First install flash.
If it won't work, install Dolphin browser, go to setting and change user agent to desktop, or even better, change it to custom, and enter latest Firefox's user agent.

I want to watch some live sports (that I already pay for through satellite tv, but am not home to watch) on my phone.
ESPN 3 and http://www.thefirstrow.eu/ can do this for me, but I cant figure out what I need to install on the Nexus 4 to make those sites work. Both those sites worked natively on my Vibrant.
I love the firstrow site .
Just install the adobe flash apk and the aosp browser which can be found in this forum .
If you can't find em i could upload em if you want.

The flash player as mentioned as well as any flash browser.

It's not actually playing flash, but html5 instead (where it's supported). YouTube is a great example, but many flash-only sites are broken in chrome .

so give Google time to make Chrome a perfect browser, since Adobe will never ever support android phone (I think so), ya html5 kind of cool
In a nutshell, flashplayer mobile cannot or is yet not supported by chrome android. To view pure flash content you must use the android stock browser

pretty sure Google will never bring Flash to Chrome mobile since they are pushing for HTML5 and Adobe announced its going to stop supporting Flash for mobile.
Try firefox. Pretty good mobile browser as well and it can run flash.

ES Flie Explorer or Total commander they will prompt you to watch or download so its your choice ive got this working on couple of Video Sites.
downloading flash
For desktop I started using the torch browser since no add ons are needed. There's a video grabber embedded that can take flash videos off the web. Give it a shot.
So I've gotten my tablet rooted of with success but the only thing i cannot get to wwork is the flash player. I've installed several apks use the browser Firefox or even dolphin but a site i visit on PC, prizes.com still reports i need flash player 10.1 or higher
Am i doing something wrong? I tried downloading itfrom adobe themselves on tablet but the page itself requires flash to download too. Gg

I have flash working perfectly on mine. I just downloaded the apk to my computer then transferred it over to my Nexus via dropbox (you can use something similar).

Update.
For some reason it started to work properly with phony in default user agent and Firefox not requesting desktop page.

You need to use a different browser like firefox, dolphin, boat, etc. Stock browser and Chrome do not support flash.

What build number of flash do you have?
The most current version - Flash Player 11.1 for Android 4.0 (11.1.115.81) is here.
Here is a link to the Adobe Flash Player Archive.
Are you using a web site to access Comcast or the APP?

Has something changed on the new 2014 Note because the stock browser plays flash content on my 8013 after I install the APK from the link above.

what are you talking about??? adobe, the creators of flash, don't support flash on android any more. this tablet could cost $1000 and it wouldn't change adobe's stance on flash for android. samsung has nothing to do with this.

Said every iPad user ever. Coming from an iPad I am used to this. I would venture to guess most users use their favorite browser anyway. Some are free others are cheap. Easy
