You should put AOSP instead of cm7

Whaaaaaaaaat? only 19 governors? ...c˝mon m8 i am sure you can squeeze a few more
I˝m joking m8 ...Hope you get your Minty-MINT in order fast and continue with this work...BTW MATE,MATE is now default alongside with Cinnamon...Unity i never liked, thats why i use green instead of orange distro
Cheers!!!

How about Chaos Kernel????

Thanks Mate can't wait for this kernel , btw will work on CM7.1 "sable version" ?

"Badass" would sound pretty nice

"You can overclock as much as you want, your phone will always seem too slow."

Kernel from Hell would sound Great.
So, this Kernel fixes the Freezes while Overclocking on some Devices if I read it right?

No it doesn't solve overclock freezing its been heavily optimized to speed so overclocking isn't really needed.
Update: sources all synchronized no redoing the work on the kernel so the update should be out tonight

zcache will not have support for snappy because i have been researching snappy and found a few pages saying that zcache doesnt play nice with snappy its not really a bit deal anyway zram has it thats more important .
Doing my first kernel build at the moment to make sure it all compiles in before tweaking it .

version one in op this one is a non-tweaked version meaning no VM tweaks has been applied i have done this for a test to see how it handles on phones first

Are you fricking serious about the preloaded ICS theme!??!
I had booted up Mint Cinnamon but didn't explore it past the major UI changes and went back to my home base, fedora. Will check it out when I get home
How about the Blackbird kernel after the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. I was looking at other fast aircrafts for the name but this one is the coolest

Yeah I'm serious about the themes on mint 13
As for the kernel name I'm looking at fast cars etc like the Bugatti Veyron for the kernel name the boot logo will also tie into the name so it looks good to just need to brush up on my design skills lol.

Look at this picture and tell me it doesn't look epic!
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/97/Lockheed_SR-71_Blackbird.jpg
You could probably even use the cyanogenmod circle with it or rather a wildfire circle, like the wildchild lockscreen... And since it's the boot animation, it could actually be burning!
But that's just my $0.02
Keep up the good work! Waiting for one of your kernels for cm9.

[KERNEL][JB] Nyan Kernel Tuna (Rel5) 10/27/12

Nyan Colonel was originally created for the Epic 4G as an effort to bring all of the features from other Hummingbird devices to the Epic. Now I have used my upgrade on a Galaxy Nexus and have been trying many different kernels and every one seems to have some features and be missing others. I have attempted to add as much features I can while still keeping the kernel lean and fast with great battery life. This does not require you to be some crazy linux enthusiast in order to modify, or charge you for an app capable of tuning it. It comes with the trickstermod app in order to tweak the kernel to your needs in case the preset settings don't fit your user type.
If you need help, feel free to gtalk me, I don't bite (most of the time): [email protected]

I will attempt to support this as much as I can on xda, but for several reasons (not that xda sucks... it is a great site, but there were some issues with OP length, etc. and it is hard to update on multiple sites), I have my main thread over at rootzwiki...
Anyways, get the full feature list at rootzwiki and I'll just post a basic overview here on this thread.
Source: http://github.com/marcusant/Nyan-Tuna-JB
Description:
Nyan was originally created to port GSM Galaxy S 1 mods over to the Sprint variant. I have since moved to the Galaxy Nexus and have noticed that whenever I would get a new kernel, I would really miss features from the kernel that I was using prior, so that inspired me to make my own kernel for the Tuna.

Edit: seems to be working well. And the color profiles are working as well.
Nyan is really disagreeing with the ondemand governor
Still I prefer this over any of the other kernels here so far, a good blend of features.
Thanks a lot.Awesome!

2. CM sysfs support (in the beta 2 posted earlier)(thanks imoseyon)
3. Pegasusq tweaks and fixes (thanks sonicxml)

camera is absolutely broken when you choose maxmem kernel. unless, you can give me some reference about having bigmem without sacrificing the camera support
I'm using lulzactive with maxmem
Its no lag at all and this kernel is very good for gaming too~
Thank you very much

hmm 2 questions, do you wipe dalvik and cache at the time you flash this kernel? i need a report about lulzactive battery life and performane, is it good enough?
epic Bigmem, 423 MB..
Anyone tested camera with lgcamera? In forvivo's 392 MB it works but only 480p.. How about this one?

