Would you guys happen to know if it would be safe to flash the ICS update through Kies over a Juggernaut ROM? Would I have to unroot or do anything of that nature first?

No, people are just irritable because of all the pointless threads/posts about the ICS update, probably. I would not suggest updating to ICS vis Kies on top of Juggernaut...it's very likely to cause problems.
In the future, though, it's better to post this kind of thing in the Juggernaut thread or the ICS speculation thread instead of starting a whole new thread to ask one question. Cheers.

No there is no way around it. And if it is a question that needs to be asked. The Q&A forums are the place to ask and you canboost there without the limit. Development is not for asking questions

Same here. I've been using this Web site for like a year or more. Had just got a password and screen name, feeling like I had gained enough knowledge to contribute to my favourite ROM thread, typed this long post, put alot of thought into it, hit submit, and got dissed. my friend the amount of time you spent asking others to answer, could of been spent you doing a little research on your own. Like download both roms open them up in a file manager and view the system/app/ and see whats missing. Honestly is doing the leg work for yourself that difficult. I know its Q&A but come on now do you need to be spoonfed...

It's a hit or miss with that. I've seen people get upset in the rom threads with these type of questions saying it doesn't belong in there. The best thing to do is research and 1st hand experience. People can say stuff but unless you try it out, you won't truly know.

If you feel you are helping people and people are showing their appreciation by telling you or pressing the "Thanks" button then conitnue with it, all that should matter is if you feel you are being a productive positive member. And honesty is usually best, granted tact may also have to come into play but people that are not straight honest it can make things more frustrating for the user in question. So in a nutshell if you think are a benefit then keep going.

I have seen users at the end of each post say "if you found this post helpful please hit the 'Thanks" button. I do the same thing on eBay after I sell something, telling people to remember to leave feedback. Same concept. Try that and see if that makes a difference. You got nothing to lose.

not sure about on xda app but on tapatalk you can. just click anywhere on the selected post and press thanks.

I stopped using tapatalk because of too many force closes.
You don't get get the thanks option on the XDA app.
