Back in my days running the Nexus One there was a modified version of flash that allowed this. I have no clue if it still exists. Good luck!

I wast under the impression that with froyo browser and complete flash it was possible to stream hulu on or phones. Is this true?

While Flash is capable of playing content Hulu blocks access by mobile devices. I believe this is because their licensing terms don't allow them to distribute content to anything but PC's.
There's another thread somewhere that details how to get Hulu on your Android device. You basically need a hacked version of Flash (I think) and then a small system tweak to make Hulu's servers think the request is coming from a desktop. I just saw it yesterday. . . .

I don't know about the hacked flash thing but simply changing the user agent doesn't work anymore. It does work for porn sites though fyi.

def about:debug shown here (had to do in first link above) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=686765&highlight=hulu
then this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6888650&postcount=139
the hulu app that launches the widget player in the browser works like a charm, but the FULL site still doesn't
christ almighty...
SEARCH
I think you just have to set your browser to desktop mode to view hulu. Type: about:debug In browser, then enter, then look for it in settings.

no. you'll need a hacked flash as well as the ua string change.
I must say, XDA has a beautiful forum search function(thank you xda!). If people just @#(*$# used it sometimes they would have the answer to their own questions 99.99999% of the time.
Just saying..........

I'm using Chrome beta and i have noticed a few issues. The one which is driving me crazy is the integration with the native YouTube app, i mean, there's no integration or i can't find how to get it. Videos are not in HD and there is no fullscreen option. Any idea?

Just relax its still in beta. I'm sure Google will fix that issue in on of there updates

WHy are you using the website instead of the app. I am just wondering.
the app is super slow on my device for some reason. The website on Chrome loads almost instantaneously for me.
If you set your youtube account to use HTML5 rather than Flash, the new Chrome Beta plays everything in the Browser if you prefer that.
This can be seen with links to any apps. Clicking on an address in search results also uses browser based Maps instead of Maps app. You can star this bug here:

I remember doing it b4 I was on worldstarhiphop.com watching a video and then I went to another page and read something and I had the video still playing like a pop up video. any idea how to do it?

Solution: On the multiscreen options, there are two web browsers (chrome and default).
Just select chrome for one web page and then the default web browser for the other...simples.

I want to watch some live sports (that I already pay for through satellite tv, but am not home to watch) on my phone.
ESPN 3 and http://www.thefirstrow.eu/ can do this for me, but I cant figure out what I need to install on the Nexus 4 to make those sites work. Both those sites worked natively on my Vibrant.
I love the firstrow site .
Just install the adobe flash apk and the aosp browser which can be found in this forum .
If you can't find em i could upload em if you want.

The flash player as mentioned as well as any flash browser.

Try TubeMate. Here's their official website: tubemate.net
or maybe video tube downloader
Gesendet von meinem Nexus 4 mit Tapatalk 4
tube mate forced me to quite the browser i am in, copy paste the link into the program and then it will download that video.
tube downloader has a browser in the program it self. so i just go to any site i want, and as soon as the video starts playing, i get a "save" icon that with just one click, it will save automatically.
ive used tubmate on all my devices.. never had issue with it
