CM9 nightly: Not picking up external SD - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

So I'm running the nightly and it won't read my sd card at all? Is this is a bug or is there a fix available?
Sent from my Galaxy SII T-mobile using XDA

Its still in development and its a known issue. Use astro file to read SD card

I actually fixed it lol I mounted the sd card in Recovery. Works great now. Might wanna share this and see if it works for other people

How can I make more space on the memory of my internal and external sd cards from my Samsung galaxy epic 4G touch

Wrong section bro. This is for the original Epic, with the physical keyboard. Just delete things you don't need?

microsd speed cap?

I have tested the read/write speeds using sd tools with 3 different sd cards: 4gb class 4 sandisk, 16gb class 10 samsung, and 32gb sandisk uhs1. It seems that each card doesnt exceed 4mb/s write and 8mb/s read speeds on my e4gt on calkulin gb rom 3.0. When these cards are tested on my pc, i experience the correct speed ratings.
Is there a cap that is on the e4gt that i need to modify? I played with the cache sizes 128 2048 3072 and 4096, very minimal changes and all tend to fall in the same speed ranges stated above.
I tried switching different kernels but still had no luck. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Could it possibly be Calkulins GB 3.0 rom? I would hate to flash another rom just for trial and error if someone can confirm it's not the rom.
Running cm9 beta got 4mb/9mb. Card is an older 4gb sdhc sandisk

lol i see.. im not sure.. never paid attention to it.. i kno roms come with sd card tweaks n stuff sometimes.. but only diff is im on a diff rom.. so its either ur phone, or sd, or rom setup lol. basically anything
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
Its not the card or the kernel, i have confirmed that.
Its either the microsd slot, rom, or ???? Is anyone on Calkulin GB 3.0 rom having any issues?

Anyone seen the 32 or 64 gig phones yet?

Hey I really want a gn 2 but I need more space than 16gig. Has anyone seen a 32/64gig gn2 with any of the american carriers? I can't seem to find anything but the 16gig unit.
Thanks

The only ones I know of are in Korea. They do not have the 16GB model, but they have the 32 and 64GB models... Kind of lame...
So only 16 gig for US. Are you also in the Verizon forums? Seems like I may have seen you in the 7.7 group. Anyways thanks for the reply.

Yea, but I want 128Gb in my phone! It's all about the Gee-Bee's!!!! :victory:
Just making sure, since I bought a Micro SD card in advance of getting the phone.
Wait for 128gb cards to be released.

LMAO I knew I have heard of that name from somewhere.,... I check out the Verizon forums from time to time and always see posts from ya...
Are all these people complaining about space coming from a iPhone or HTC one x? Expandable memory guys! I'd rather have it on there then on the phone, saves a lot time in the long run

At that rate, you might as well wait for the Note III. It's technology, a few months after you buy it, something newer and cooler is out. There's already rumor threads forming about a new Exynos 5 phone.
But yeah, more expandable memory is better. Especially if you want to keep FLAC files on your phone.
But still can't install apps on the cards and these games are now larger than 2 gig.

Google has relocated to storage card location to a different folder so none of that app to SD card apps work anymore

SGS3 & 32gb or 64gb sdcard?

Will the SGS3 read a 64gb sdcard or not?
I've heard both ways that it will and it won't. Anybody know for sure?
Thanks

I have 64gb class 10. I have no problem at all.

I have a 64GB card in my phone. It came formatted as exFAT. It would fine except that the recoveries can not access the card. If that was a problem for me I could reformat it as FAT32.

[Q] Will a 64gb microsd work on Vanilla Rootbox?

The threads on both dev forms are locked. I know its a stupid question.......
Will a 64gb micro sd extreme work on it?
If so, do i have to do anything special for it to read?
I think you need to format the sd card to fat32. If you do, you can use the sd card on any of the roms, I think.
