Hello folks,
I was searching for a fix for the following problem but couldn´t find any.
THe following is bothering when listening to music on my HTC Touch HD:
When I use the Power toggle while playing music (to switch off the screen) and then use the START/PAUSE buttons on my Bluetooth remote the screen allways comes back on.
This is very bothering, since this greatly reduces the battery life and unwanted button presses are pre-programmed.
The problem is not inside the Manila player, I have tried Pocketplayer 3.71 with automatic screen deaktivation with the same result.
Can anyone tell me what regkeys need to be edited to get the screen not to toggle when the play/pause key is pressed, or if there´s no such key, weather there is a program that doas the trick?
Best regards

I can't find any independent volume control on the TF3D music tab

I don't think so...well I don't own a Touch Pro2 but I've used Touch Flo3D before...
This is one of the reasons why I hesitate from getting a Touch Flo 3D phone. I feel that the MP3 player is incomplete.
Well, why not using the VolumeDown/Up keys on the left side? It's the same like an application-integrated volume control ...!

I have a question about that.
I was in the library today, and as such, my mobile needs to be on 'vibrate' or 'silent', but I also want to listen to music at the same time.
The only way I could listen to music was to turn the volume up, and thus the phone wasn't on vibrate anymore, which meant when I got SMS's and phone calls, the phone went off blaring =="
Any ideas?
In the volume screen you have two settings System and Ring, set the ring to silent and leave the System alone
That works only when you disable the non-stereo handsfree function in the bt profile of the headset. At least that's what happened with my old Elf. Haven't tried it on my Rhodium yet, but know for sure that with both profiles selected it will ring anyway.

If you need the separated Volume controls for system and ring, search for VolumeControl 1.x in the HD section! This might work on our Rhodiums as well!
hey i am haviing a major problem with cyanogenmod 7 and i have selected a song as ringtone. firstly, a wrong song plays as ringtone and that song will play always even if i change the ringtones. the default ringtone was ok then i changed to a song and from then a new song from my list keeps on playing on call. secondly, when i miss a call, my ringtone goes off but a random song is played on my phone n when i check, my music player is off. the only way to turn the new song off after the missed call, is to drop down the notification bar.
please hlep. my cyanogenmod version is 7.1.0
thanks
It has to do with the profile settings.
Go to settings, Profile and put the profile on default
You'll be good 2 go.
And it's not an issue with CM7, There are so much options available in this ROM.
You can see it as a disadvantage, but it's definitely not.
I also had this issue of my own ignorance
I just switched from cm7 to the SOS X Rom and now something weird is happening.
when I'm listening to music I double tap the headset control button to skip a song or I can tripple tap to repeat/skip to previous track. however now when I double or tripple press the dialer launches and instantly calls the latest number in my recent calls log followed by the song skipping or restarting.
does anyone know why and/or how to fix? I can't find any headset controls in the Rom settings.
I'm running the "SOS X/S/N" and the player I'm using is the "Power amp" with skullcandy FMJ ear buds.
also, if I clear my recent calls log the dialer doesn't launch. if there's something I missed let me know please.
thanks in advance for any help.
Hi,
Not sure if anyone else has raised this, but when im playing music, i tend to use bluetooth or headset controls to adjust the volume or skip tracks. However whenever i receive notifications or a popup message, the controls stop working.
I guess this is linked to the lockscreen controls for music. Whenever i can use the lockscreen playback controls, remote control functions work. When it disappears, they dont .
Anyone got any idea on how i could keep the playback controls persistent, regardless of notifications, so that remote control buttons will always work?
Thanks in advance.
