyone,
I have found a new firmware.zip for my phone.
However, because it looks suspicious, would someone please tell me how to verify if the zip is indeed real? (Not edited)

try to install it, if it fails to pass htc sig and cid check, it wont do any harm
Yes, I think there is 1.29 RUU, but isn't the hboot contained in it not up to date?
And, I have already checked for updates when I was on stock ROM back in mid June.

Thanks, but are you sure it will just refuse to flash if it is a fake? Because I saw on the forums that if a wrong firmware is flashed, the device could be bricked.
Another question is that is it possible to upgrade hboot without modifying system and data?

You would need s-off for it to flash if it's fake and upgrading the hboot doesn't wipe system or data , although unlocking the boot loader does

You can flash a signed RUU if you are S-On and bootloader locked with stock recovery.

Might I add the following ...recovery shouldn't matter AND the signed/encrypted ruu must be the same os/firmware (or higher) than what is currently installed.

Recovery shouldn't matter, but I have heard it won't work without it. It may be different now though.

I've been searching for hours how to get back to stock using RUU, but it seems there's no RUU for my One X:?

S-ON and unlocked

Haha, I spent a whole day searching for nandroid back-ups and RUUs, that's why I asked for a link. Thank you, anyway!
Edit:
I'm now using a custom Rom, and it's ok. I just wanted to go back to stock because custom roms gives me problems with hdmi wireless adaperts, and I thought that would solve the problem. Found out that one x is compatible only with the HTC media link, and not others wireless adapters
