Sure, you are on Tegra? If you use At&T you are on Snapdragon
You can see in Info --> Hardware-Information

same on my phone.
I've read in another thread that mc3 isn't compatible (patched version somewhere).
Perhaps these are for tablets.
Hah, great! Play says N.O.V.A 3 is compatible with my old HTC Vision (Desire Z)

I had the same issue, go to wapshop.gameloft.com on your phone, then it works. Also, nova 3 dosen't work yet.

Mine didn't (bought it unbranded) but my boss's one did (Vodafone).
I downloaded it a while ago though.

You need to install TegraZone from the market. It doesn't come with the phone unless your carrier added it in. Most appear to not have it at all.

HTC One X and backbreaker tegra

Hi, guys im trying to buy backbreaker thd from googleplay but it says "your device is Not Suitable for your device" what can i do about That or any solution?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
If your device is rooted you have to edit the build.prop ( plenty of tutorial out there => search )
If you are not rooted i don't think there is a "legal" way.
Thank you so much

How is it possible that Backbreaker THD, obviously for Tegra, isn't compatible with my One X? I can buy it with my Desire, a bit strange isn't it?

But the Desire is two years old and has no Tegra. It has a very modest Adreno 200 video chip, so it's likely it won't even run the game and at best it will but on low quality. Why is it available anyway? There is a normal version of the game, which is less expensive. Why sell a Tegra game to a device that has no benefit of it?

Because in the app manifest you can't filter by CPU, but you can (and obviously the dev had done it) by screen density. That's about the only thing that's different and could make your desire suitable for the app, as it has the same density as the older tegra 2 phones. I would suggest contacting the developer as it would be a minor update on his part, so it can be done quickly.

There are other ways to block devices, you can filter out any device you want. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9510649/how-to-restrict-android-app-to-specific-device-make
So it's just plain laziness or greed of the developer.

Is it worth upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy SIII?

I currently own the Xperia Play and was just wondering if it's worth upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy S3?
Personally I'm getting quite tired of the thickness of the phone itself as I barely use the gamepad feature anyway. I am also a little bit reluctant being attached to a 2 year contract.
Any ideas?
BTW... Please do not mention Iphone 5... imo it really sucks!

I have both the Xperia Play & Galaxy S III (international version). I would say that if you want an awesome phone GET IT. I really don't like the Xperia Play myself too. Too thick & etc.
I'd get an HTC phone way before a Samsung. Also HTC will be PlayStation certified.

So get S3 too
Click thanks if i helped!

I would never buy the S3 for a few reasons.
1: The Super AMOLED screen has a pentile subpixel matrix, which makes it more green than any other color
2: The build quality is cheap
3: The Super AMOLED screen creates a burn-in on the notification bar
4: The LEDs on the screen wear out much more quickly than a normal LCD display
So I say no, but w/e
Great, if u dont love games.
Other than that, You should get it!!!

Thats a great combo for home use but not on the go. There is no stand on the Nyko controlller to hold the Android device in place. Which means you can only play your Android device on a flat surface. No thanks but I am waiting for the Xperia Play 2.

HTC and Play station Mobile giving out free games for sense 4+ users.

Do you have a sense 4+ device and love playing games on it? Well your in luck because HTC and Play station Mobile are being generous enough to give out free PS Mobile games to anyone with a HTC device with Sense 4+. Every week has a new game starting February 1st and the first game is Cubixx.

Is our HOX end of the line?

Every great Rom I use becomes 'discontinued'
I understand our HOX doesn't stay young and fresh forever, but it still beats lots of available new phones.
I am not a dev, I can't make a Rom myself, so I really hope our HOX will by subject of romdeveloping for a while :sly:

I have worked with a lot of devices on xda ,and to be honest HOX has the least attention
I own a newly bought HTC Sensation XE and it has the twice the support that HOX has though its a years older than One X
beside the HTC One X hasnt been lucky with Tegra Chip inside since this chip isnt popular at all and it doesnt has any kind of support
,,lol
another point Samsung Galaxy S2 even has more support than both of these devices together
SO when it comes to your question ? I think our device here is dying fast when it comes to support
next time I'm going to by only Nexus devices though when it comes to build quality HTC is far superior than any other device

Have you checked the XDA page for any NEXUS device? even nexus 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nexus 1 is more popular than this mighty HOX . and yes NEXUS 1 has a KITKAT ROM running on it
HOX is a really powerful phone when t comes to specs and numbers but thats ok if I were a normal user , but sadly XDA has changed the way I look into phones ,
because of XDA I will only buy a device with a lot support and t seems that NEXUS devices always lucky to have

Take a look at the legendary HD2 it's support beats the one x in every way that's due to the chip and s-off... And yes nexus devices support is way better duo to its price what broke the one x is the ****ty Tegra chip nvidia is known at writing bad drivers for Linux kernels so i wouldn't be surprised... When i bought the one x i knew that the support won't be amazing but i thought we will have s-off because that didn't happen the support is very bad so mhhh.. Let's see if the next htc gets the 805 snapdragon chip this would be really interesting if not the N5 will always be there

This overheating problem is mostly due to Tegra chip design not HTC and we can see that only HOX and HOX+ that has Tegra chips and after that point HTC has stopped dealing with Nvidia for uplifting an further chips

True but now it isnt posable to change some things i could on my desire and its harder to make custom roms like kitkat with sense 5.5

The only thing I don't understand why is so hard to port a ROM from the original Nexus 7
it has almost the same Tegra 3 CPU in it and it has all the drivers supplied for the latest Android 4.4 version...?

That's what I decided after this HTC experience as well. It was my first Android phone, and now I know that Nexus is the way to go.
Even HTC Desire has better support than HOX at the moment.
Lesson learnt, only buy Qualcomm chipset based phones
And by the way, kitkat kernel source for HTC one is already released. And we are still waiting for 4.2.2 kernel source.
