theme was improperly compiled and cannot be applied.. try to use system themes and reboot but still no luck.. thanks

I have just changed dpi from 240 to 200 with "DPI Density Changer". Next restart phone doesn't open. So i have to reinstall the Rom. How can i change DPI? Thank you.
I usually do it by editing the build.prop with a text editor. I don't know what the app you used does, but if it just modifies build.prop I don't know what else to try.

I too tried to change DPI to my DHD mounting jellytime r28. I was following this guide to mod the lockscreen: [How-To] Octo lock layout for any CM Based Rom
I changed the DPI manually by editing the build.prop and I got the same imparatore's result, phone semi-bricked in bootloop.
Then I found this thread [solved]soft-Brick phone after LCD dpi changes ....but it didn't solve the question, how can I change the DPI without screwing the rom up?
The problem Is solved in pack man ROM. Try it.

With ES File Explorer or kind of this program. Hold on file and enter proparties. There you will see.
Does anybody know a working apktool for 4.3? Tried to recompile and no dice. It used to work on 4.2.

I was able to recompile without issue, however the resulting files cause problems. For example, I was unable to change clock color but could change clock location to center. I was able to replace icons in settings from black & white to color 3D icons, when I flash my modified SystemUI I am unable to access data networks using 3g/4g. Also cannot go into Settings and select between 3G/4G without Settings FCing on me.
Really need an updated APKTOOL for Android 4.3.
Anyone got apktool mobile working on 4.3? Fails with Java. Many thanks.

change your dpi to 316. if you want 5x6 you can change your dpi to 309.

What rom are you running? Do you have root permission? Download texdroider dpi from playstore to change your dpi.

Could you post the log containing errors you get when recompiling?
I don't have a pc to test it myself right now, but I should help knowing what errors you're facing

If it's not working, post/upload framework-res.apk and i'll try it again

but now something else is not working(when i click on lockscreen in setting, setting will force close )

Oh, sorry, just now i see that you need it for cm9 (second post), not cm10 (first post on that guide). It was recompiled without errors, i assumed it worked.
But i couldn't recompile android-policy.jar
Too much differense in smali files or i used wrong ones

Install any custom launchers like Nova, flick etc.

He meant to say to install custom launcher(nova) if you want to change icon size
