Stock play music app - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hi everyone.
I finally got to root my phone,
But after installing aokp b38 I don't have the stock play music app anymore.
I tried going to the play store but it's not available in my country.
Can I get some help?

Did you flash Gapps? I think the Music Player was removed in the latest Gapps package..download it from the Play Store.

like stated above, I believe it was removed from the latest gapps. It has nothing to do with AOKP - they cannot include google apps in their rom due to legal reasons.
Just download it from the market.

I had this same problem but with Gmail. I flashed gapps with AOKP m4 and was missing gmail. Ended up reflashing gapps and it finally showed up.

Thats sorted it, again ... many thanks!
Had the same issue. Seems very few GAPPS were included in the lastest zip.
As stated earlier the Google apps like music player, video player etc. where removed from the ROMs at Google's request because of copyright / legal issues. Music is only available for US customers because of Googles Music cloud services only being available there. As soon as they become available in other countries I expect Google Music to be available there too. For now you can manualy install the apk that you can find all over the net or use market enabeler as stated before
Thanks.
I was looking for a centralized loacation for a US GAPPS, versus hunting each one down. I really like the option of a fulll ZIP.
If you know where I can get this, I would be very greatful.

[APP] S Suggest from the Galaxy S3

This app, S Suggest, is from the Galaxy S3 and currently is a way of browsing apps and those apps are all linked to the Play Store. This app features social connectivity through Facebook as well.
Simply install like any other apk...
It works on my GNex

Your welcome, but thank Sammy for not locking this app down like they did with S Voice, (Now you have to change your build.prop device name to GT-I9300 for S Voice to work)

Gonna go out on a limb and guess you changed your dpi. Changing it can cause play store compatibility issues.

Play store not showing Nexus devices

My play store doesn't show any devices for purchasing. If I click on any web links to the nexus 4, 7 , or 10 it just opens the play store app on my phone. I'm running the latest cm10 ROM (Oct 28) and I'm with telus in BC, Canada.
Is anybody else experiencing this?

Try clearing the "default app" data, that way when you click the link you can select a browser instead of the Play Store app.
Same here (Germany, jbsourcery rom). I can only see them in the web market on my computer. No clue why.

Do what wiredpirate suggested. Go to settings, apps, Play Store, and clear defaults then try the links again. Should work fine =]
forgot to mention to pick BROWSER after clicking the links. The devices won't show up in the play store app.

Because hardware not available for purchase via the app. Yep, it really is that simple- nothing wrong with your phone, that's just the way it is.
