Just format it.

I dont understand why you want the Goldcard patch removed..............both of my SD cards are Goldcards and both work perfectly........even with DATA2SD

My SD cards are class 4 cards of 8GB and 2GB............and i have had NO PROBLEMS whatsoever..........i made them into goldcards before i unlocked my bootloaders, during the times the DIAG files were are trend in our forums.......
You have the option to format but i advise you not to do so as the goldcard has not that much effect on the efficiency of your SDcard
I went through the gold card process again this time everything works just fine

SD Card broken and internal storage reads 1gb..

I have a CDMA One V and I am running CM10 with JMZ JB kernel. I can not for the LIFE OF ME figure out WHY SD card is broken and internal storage only has 1gb of space.. It reads that I have an SD card in but it instantly dismounts and says it is safe to remove.
I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER FOR ANY ANSWERS!!
If your sdcard reads on your computer, back everything up and reformat your card. Dunno about the internal storage.
Hope that helps a little.

I'm just going to RUU back to stock. I heard that you have to lock the bootloader for it to work, is this true?
Yep. Relock and ruu and let us know what happens.

You probably can't. On windows there is a program called recuva. You can try bit but since it was a partition formatting i doubt you will get anywhere... Sorry pal

If you have a way of mounting it to your computer you can probably recover most data. Some may be corrupted or there may be issues where you've already overwritten it so it won't be 100%.
But this app is the one I use for all my data recovery at work: http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk
