Thats right, ever since AOKP and CM9 have updated to 4.0.4 i lost the ability to overclock, well Tegrak OC is now fully functional (at least on AOKP b37)
Any brave souls willing to test on cm9a5?.. if it doesnt work it wont brick the phone will it? Lol
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA
It works fine. I've used tegrak for ever. As soon as it updated and started working I tried it on my ROM, CM9, and AOKP. Shouldn't have many issues. Just don't under volt too far
Anyone post the apk? Keep getting a error when download
edit:got it to download and works great!

Generally people undervolt -50 or -75 mV from the stock values. Some go -100 mV but that could get you bootlooped. Make sure that your phone is stable after undervolting before setting it on startup. As for OC, I'd say max should be like 1500 Mhz
Sent from my SPH-4710 using XDA
Tegrak has a great feature. No matter what your settings are when you reboot you have to apply the settings after the phone boots. So if you make a change that locks up the phone you can reboot and undo it by hitting cancel at the tegrak screen. When I undervolt I normally go -50mv on each step including GPU. This seems to work the best for me on ICS ROMs. On GB I could go to -75mv and even -100mv on some steps. But -50mv seems to give you a little more battery life and still good performance. Just my input.

Has anyone else experienced issues with the GPS having a hard time locating after the update? It used to work flawlessly on 402 but now it's pretty much worthless.

GPS has been normal for me since update. Just checked with the GPS test app and it located just fine.

Went into the app's settings > "Update AGPS" and it improved to this:
GPS fine here. And there.

GPS works fine for me here. I'm on stock 4.0.4 yakju rooted. I think GPS initialization is even faster than 4.0.3 (EBMod)
Fine for me too. Faster locking actually. Are you using a custom rom, kernel?
No, completely stock and not rooted. Maybe it's just my imagination, just seems like before the update it worked great and now it can't find me. Even did my update ota.

I too have found myself with the location problem... Maps Google+ Facebook location based features do not work. I have however noticed that when you switch down to 2G it locates fine. I dont know if its data stored in that partition thats causing it maybe, if any devs can chime in and the help would be greatly appreciated.
Rooted running latest Gummy rom and Baseband I9250UGLC1
Just an update after troubleshooting I stopped by a T-Mobile store and had my sim card replaced and that did it for me. Once its replaced make sure you cycle off and on a few times.

Interesting, I'll have to try the new sim card thing. Thanks for the heads up.
hi ! guys today i will share trick to decrease lock screen lag to 80% which is 8 out of 10 tries (not bad ) on default lock screen it is around 40% ~~~
ALL tools are free
STEPS :-
1) download GO Locker from market
2) then download GO Locker Simple RightTheme from market or any locker theme which is less then 600 KB
3) that's it ! now you will get less lock screen lags :victory:
thing to remember ;-
-THIS NOT 100% fix
- don't not change lock screen wallpaper (by changing lock screen wallpaper you will get around 60%)

What a great development. Appreciate your hard work mate. Truly a difficult work.

Nice, will test this out!
Does it work for anyone?
Wake up lag is the exynos chip waiting for the modem to wake up. Changing your lockscreen will not help dude, unless it prevents your phone from going to sleep, which will decimate your battery life.

It doesn't seem to matter how many times people repeat this over and over. Myself included.
I have given up repeating myself and explaining to people that it's the exynos blah blah it can't be fixed without wakeblah blah. Its a loosing battle. Just let them believe whatever they want to beleive, if it seems to make them happy.

This is your work huh? Wonderful, good to have a new Dev for us Toroplus users, welcome to the family.
Suggestion: Can you add Color Control? Contrast fix etc?
Here are the most good looking (IMO) color settings.
Contrast:-20(-24 if you like darker shadows)
Gamma Adjustment: 0
Gamma Offset:
R:0
G:0
B:0
Color Multiplier:
R:150
G:150
B:214
If these color settings could be added you'd have me as a Daily user. Also these settings are here for other users to use if needed.

Try clearing AGPS data. You should be able to do that in GPS Test.

Did that, no go. How many are you getting btw, and what radio are you on?
I'm using UVMC6 (rooted stock JB, never had a custom ROM) and getting 19 sats in view and 12 in use. By the looks of your signal bars, you're not getting strong enough signal to use any--it's just seeing that the sats are there.

Huh, I'll try ODINing to 4.1.2 then. If that doesn't work, I'll just sell it on eBay. Probably gonna get a Motorola Atrix HD (cheaper than SGS2, better res screen, but no hardware buttons or NFC).
Could you try running that app without the wifi/data on?
Also, for some reason my gps clock doesn't set like yours does. SMH.
Ok update, GPS is working, but it takes a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time to get locks.
It should be quicker next time... even my Garmin eTrex takes forever if I haven't used it in a while.

Yeah, actually it does work. But initially, it takes around 15 to 20 minutes (after boot that is), and then it grabs signal within 10 seconds.
Weird...Oh well, I don't even use the GPS. The CPU and GPU are super powerful, so it's a great phone I have my CPU overclocked at 1.7GHz and GPU underclocked to 177MHz (but it's still powerful. I don't play games on it).
OK I'm working on the cttmod for mm and I'm having trouble getting different temperature readings from the different apps I'm using to test so I have a two part question
1 - Does anyone know of an app that accurately measure the temp ?
2- How can I tell what method or what directory mm stock and stock kernels get there temperature information and an temperature app that will allow me to point it in the same direction.
Right now I've got the mod working but the 5°c+ difference in temperature is a big difference when allowing the CPU's temp to be higher before it throttles and for how long it stays there.
Hey.
You can see all thermal zones here:
/sys/class/thermal/
If I'm not wrong, thermal_zone0 is for the cpu package(not only core0), so you can use this to see the temp.
I'm using cooltool from Google play and custom label with this for path:
/sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp
You can change refresh rate and some other things in the app. You can also watch on what mhz cpu work, so you can see when it throttle
Hope this will help you
P.s.- This is the most accurate temp reading, because you read it directly from the kernel.

Thanks and that just confirmed it. Kernel auditor is the one that's off out the five that I tried only kernel auditor was a consistent 5+ ° c lower than the other four which all stayed without 1 to 2° of each other. That's the reason my mod wasn't working the way I thought it was . Now time to start over
Again thanks I just needed some additional confirmation and that did it
