decibel-meter - Touch HD Themes and Apps

hi at all. sorry for my bad english.
I'm searching for a db-tool for the TouchHD,
to know how loud it is anywere ... for disco etc.

Would be intersted in too !

I do not think that the tiny microphone in the Blackstone will suffice as an accurate dB-meter.

would be cool to have this
if this comes i can finally test the db's in my car from my audio
two times rockford fosgate punch woofers 1000w rms
rockford backspeakers 180w rms
and compo set of phonocar
powerd by 2 ground zero amplifiers
i know its hard but dont know the decibels
really hope this is possible for our blackstone

for the iphone i saw this tool a few days ago, but i don't know the name

Look on PocketRTA, many functions of sound analysis. Not free.
It work on my Artemis and not work on my HD. Attempt latest version, may be you're lucky.

PocketRTA v1.3 work fine on my HD.

Does it show anything more than -81dB for you?

-100db=realy 0db and 0db=100db.
it's up to 100 I have to play with this in the settings.

But it isn't recording any sound for me. Always at 0db. Did you buy the program?

[REQ] Real (Hardware) Touch Pad for HD

Inspired by the zoombar projects (link below), I thought that it could be possible to convert the hard button area of the touch HD to a more useful thing: a touch pad.
I think we have enough room for left-right and also up-down movement. Also a double click could be considered as pressing the Enter button.
I believe we have skilled enough developers who can make this dream a reality (like XaKing and namuk).

Although im no developer, i'd love to see this!
Although, would it only enable in certain applications? Because i want to answer a call when one comes in and not be zooming! lol
Also, if i get a call in camera mode, will it detect this and revert the buttons?
It all comes down to the limits of our imagination. Maybe we could have a blacklist/whitelist approach, where we could define the applications for which this touch pad should be enabled. This could be in some conf file or registry.
But we need the real thing first, these nice little touches could come later.

My bought copy looks great. If you have problems with yours, I would suggest contacting the developers.
can you make some screens please?
Its because ur using an android device and not an iphone .
Joke joke... nah it looks about right to me.... :-/.
Sent from my iphone look a like powered by android!
If you use chainfire the textures might be downscaled depending on you config.
The screens look OK. There is just no antialiasing. And AFAIK devices like our phones do not support it at the moment. Have you seen some screens which look better ?

Our phones do support up to 16x msaa, use chainfire3d and enable 16x antialiasing and those edges will be smoothed out beautifully!

[Q] Which bluetooth headset do you use with your GNex?

I am currently using a Motorola H17txt. It worked great with my Droid X; however, with the GNex, I get what sounds like feedback (some squealing) in the earpiece that I didn't get when I used it with the Droid X. Prefer an A2DP one with an ear hook since I have yet to find one that's comfortable to wear without one. Thanks.
I use the motorola S305. Worked fine with my HTC Desire, but seems to drop connection with the GNex. Otherwise, sound quality is ok, very comfortable.
I use a Jawbone Icon, it works great.

Might have to get those for working out. Looking more for a mono A2DP one so I can listen to my Google Voice and text messages. Does anyone have the Motorola Elite Silver and Elite Flip? Those look pretty nice, but don't want to drop that much on something that might sound as bad on this phone as my H17txt do. Tried the Jawbone, but they hurt my ear too much. They never fit right, even with the earloop, so I can't utilize their technology and people on the other end have a hard time hearing me.

[Q] Need help testing MAME4Droid please

Hello, long-time reader but first-time poster here.
MAME4Droid has 3 different video render modes, with GL (Faster) theoretically the quickest. On my Xperia Play though the SW (+Threaded) mode is about 20% faster than GL (Faster).
Would anyone mind checking this on their Play please? I'm wondering if either my Play is on the way out, or if this happens for all Play users.
In the general settings you should enable 'Threaded sound' and 'Show FPS', and in the game settings set 'Video Sync = OFF'.
Thanks.
Anyone, please? Should only take 10 minutes to test.
Do you mean the 0.134 version?

Either version please, 0.134 or 0.37b5.
I've spoken to the author about this, GL mode should be much faster but it's slightly slower on my Play. Would be good if you could try it too, thanks.

And alien vs predator plays with no stuttering or slowdowns for me.
Captain America this has abit of stuttering and slow but playable
And superman plays awesome no slowdowns.

Z-W88 Cost-effective MP3 Player Stereo Sports Bluetooth Headset Headphone

Three words that stand out in that title; Cost-effective, sports & bluetooth. All things that I really want for a curricular activity. This set is made to resist moisture such as sweat and rain. It is not a bad option to look into if you are in the market for a bluetooth headset.
The fit was actually one my main concerns. In the past I tried the Motorola set that looks like this set and it was terribly uncomfortable. At the time I was working for a lawn care/ landscaping company as a Crew Leader and needed to be able to answer the phone at any given moment to speak with supervisors and the owner of the company. Before I ventured into the wireless headsets, I well, obviously was using wired sets and ended up tearing up too many to keep up with. Long story short I got tired of paying for new headsets because the number one issue was the wire getting in the way.
When I got a bluetooth headset it was like salvation. I was free! There were no more wires to get in the way, it was easy to wear and I got to listen to music all day long. This is where this headset can come in handy.
Life has changed a bit and I am no longer working for that company, but I do like to go jogging and again the wire was annoying at times. I love not having to worry about a wire. I look forward to using this set for future runs.