[KERNEL] Nibbles Kernel v0.1.5 *OC & OC/STOCK GPU* (1/7/13)

Nibbles Kernel Is Here!
Thanks to Krazeecracker for letting me take over!
Thanks to Android88 for helping me test my builds into the wee hours of the night
THIS WILL WIPE CURRENT INIT.D SCRIPTS. MAKE SURE YOU BACK THEM UP!
I did not create this Kernel, I just maintain and add features to it. Give total credit to CVD as this is his creation and body of work. He made this possible. ALSO BIG SHOUTS OUT TO THOMAS.RAINES FOR THE BASE KERNEL LZ KERNEL
Features: The Nibbles kernel includes a LOT of new features that cater to all users who want to get the most out of their device. I've included many popular CPU Governors and I/O schedulers to support a wide variety of uses. Additionally, I've made lots of other fundamental changes to the kernel to better balance battery and performance (well beyond what you can do with a handful of scripts) as well as implementing over clocking the CPU to 1.782GHz, Under/Over Volting the CPU at each frequency step and over clocking the GPU.
CPU Governors: intellidemand, pegasusq, gallimaurfy, interactivex, smartassv2, wheatley, interactive, conservative, userspace, ondemand, performance
I/O Schedulers: noop, deadline, cfq, sio, vr, bfq

--Added GPU oc script set to 320/228 [still need to determine if it's fully effective since I do not know how to change gpu on coding level]
--Undervolted kernel a little more than previous builds, check my github for the settings
-- Removes lulzactive due to freezing and rebooting
Builds should resume as normal as i FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY!! found a way to compile the kernel with no problem

[Kernel][3.0.101][OC/UV] Blasphemy Kernel v6.6

Hi guys, I've been working on a kernel for fun, so I thought I'd share it. The cm10.1 version is based off cm-10.1 branch of team hydra's source. I'm working on a cm10.2 version based off cyanogenmod's cm-10.2 branch. I can't tell you what rom it'll work with, since I mainly use cm10.1, but I'm fairly sure it'll work without problems on other AOSP roms.
Features:
OC/UV to 1600mhz
650ma charging over usb (Yes, it acutally charges when plugged into a computer while in use now..)
UKSM
Always tracking the latest version of Linux 3.0.y
Optimized SHA routines
Dynamic fsync enabled
mmc tweaks
use gnu version of lib/string and memcopy for better performance
Proportional Rate Reduction for TCP
lzo compressed with updated implementation
zram enabled with snappy compression by google
many other low level tweaks cherry-picked from popular kernels for other devices

I'm not really sure. If it doesn't work, I can roll out a version rebased from 10.2 source within a few hours
Seems to be running nicely so far. Oc to 1400 with -50 under volt across the board. Has anyone had any success with lower uv than that? I'm too tired for

The OC/UV is the same used on agat63's kernel and LZ, so you can expect similar results.

Done.
Ok...just tested this for a few minutes. Instantly rebooted after flashing....which I really wan't expecting. Thought maybe I had bricked my phone for a sec since I don't have USB access to my phone BUT nope! Booted right up. Played with the gov's...all worked well. 1600 worked just fine. Had to rebuild my scripts for link2sd for ext4 which I expected. Then the bad news......GPS is totally whacked out. Didn't work at all. I used both of my gps apps and not a single sat was found. Other than that it was great! Had to switch back to stock CM till the GPS is fixed because I'm new to Az and don't know my way around yet. Thanks for the work though!
I'll be checking this out, I'm working on building pure vanilla jellybean 4.2.2 so I'll give this a try once the source finishes syncing and I compile it.

I'll look into the GPS issue when I get off work, because I never use it. As far as the reboot, sorry about that, I'll remove it from the next build.
Next order of business: messing with governors isn't really my thing, but are there any that you guys would really like to have in a kernel? IO schedulers as well?

PQ has always been my favorite. I think everything else is awesome. Just went back to Dastin's stock cm kernel and GPS came back. Also, the reboot isn't such a huge deal. I just wasn't expecting it is all. Overall it looks great man
