I have a PowerAMP license bought from the web site like 2 years ago, and when i install the AOKP Rom (no matter what build) the verification fails.
This isn't an issue with only the Galaxy Nexus, the Nexus S fails too.
I contacted the developer but he only gives me the basic solutions for this kind of troubles: exit twice, then enter again. Install the app again, etc.
I don't know if this is a common issue or what, because i can't find any info on the web.
The strange thing about it is that it only fails whit the AOKP Rom, because i try with Foxhound and Revolution and none of them seems to have any troubles handling the verification.
Apparently the developers of PowerAMP are not interested in this problem, so i come here to ask for some help or at least some answers!
Thanks in advance!
PS: I'm lucky that JetAudio made a shameful appeareance in the Play Store...
Have you tried clearing app data?
I get the feeling you are reinstalling the app + the license apk with titanium backup and thats might have something to do with it.
Ive only had aokp and aokp modded roms in my gnex and poweramp + license apk works fine.
Using same player and same ROM, but everything is fine... Verification ok....

I tried the method mentioned by chinoquezada and it works, but there's something strange, because when i was using the AOKP with a Nexus S the same method didn't work for me.
Thanks for the help!
Without doing anything to PowerAMP or my device the app failed again with the verification. I clear the app data and cache and it worked again, but this is really strange... and is only happening with AOKP.
I had that issue with a different app on a different ROM. For me the only thing that fixed it was using the Market Doctor feature of Titanium Backup to destroy all Market links.

I'm just about to finally make the switch to Cyanogen after being on Sense ROMs ever since rooting. Not sure if I'm going to go with the latest alpha with wimax this weekend or wait a little longer for CM7. Before I do, I have a few questions.
1. When doing an app restore via titanium should I do an app restore only and not app+data?
2. When doing the app restore, can I do a batch restore of all of them or should I do them individually making sure I don't select any HTC apps? I'm worried that by restoring something like 'Weather' it will cause issues in cyanogen because it's an HTC app.
3. Is it best to use the built in multimedia apps in cyanogen over 3rd party apps or does it matter? For instance I have the paid version of Mixzing and love it. I'm assuming it will work without issues in cyanogen but worry that I'm missing some great cyanogen-only features by not using the built in music player.
Thanks in advance.
Welcome to CM. I made the switch for the first time a couple of weeks ago and haven't looked back.
I'm new to this myself but I'll tell you what I've learned. As far as titanium backup goes I usually install my apps separately just to be safe. I do just the apps and then the data. I haven't had an issue doing it this way. Your HTC apps will not work in a CM rom so I wouldn't suggest trying. That will cause issues. Your third party apps should work just fine. All of the ones I use work with no issues.
The guys in the official cm threads are great. They are normally willing to help just try to read through them first to see if your question may have been answered. Good luck man. If you need help just holla I'll help in anyway I can.

Great thanks. One thing though, how do you know which apps are HTC ones? Not all of them show up in the app title. The Weather one is a perfect example.

If you delete an app via titanium backup [which I use] most of the time when you delete it it'll show like htc blah blah blah.apk, so you can try that, or search for a list of stock htc apk files. I hope that helps.
Edit: Also, your Mixzing app will work, and you can have multiple music player apps, so you can experiment to see what you like. That also goes for other apps, like multiple theme viewers, browsers, ect.
So I went to install Draw Something Free, to see what the hype is all about, and get told that the app isn't compatible with my i9250/AOKP M3.
Upon further investigation, most free games are listed as incompatible - including Fruit Ninja Free, even though i have the paid version already installed.
Any ideas? Anyone else having this problem?
Try wiping the cache and data for Google play store from settings-> applications-> manage apps and then locate play store. If that doesn't work, try wiping cache from cwm and fixing permissions. That should solve your issue

I just downloaded Fruit Ninja without issue.

Tried this, didn't work. Ended up ditching MS3 for MS4 (since it came out a couple days ago).

I'm thinking this was the issue. A little late though, as I just wiped and fresh-installed MS4, and now it works.
Interestingly enough, in MS4 (and NOT MS3), Settings -> ROM Control -> General UI -> LCD Density now gives a whole process for dealing with the Market, that includes a section that says "If you ever have compatibility issues with the market, be sure to return here and repeat the process (of changing the density)"
Its weird cause I also get incompatibility even though I'm running stock... some Verizon apps are also incompatible with my phone

Wouldn't personally want to use fruit ninja anyway after the news highlighting the fact they are one of the apps selling contact lists and calendar entries to companies, without our knowledge. Or so it would seem.

