You need 10 posts or more, which is hardly difficult if you have something worthy of the development thread

[Q] S-OFF ?

So I just rooted and I am wondering if this is considered S-OFF? I am new to Samsung phones. I have had all HTC in the past. Also, how do I go about checking if I do indeed have S-OFF?
Thanks

Not to be rude (the video does that for us already), but I don't think this [Q] thread should've been created in the dev section. [READ] the forum rules.
P.S.
Out of the 4 million+ members, someone's bound to still love you!
oh so sorry im in the precious little dev area....just a question

I think there needs to be a reading comprehension test as well as search feature hunt to even gain membership. There is tooooo many people lacking these basic skills here.

This website is the best of internet for mobiles.
The work and support of the users of XDA is incredible.
Thank's!
Good thing to hear that you're enjoying the site.
XDA is the best mobile support website forever.
XDA is indeed a great site
It's one of those few sites that makes me look forward to things.
I've been on XDA so much these last days when there is new JB releases here and there for the S3. Great fun.

Wow. That's such an insightful post.
It's really quite shocking that out of approximately 4.5 million users that you'd think you're the only user here who thinks that this is "the greatest development forum".
May I make a suggestion?
Instead of jumping through random threads across XDA to tell people pointless stuff just to get up to 10 posts, you actually devote a bit of your time to reading threads such as :-
Forum Rules
Postcount limit in the developmental fora
Get the most out of XDA
XDA New User Guide
Now, you might be thinking that reading all of them might take quite a bit of time, and you're right. But it's either spend the time to read and follow what is said in those threads, or keep on doing what you are and quickly find that a moderator has deleted your posts because they're spamming.
The choice is yours
Oh, and please don't think that those threads were written for people like you just to ignore. That would be a really silly presumption to make and you'd quickly find out that those threads are in place to make this a much better place for all of us.
However, if you're struggling to think of how to get a legitimate 10 posts, then you should start off by answering peoples question in the General and Q&A sections for your device.
Much obliged

Receive notification when OP is edited.

Is there such thing as receiving a notification when the first post of the thread I am subscribed to has been edited? It would be especially helpful on the developers' subforum.
It would be nice but no there is no way to get a notification when the op is edited.
Sent from my Nocturnalized One XL using Forum Runner
No need to worry though, because usually OPs post a reply in the thread that the first post has been edited. Like "updated to 2.1 version, please check the first post".

Unfortunately, that is caused by people posting stuff in the Dev threads that shouldn't be there. If people could actually understand what the Dev threads are for and not post cr4p in there like "Thanks" or "Why doesn't this work - I haven't bothered searching".

Hi !
Sorry to say , but this was already done , please take a look here !
Next time it would be nice to verify, if what you want to post is not already done .
FORUM RULES
1. Search before posting.
Use one of our search functions before posting or creating a new thread. Whether you have a question or just something new to share, it's very likely that someone has already asked that question or shared that news.

Well I am mocking him because he deliberately defied the rules. He plainly said he does not follow rules, and in one post he told me to f... off.
I think mockery is justified in this case.

Tbh he is correct it would be much better if you put all the download links in th OP so they are easier to find, all you are doing is creating a huge thread with only your posts in and no one will bother reading throught them all

Hello @snifing
In regards to your comment above to the Xda Moderator. You can't delete any post, but you can remove the content of that post. And from what I can see is exactly what you did here. Next time your going to make a thread with a big list of apks, please put them all in the first post for everyone to find them. Not make 17 post for all 17 apks. Makes no sense and just creates way way to much clutter! Look below at how it would look in one post...

Apks
App-1
App-2
App-3
App-4
App-5
And so...
And please have a look at the rule below.
5. Create a thread or post a message only once.
As a large forum, we don't need unnecessary clutter. You're free to edit your message as you like, so if you do not receive an answer, revisit your message and see if you can describe your problem better. Not everyone is online at the same time so it might take a while before you receive an answer.
