This started about a week ago. I opened the stock gallery and noticed that the folders had pictures that were not supposed to be there:

The "screenshots" and "edited folders had a picture of an icon.. From an icon pack(s) that I deleted a month ago.
Then I noticed they were in my camera folder..
And when you select one of these icons it will first show the picture of the icon, resize and then be replaced by the correct picture..
a picture of me making a giant bubble.
Anyone have any ideas? I deleted these icons a while ago and this happened out of no where. Looking through the files on the phone and everything looks fine. I've started using quickpic more regularly because the problem is only in the stock gallery. Any help is appreciated!

Happened to me as well. I downloaded some icons and was trying to manually replace icons in Apex Launcher with the ones I downloaded. If I went through the stock gallery I would get the wrong icon for the thumbnail. Worked fine the first time, then this happened. I had to use Root Explorer to change the icons.
Wipe the app's data, it should fix this problem.. Something happens to the database and only way to fix that I know of is to clear it's data.
yes! Thank you! I'm not sure why I didn't try that.
It was just so strange to me that it was using pictures I deleted a long time ago.

I've cleared the cache and data on my phone more times than I can count and I'm using a new microsd card but no matter what I do, when I launch the gallery I always have a "Drop Box" folder with this old Facebook photo in it. How the hell do I get rid of this thing? Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks for the suggestion but when I long press there is no option to delete. I'm running SkyRaider 3.0 RC2 I just noticed this file only appears in the standard android gallery, when browsing the HTC gallery it's not there.
Bump
I'm still experiencing this issue and the folder appears regardless of what ROM I'm using. I've also done countless wipes and factory resets that have not helped the situation. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
This displays as a result of having photos in your picasa web album. Go to picasa remove any photos you have, or use this new information to enjoy a new place to drop photos
Once you remove the album the dropbox folder will go away.
Hi all, i've got a problem with my Nexus, first of all i apologize for my bad english.
My Nexus is not rooted.
Yesterday i had enough of the default theme so i downloaded from the Google play store: Apex launcher, UCCW with Google Now skin, 300.000+ wallpapers, weather eye, wifi onoff and data onoff. After i installed apex launcher and i changed my home screen, i changed the wallpaper, so i used 300.000+ wallpapers. But after that i noticed that the phone was really laggy, so i uninstalled it. That day i saw that from my work i wasn't statisfacted so i uninstalled all of those apps i installed before. Unfortunately my phone was still laggy, and now every 10 second of usage i can see a frame decrease. I'm not able to open some apps and today evening i noticed that it can't recognise the charger (i tried to change charger but no way). Do i have to do a factory reset? HELP pls.
I've got two screens of the CPU usage:

I cant find the xml that controls the blue color of the selected text above.
2. Next is when you crop a picture, I have looked all through SecGallery2.apk and SamsungCamera.apk
I cant find the xml to change the bars of the crop square...
3. Is the SamsungCamera.apk, I have gone through every file located in res, and cant find how to make the text in the menus green.
Looked through all files, to get rid of blue text, can't find what controls it. Please help!
I have looked and looked, I must be missing something...
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
not sure if you solved your issue but would you please send me the apks, i'll take a look at them and see if i can help. i have the S2 and i'm doing all green too. the only thing i can't figure out is the blue text when composing a new sms.
Ok so I am on Project X. Agat GB27 Kernal.
I have had a couple issues since flashing just haven't had time to post. For one, I can not send/recieve picture messages. When I send a pic it shows up to me like it sent successfully but the person I send them to does not receive them. Also when someone sends me a pic it just has a button to download the pic and when I click it, it does nothing.
Second my camera is very buggy. When I open it, 90% of the time I do not have a live display, just a black screen. I can blindly take the pic and it turns out fine, but the display does not work before I take the pic. It also gets a weird tint when it DOES show a display. Same with videos, When I take a video I will get a display but it is VERY laggy and has a bunch of weird colors. After I take the video and I view it, It actually turns out fine. But it is the display as I am trying to take the pic/video that is screwy. Any ideas?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
How did you flash? I have not experienced any of those issues?
Check your md5sum and make sure it was a good download, also I just released a new version you could try (v3.4)

After updating to Android 7.0 Nougat on my G5 (LG LS992) all my app icons changed. See attached picture for examples. The LG apps that come installed by default got simple, unique, all white backgrounds(the phone, contacts, and messenger icons at the bottom). User installed apps get one of seven new, all white backgrounds. I place one of each background type on example picture. Some of the backgrounds seem to be in the shape of a letter. There is no discernable pattern to what apps get what backgrounds and I can't find any information about these changes anywhere, no one else seems to be talking about it. Is anyone else seeing this?

I had that same problem and it was driving me nuts because it actually showed those icon labels behind the custom icon pack I was using. I was able to change it by changing the group of icons I wanted to use. I think I did it in Nova Launcher's settings. So if you're using a 3rd party home screen, check to see if you can change it there to Marshmallow's icons, or the system default or something.
