I was so disappointed on 4.0.4 they removed all the profiles except a On/Off. I was trying to port the files from 1.29. I tried to replace few files and libs. But it doesn't seems to get it enabled.

I am yet to see 4.0.4 but I would love to get the original beats profiles back off the 1.26
I know how to do that it's framework.jar editing...

Have you checked to see if the audio quality has been compromised by the new on/off profile?
If the quality has remained the same or has improved I would not bother porting or "hacking"
However if it has degraded then why on earth have HTC done this?!?
It's more the Beats headphone Profiles.. Sound was better for me with ubeats
Seems like there is a small decrease in performance after I replace those files. It might work properly once we get those settings back.

Is this just the one from 1.29? Is it possible to do the presets from 1.26 where it had studio and pro preset aswell?

Look on PocketRTA, many functions of sound analysis. Not free.
It work on my Artemis and not work on my HD. Attempt latest version, may be you're lucky.

Does it show anything more than -81dB for you?
-100db=realy 0db and 0db=100db.
it's up to 100 I have to play with this in the settings.
But it isn't recording any sound for me. Always at 0db. Did you buy the program?

You should choose option 10 for audio. This plus bass booster and equalizer enabled in dsp manager gets back the SRSWOWHD like sound from the DInc2 stock. Thanks to this CM7 is now my everyday ROM.

This ROM can be used as a daily but has a few issues.

In the notification bar do not change the network toggle from automatic to any other option or you will get constant FC until you wipe data

I did some closed beta testing for this and it's an amazing rom!! VERY different from what we're used to. Reminiscent of MIUI, I think....but with a splash of OG android. I really like this one!