I have searched and tried for a good while now, with no success. I am running CM10 stable, no other mods. I tried everything to get dsp manager to work, but no matter what settings I try it does not affect the sound. I tried to freeze the app, and installed an equalizer from the market. Still nothing, no matter what settings I try it does not affect the sound. In my searching it seems that this doesn't apply to the Apollo player, but that is no good to me as I use Rhapsody for my music needs (I have confirmed this to be true. Both dsp and equalizer work in Apollo, but nowhere else). I know for a fact that dsp manager, and Rhapsody were compatible on CM7 with my old phone, and the equalizer app from the play store worked fine when I had the stock AT&T ROM on my GS3. Is there something I'm missing, or is the equalizer just plain broken in CM10? Is there a fix/mod/workaround for this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
DSP Manager works perfectly on mine and I use Google Music and Spotify. I suggest reflashing the ROM and see if that helps. You don't have to wipe data, just wipe cache and flash CM again. No need for Google Apps either.

After hours of frustration, searching, trial and error, re-flashing I have come to the conclusion there must be something in the framework that prevents the equalizer from performing system wide. I have tried installing many equalizers, uninstalling dsp/apollo and everything under the sun with no success. I can get them to work in apollo, and I'm pretty sure it will work with Google Music as well from what my searching has come up with, but they just will not work the way they do on the stock rom, and my old phone with cm7.

Can you tell us (and link to) every single ZIP that you have flashed on your device currently? The only thing I can guess is that another mod that you're flashing is overwriting the framework stuff needed for DSP manager to be system wide.
Hi. My phone (on Stock unrooted 4.1.2, didn't upgrade to 4.2.2 for no reason) has recently become very, very slow. I guess the reason for that is that I recently copied an MKV movie to it. Ever since I did that, it has been dead slow. Even though I have deleted it now, the sluggishness still persists. There's nothing else that I did (ever since this problem started), and please note, my phone was blazing fast before this, so I don't expect suggestions to flash a new ROM or kernel (because I'm a noob when it comes to flashing ROMs and stuff, and I will have so many more problems doing so). I think my phone can go back to the state on stock ROM and kernel.
Another thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1988233) mentions the same problem, I've found out that I have the exact same problem. My phone wasn't sluggish before I copied the movie. But now that I have removed it, the phone is stil slow and sluggish*
* what does it mean when i say "slow and sluggish":
- pressing the lock button doesn't turn the screen on, i have to do it a couple of times
- apps take longer to load
- widgets don't load (most of them)
- everything that you can imagine (swiping, sliding, etc) is slow.
Help, please. Thanks in advance.
Clear the cache of the video player application that you tried to play the video with. That may help. Go into settings>apps>downloaded>your video app>clear cache.
If it's the Gallery, go into all applications instead of downloaded.

It may be caused by installing too many RAM-hogging apps, if you're rooted you can try using Greenify from the play store and see if that helps.

I didn't copy the movie for playing, I copied it to transfer it somewhere else. And I've cleared cache of the video player MX Player just to be sure, and uninstalled it. Still no use.
One more thing. Apps are not responding, even stock apps. Once I open an app, it takes forever to load, and the message pops up: "<app> is not responding, would you like to stop it?" with the options "wait, stop, report".
All this has started ever since I copied that movie to my phone. Before that, it was blazing fast, no RAM hogging apps or anything.
How about you try to save all your pics/files you have on your phone, and do a factory reset? I know that's the highest you will go, but still worth a shot!

This a known issue. The solution is to root the phone (NRT) and run LagFix (fstream). Android 4.3 has fstream already built in.

Hello all,
I'm hoping you can help. I flashed PA_d2att-3.60-12JUN2013-050113 and pa_gapps-full-4.2-20130719-signed today and now I'm not able to download all of my apps from the App store. I was able to get a good amount of apps, but when I tried to put on Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Twitter, I was getting the Packet File is Invalid message.
I cleared the play store cache from within android but that didn't work. I tried rebooting into TWRP and clearing out all my cache's and that didn't work either.
I saw someone link a 'market fix' app and I even tried that. Nothing seems to be working.
Suggestions?

I'm no help on what the problem is, but I've been having this problem quite a lot lately. I'm on 4.1.1 rooted. Also, the wife's bone stock s4 has been throwing the same error from time to time. I might not be your phone or software. I'm interested to hear other input.

I'll check for new ones. I took that right from the first post on the thread on here. Maybe I misread something....
ahh yeah I saw 3.6 stable and completely missed the 3.69. I'll try it tonight when I get home and charge this thing back up. Hopefully that works.
Just tried installing apps again. This time over wifi rather than LTE. They worked. Weird. I could understand if no apps downloaded over LTE, but I downloaded probably 20 or so and only a handful didn't work.
Oh well. I'll stick with this ROM for the moment and see how it behaves over a few days.
Thanks again for pointing out there was a newer one.
Temporary fix anthill Google fix on they end
Unlike other solutions that I have seen, this actually works: Follow the below simply step carefully to solve this problem
1.download this VPN software(hideman) http://www.mediafire.com/download/4b5mato1mtb7vrk/net.hideman_2.1.apk
Or you can still download any other vpn software that can change your ip but I used hideman
2.After you have installed this software on your phone, open it and click on country of connection and choose United State then connect
3. Now open your playstore and download any app
This is just idea from : http://www.droid-life.com/2013/08/0...-is-invalid-error-for-many-during-app-updates . I did not take credit for it.
