Anyone here having problem with the search? Whenever I search, 'no result found' even if i'm searching for the most basic term used like google. I cleared data already still the problem persist. Can someone please help me? I tried crackberry forum and I can search but here in XDA, no luck.

where can a guy find some themes for aokp milestone 5 that work on the vivow
I asked the same question a few weeks ago....so head over to the themes and apps forum and check out the AOKP Themes thread. That should tell you what you need to know.
Sorry I didn't provide a link.... using my phone atm.

I don't believe that anyone has made one yet b/c they are trying to get everything running properly. I have read that knipp was working on theming everything to red instead of blue, I don't know anything about theming but from what I've read its a fairly tedious process

i've tried some of the themes for the gnex they install ok and theme ok but kills my lights on soft keys and kills the usb connect.

I'll let everyone know. But it'll have it's own thread in the themes section.

Every theme on rootz-team forum-aokp-themes and customizations work on our phone. And every device as long as they're compiled on official solo sources and not modified

EDIT: Here is a better thread to visit for this...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=25846541
Feel free to discuss device specific here....
Figured I'd get a thread going so we don't clog up aero's, bracket's or protekk's threads. Theme engine is officially live on cm9 and now AOKP... cm7 themes are working to an extent. Wanted to get this going to share what themes you've tried and how compatible it is. Specify whether you are on aokp or cm9, as they use different launchers.
There are 3 paid cm9 themes in the market by dev sonny sekhon (as of 5/9)... I haven't tested these, but you can read the play store comments.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonny.theme.onyx
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonny.theme.vivid
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonny.theme.lucid
Here's an xda thread I found with some compatible themes
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1641984
Confirmed that androidian and the purple holo theme work on cm9, so appropriate credit to the OP of the linked thread and most importantly the theme creators.
I've also confirmed that an old favorite of mine, simpleBLU is working OK, although there is overlap between 3g icon/arrows and dbm signal strength... this seems to be the biggest issue with GB themes as I'm trying them, being that ics combines those icons...

Hey guys N gals... Have had my. Sprint Gnex for about three weeks now and getting the hang of this bootloader and other stuff. Currently running some codename, so here's the Q. What kernel you running and why? What options do I have? Any feedback is appreciated.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Xparent ICS Tapatalk 2
Trinity. I like the color and its given me great performance with great battery so I haven't seen the need to try anything else.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Franco Kernel. I started using it because I had that is was amazing... I have to reckon that I'm not completely happy with it...
Next one I want to try is trinity, although I have already try it, but I didn't like the color so much, so it just last 5 minutes, but I want to give it another try.

Thanks for the replys people. Much appreciated, are there any battery saver specific kernels that you know of?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Xparent ICS Tapatalk 2
All kernels are pretty much the same. Just pick one and calibrate it. Change the governor. Undervolt it. Turn sync off if you don't need it underclock if necessary. My personal favorite is the samurai kernel as it is"specifically" made for the Sprint nexus. Although you can use them across all variants. There's is no one size fits all kernel no matter what they tell you.

Just tried flashing the samurai kernel and I was in a boot loop. Wiped cache and dalvik cache as well. What did i do wrong? Maybe bad download....?

Which one? What Rom. If you flashed the one in the very first post you flashed the wrong one. You need the one I posted at the last page or the second to last page. Sorry Earthbound had been MIA for a while.

This one works... no the other one was for stock android. But this one is for modded roms like cm 10. I will PM you the control app. But when the new one comes out it will be a paid app and you will have to purchase it.

Compile the stock tuna kernel from AOSP for maguro, toro, and toroplus, then diff them. I did this, and they were all exactly the same. Given this info, I don't see how one kernel can be built specifically for one of the three tuna devices. Granted, it may only be used and tested on one, but if all three kernels are the same, then built specifically for one means it should work on all of them.
any way you can pm me the control app, want to try out the kernel

I'm no kernel developer by any means. But this is what I was told by Earthbound who happens to be such. He tends to be right almost all of the time so I'm just reiterating. Was also why other kernels were on Linux 3.08 instead of the latest 3.31 (I think it was).
Sent From My Toro+ via RED Tapatalk
Latest stock kernel is 3.0.31
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get it to boot? I've wiped everything three times, and downloaded the rom twice to rule out a corrupt file.

It's a multicarrier Rom that installs using aroma. I had a nand so it wasn't a big deal it was just something to try. Running gruesomes Xperia Rom now.

I tried to run that rom about a week ago and had the same results.
Sent from my SPH-L710
Anyone else on here use screen cast and got it to run? It used to work on my note 2 which is why I bought it and then nothing anymore. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and nothing. Also on cm10.1 it used to work but would be inverted. Still that was better than nothing now it just won't start. And worst seems the developer has stop supporting it not too sure on that though. It used to work on my phone though I think its a kernel thing but not too sure if anyone has it working please tell me how or what your set up is. It wouldn't run when I was using synergy or cm10.1 or paranoid android any help is really appreciated .
