I'm using LT15i.
Yesterday I've unlocked my bootloader, flashed Doomlord (ICS) kernel with wifi modules and flashed JJ Hybrid ROM v3.1.
My problem is that I could not get a connection on whatsapp using 3g but only on wifi. I can surf, download apps from store using 3g. Is the problem has to do with my VPN settings or it's from the kernel/rom?
I used Whatsapp with JJ Hybrid ROM v3.1 on 3G with no problem. So it should not be due to the ROM. However, I was using sirkay's kernel.
I have fixed my problem.
Thank you for your reply. Much appreciated. That helps me eliminate one of the causes. After much researching, the source of the problem is due to APN setting. The rom might have messed up with my APN setting.
Hope this helps to anyone who encounter the same problem as mine.

I can connect to my WiFi, however, it frequently disconnects when signal is low and shifts to my mobile network... Didn't happen before when I was using the official Rom... I am now using the latest 2.4.0.1version, also, I've flash my radio to the latest 5.17.05.23. I thought the WiFi issue should have been fixed in this version??? Need help~ this is the only problem of this fantastic Rom!!!!

Anything??????:crying:
It's not a rom issue, but rather a kernel issue. I've tried to solve this partially with a couple of custom kernels. See my site for details.

Im sure there workin on the fix as we speak. The best bet is to install the latest xm kernel with the wifi fix or head over to kozmic for his wifi fix. it helped me tons. better then it use to be.

Like the problem, which doesn't occur at every phone, the fix doesn't work at all affected phones, too.
My bet is to wait for HTC to issue the fix. There is one concern, though - we might be waiting few months for that to happen (along with Sense 5 :laugh.
Until then, 3.14 works just as good!
EDIT: did you even read the whole post? He said that he tried latest XM and KK, but it didn't work.
I think I just will go back to 3.14 rom but I Loved the smoothness of 3.18 thats all it was pretty awesome ah welllll.
Thats true, Stick with a 3.14 base for now until a permanent fix is available

Wifi / Settings FC
I've tried flashing a couple of 4.2.2 roms (i.e PAcman and jellybeer), and I'm facing the same wifi issue, in addition to this, my settings keep force closing when wifi is selected. :/
However, everything works fine on JB 4.2.1 and below Roms.
Any suggestions??
Hi. I have been using jellytime 4.2.2 r11 for about 2 months now. And have had only the occasional force restart. Every time i loose signal, it comes up with a notification in the top notification bar saying so. But, since Tuesday, every time i loose connection, it now vibrates, and plays my notification tone out loud. It never used to do this. And now its getting me to the point of insanity. I did not change any settings as far as I know. I've searched the first 20 pages of Google looking for a solution to stop the vibrate and tone, but I could not find one. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Hello,
You need to tell that to the dev team of JellyTime 4.2.2. I think it is a ROM problem. FYI the most stable JellyTime 4.2.2 ROM is the r9.
Hope it helps.
Regards.
Thank you for the response.
I have messaged randomblame with my issue. Hopefully it can be resolved quick. If not, I'll go to r11.
Its strange that I haven't seen anyone else with this issue. Maybe I'm not seeing the setting for it.
Either way, thanks a bunch.

I've been using JellyTime 4.2.2 R11 from the time it was released by RB and I haven't had a problem with the Rom. In fact it's as good as a stable 4.2.2. Fast and reliable. The problems usually arise at the pre-flashing stages.

I just wanted to ask: what did you do before flashing the ROM? Full (data) wipe/factory reset + cache wipe+ dalvik wipe?
Just curious cos I've followed that procedure and it's limited if not eradicated all or any bugs usually reported for me personally
I've also had the occasional "loss of connection" but after flashing a new radio that sorted out my problems :victory:
Hope my input helps
Just before I flashed the ROM I had only just used aahk2. So I had not changed anything.
I have not flashed a radio for fear of bricking, although I may if that is what it takes.
I have not received a reply from randomblame.
All support is appreciated.

Hi guys,
i'm trying to reanimate mi Desire HD. Researches at this forum did not help, so i hope you can help me.
I have got some problems with my wifi signal when using custom roms. when i use this rom
HTML:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=840040
it works perfect. but at this rom i cant install fresh apps. so i think it could be a kernel issue.
a half year ago i installed the latest radio, version 26.17.14.11 but it didnt work for fixing the wifi problem.
i dont think, that the battery cover will be the problem, because wifi works perfect with the Revolution ROM.
has anybody an idea how i can fix that problem? or any links?
thanks for your help
greetings
Martin
