Hi all, i've got a problem with my Nexus, first of all i apologize for my bad english.
My Nexus is not rooted.
Yesterday i had enough of the default theme so i downloaded from the Google play store: Apex launcher, UCCW with Google Now skin, 300.000+ wallpapers, weather eye, wifi onoff and data onoff. After i installed apex launcher and i changed my home screen, i changed the wallpaper, so i used 300.000+ wallpapers. But after that i noticed that the phone was really laggy, so i uninstalled it. That day i saw that from my work i wasn't statisfacted so i uninstalled all of those apps i installed before. Unfortunately my phone was still laggy, and now every 10 second of usage i can see a frame decrease. I'm not able to open some apps and today evening i noticed that it can't recognise the charger (i tried to change charger but no way). Do i have to do a factory reset? HELP pls.
I've got two screens of the CPU usage:

And this was my work before: (the project was: touching a word will open his folder)

Well as the title says ...
I'm using Supa-dLite v3.54.707.3 and this has been a recent flash (a week) and i have not installed many apps.
Anyway i took my sim-card out, turned on phone, disabled radio when i was on, then turned it off and replaced Sim.
When it first booted (this is with sim-in btw) the Date line on the TodayScreen read: "terca-feira, 6 de Novembro de 2007" ... where it used to say it in english!!!
In my confusion i did a soft reset, and now the following has happened: (note the red bits)
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
Further Resets do not do anyhting now ..
hmm any guidance? Reg keys that are to do with language of today screen items?
(Btw NOTHING else has changed. only these 2 items on the today screen)
CRAZY!!!
Thanks guys

Ok this morning i've also noticed:
hmmm why french/spanish!?!?!
*bump*
anyone?
this is kinda making things weird .. hard reset is not a good option right now ..
Try this: go to "Settings->System->Regional Settings" and select English.
I have an unlocked non branded HTC Desire and today I was messing around with root access, but in the end decided to go back to the stock ROM.
Now I can't download the additional HTC widgets (notes), it says "Unable to download widgets. Tap to try again.". I can't resolve this problem.
SOLVED
Figured it out. I had a custom locale setting, set via morelocale 2, as soon as I changed it to a locale that came preinstalled on the phone, I could again see the widgets.
I have the same problem. When I wan't to add a widget and select get more htc widgets it says unable to download widgets.tap to try again. Can you explain how exactly did you make it work?
Thank you

same here , what have you done
Settings>Language & keyboard>Select language and than select something from the list. Works fine after that.
I had the same problem and MaTiCeK-'s post pointed me in the right direction. It also fixed my 'Current location' problem. Whatever I tried, for the last 3-4 weeks it wouldn't tell me the city name. Changing the language to one of the preinstalled ones fixed it
Thanks
So I was messing in the settings somewhere and enabled a setting that when the screen goes off, it goes back to my homescreen on unlock. Meaning say i'm sending an email and set the phone down and screen goes off...when I turn it back on, it goes to my homescreen and not to the email I was composing...I have looked for 40 mins and cannot find it..
Anyone have an idea where this setting is???
Thanks in advance.
You sure that setting exists in Launcher Pro? I just looked through every screen in LP's preferences and couldn't find a setting to match the behavior you speak of. Maybe it's a ROM specific setting?
Yeah, this definitely isn't a Launcher Pro setting. Can you tell us what ROM you're running? Perhaps a modified lock screen, too?
I specifically remember checking the box but cannot remember where. I am running Fresh 3.3 on NA 4.1.9
Thanks for looking, guys...if its not LP...I wonder if it was beautiful widgets...or reg settings...its so annoying.
Edit: FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!

"Edge of Night" theme
It has no widget Otherwise a decent update.
I bet we see one in the next full update.
Any update to this application? Curious if a fix was pushed with a widget included.
This thread is obsolete now. See the latest version here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2218441
They added a widget, but it's still just as goofy with simple UI bugs as the original FC09 VVM app has. (Constant black rounded background behind the app name, and the name "Voicemail" is cut off.)
Hello.
This is my first time using a smartphone, and I'm new to IT as well, so forgive me for being dumb.
I recently got a Nokia G20 (Model number: TA-1336). It has Android 12.
Whenever I "shake" the phone, or just move it a little, the screen turns on. I believe it has something to do with motion sensing, but I couldn't find anything in the settings to turn this feature off.
Please help me.
On another note, is it possible to get rid of the google search bar at the bottom of the home screen? Without disabling the Google app, if possible.
Thanks very much in advance.
If this has been asked before, I'm very sorry for causing trouble.
Thank you very much WilliamMike, your advice fixed the first one!
The search bar, however, I still can't remove. The internet says to either install some NovaLauncher (which I'd prefer not to) or disable the Google app (this could break some features I assume).
Sorry for taking up your time, I appreciate your help!

Any idea where to go from here?
