Hi All,
As you know I was the one who brought you the Sensation Theme and more recently the New Senzation ROM. I am still working on that project, but honestly am getting bored with Blue and Green Themes.
Therefore I ask that you as a community recommend some different themes for me to try and port. Please include a link to the original.
Look forward to your ideas....
How about a dark purple and black theme? With no battery % or a gold and black theme..

Back in my HTC Hero days, there was a white and dark gray/ black theme called GTX and the exact opposite called XTG by signals23, also another was the Steel My Elegance theme from Gomorrah (sp?)... would be nice. Let me see if I can find any links.
Edit: Links added.
This theme was awesome on the epic 4g.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1061407

Its a green theme but not like the ones weve seen so far, so its a 50/50. The same person also made these 2. Well, ported anyways.
Emotionless Beast, one of my favorites from the OG Epic. Thanks.

Silver and Black would always be elegant. Just my .02 cents worth.
I will be coming out with a group of themes... and no, none of them are green or blue In about a month I would suppose.. maybe sooner.
I would love something with pastel colors (not girly, just pastel). Don't just focus on one or two colors, try three at minimum. I've always imagined a theme along the lines of this Kirby game. Without all the super bezeled/embossed stuff, too, because too much starts to look tacky
I'd also love a darker grey theme (with very delicate gradients) with accents of light orange, lighter red, and mustard yellow, etc.
Maybe a theme with the statusbar on the bottom of the screen
Man I've been photoshopping for ages, I need to just learn to theme for myself
I would love to see a theme with deep purple, bright turquoise, and hot pink on black. It looks tropical and awesome in my Hancent app.
Something multi-colorful...I agree about the three or more colors idea.
I like the silver on black idea though, but silver is metallic and would have to appear dimensional in order to truly look silvery. Something like the ObsidianAlloy clock theme of Beautiful Widgets. Otherwise it would basically be black and light gray.
Thanks for being open to input from others!
I would like to see a matte/carbon fiber theme (with maybe some very minor silver accents). I think it would give it a real simple, and elegant look.
Similar to this Matted blues theme but with Carbon Fiber/silver accents instead of blue.
Grey with turquoise would be sweet

Theme Information
Hello Everyone,
Just to reiterate I am not a themer myself, I am just a glorified copy/paste specialist. Therefore what I am looking for is existing themes from other android device that I can port over. So far I have seen a few and looking for more to help decide. Thanks.

I would LOVE to see these ported. These themes are to die for in my opinion. Although they have green/blue, they also have orange/red. The orange one revamped would be AWESOME. Especially if you made a lot more items orange accented and darkened the orange just a tad so it stands out.
I love all the ICS themes out, along with the minimal black and white, but I was really hoping for a combination of the two. I was thinking of an ICS theme, but without the ICS blue integrated into it and instead keeping text, notification bar, etc all white. Any other interest in this? I've never themed before and while I would like to learn, I don't exactly have a bunch of spare time to work on it. Just curious if anyone would be interested in taking on this task.
I'd like to see this done

+10 ... but I doubt anyone will do it, reason been there's another black and white minimal but maybe we get lucky
I must say that banks has pretty much already did this and it rocks.
I assume you're talking about his minimal black and white theme...it is awesome, but what I was proposing is a more stock ICS feel (dialer, notification bar, stock ICS icons) but with the minimal black and white color scheme. I might have to try to find some time to learn to theme.

Banksmi has Minimal Black theme out already for EL29 but another is always welcome. Here's what the ICS one looks like on my Nexus. Icons are custom icon pack...oh I love it but its made for regular Nexus S so no 4g...but you get the idea of what it would look like...SICK!

The only problem with Black and White themes is that some icons will be black/white and others (from the market) will be colored and it creates an obsolete theme. That's the reason I haven't made a Black/White theme myself.

Yeah, especially gapps. Its something you would constantly stay on top of but even hitting the dialer, contacts, messaging and status bar icons is enough. People like B-Boy, Decalex, Rujelus handle the GMail, Dropbox, Google+, etc inverted apps

Just wondering if anyone's ever seen something like that:
I'm not talking about a "Black and White" themed rom, I'm talking about something more lower-level, kind of like how you can adjust the settings on a color TV set, and make EVERYTHING black/white/grayscale...all apps, widgets, video, i.e. EVERYTHING.
(I've noticed sometimes when I'm using a black and white keyboard, and am inside an app's interface that's also black/white (like this XDA app) that it's a REALLY clean look and would love the whole interface to be that way too. (Reversible, of course...)
Any ideas?
Would be cool. Never seen it as an option though
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA
There was a feature in a rom for the Xperia x10 that allowed full control over stuff like that. It was a filter system but had an option to create your own filter. Never made it black and white but I'm sure it was possible. I'll boot up my old x10 later and check it out. But it was built into the rom. Not an app

There's an app on the market called color filter service that looks like what ur looking for. Its 99 cents though

Im pretty sure that is an option in CM for battery life and dev or something.

I just bought this, tried it, but refunded it.
It's cool, but essentially what it does is lays a rgb filter OVER everything, which you can adjust, but you can still see the original colors undneath, no matter what...
Thanks for the thought, though, I wish it could be that simple.

I remember something similar in CM, but I thing the choices were all colors, and didn't affect video, IIRC...But, it tells me that it probably can be done. I'm not on CM right now, but maybe I'll flash over just to make sure...

Not recording, no.
I truly want the entire OS in black and white: so, say when I pulled up the newest Avengers trailer in HD, I'd see The Hulk saving Ironman in its full, retro, grayscaled glory. (Maybe it's silly, but I think it'd look pretty cool.)
Check out "Blink" in the playstore. You can customize your LED to any color you like for various notification types.
I HAVE tested this to work. While testing colors, turn the screen off during the test to see the color you chose. ENJOY!

May I ask what color does the ion supports? I have been using "Light Flow" but the LED only shows purple no matter what color I choose.
Yes, so far the colors that I've used... red, blue, green, purple, blue green (teal), and orange. My yellows end up orange and my pinks end up red with this program.
Give it a shot...you wont be disappointed.

I always go change the file from 1000 to 20,000 to make it bright but then have to do it again every freaking time i reboot so annoying

The initd script sets the value on boot. Works great.
Hopefully this is the right place for this thread....
I feel like I am looking for something so basic and I can't believe I cant find what I am looking for. I really just want a simple black and white theme for my Note 5.
In a perfect situation I would really just like the stock icons but all of the Headers and menus and sliders have a black and white theme to them. In a realistic world I would be fine if the icon pack was changed, but I just cant find anything this simple. All of them in the theme store try to do way too much, and many of the custom ones in the XDA Theme threads are really amazing, just way more than I am looking for. Have you seen any that seem to fit what I am looking for?
We have the same problem. I have been looking for a simple black theme for awhile now.

Thanks for the response. White Tiger is a good example of trying to do too much, imo. Minu white dark has an error where notifications appear as white on white text, and they haven't fixed it yet....I hadn't seen minu white, so I'll give that one a run. Thanks!
Minu white is really close....the problem is that all of the shortcut text is black, so you need to have a light or white background....I like everything else on this theme well enough, but wish I could use a dark background...

Another one that is close, it has a greenish accent color instead of white. Otherwise it would be perfect, but as it is it is just close for me...
If you are still interested, I found one called "Fantasy_Dark_V2" that is ok. It changes the default icons, but they arent too annoying. Also, it is like $2 so there is that as well....still staying hopeful that I will find one!!
