Code:
import android
droid = android.Android()
droid.batteryGetLevel()
The above code crashes SL4A on my stock 2.2 HTC Desire.
Other API calls that require API Level 5 (such as the bluetooth ones) work without problems.
No info about that on Google forums.
Can anyone please confirm?
Confirmed on latest CM nightly.
I like the Lockscreen and new styles of CM7.2,
but my some software can't work well in CM7.2, just 7.1
someone help me ?
First tell us what doesn't work or what's the problem in 7.2. It isn't too easy to backport features from newer rom versions. 7.2 has a slew of new features. If its an issue with apps not showing on the market that may be easily fixable.

The google maps and Careland Navigation gets gps for a while,lose the signal soon.
In the GPS source of settings
if i chose the use internal gps ,then the problem is happenning.
default---no chose
when I first use CM7.2.
I think the gps source use the external so i change it.
and i can‘t change it back.
Today i flash it again,
after i installed all the software ,don't change anything,
try the Careland Navigation,it works well.
but sometime later, the problem happens again,
The google maps and Careland Navigation
Sorry my english!
I've not had a GPS issue that I know of on cm 7.2. I also use Google navigation but didn't have any weird GPS drops while using the incredible.

I've never tried it because I don't want to pay all the money for it but Widget locker would probably work. I've used Go Locker and it worked fine, so it should work as well. Like tiny said though, I've never had any problems with cm7.2 and Google Navigation so I don't see why you would unless you had some sort of conflicting app on there. CM7.2 is full of fixes from 7.1 though so logically it wouldn't make sense for you to experience problems in 7.2 that didn't exist in 7.1. That being said, the 7.2 Stable release became available on 6/16 so you may want to give it a run, if you haven't already

Anyone tried this on our version of the galaxy nexus. I just got involved with nfc tinkering and to be able to scan while screen off would be great-though it sounds buggy currently.
I am using the other flavour (scan with lock-screen on instead of unlocking) from the developer and it is working great, no bugs or issues.
Can I ask what Rom you're running?
AOKP build 38
Hi,
Since I've installed my first (and only) rom (iH8ra!n's CM10) last Christmas, although it's every bit better than stock, the last few months I've realised how good the GPS works in the stock rom. GPS barely works for me any more. I have tried a few fixes with no luck.
So what are the best GPS roms to try for the Wildfire S?
Thanks
speeding up gps

if you need stock roms you can try my stock roms..check my signature and about gps.
use fasterfix from playstore and set your location and gps will lock more faster.(mostly default ntp servers are north america and all locations so it take time to fix on location so with this app you can change your gps.conf file and gps will locked faster)
good luck:good:

I can't believe I didn't find fasterfix earlier after all the googling I've done. GPS about as quick as my Nexus 7 now. I did try messing with gps.conf after I found some guides on here but I didn't do it right or they didn't work.
Thanks crossfire77!

Is there a app/mod to add active display feature to android 4.4? 4.3.1 has given me nothing but grief so I've stayed with CM11, but no option yet added in. Play store version only works 1 put of ten notifications.
Beanstalk 4.4 has Active Display built in:

I had a problem with wi-fi (with an earlier build than what's current) so I am using Beanstalk 4.2.2 with Dynamic Notifications from the Play store, and I like it, but I don't know how it compares to Active Display.
