TPU cases

Has anyone found a TPU case for this phone yet?

Nope...I have been checking ebay on a daily basis

I have a little trick I will share with you on TPU aka PLASTIC cases...
If its sticky/tacky/oily, wash it in VERY WARM water with ONE DROP of dish washing detergent and rub it all over the case inside and out. Allow it to dry or dry it off WELL and it will no longer be sticky/tacky/oily... worked great on my iphone 4 phone case before switching to mytouch 4g... yes I RETURNED the iphone 4 and cancelled my account (no cancel fee!) on att to go to mytouch, and I would do it again.. its 10x the phone the iphone is and I have yet to drop a SINGLE CALL, I lost 10 a week on iphone.... att SUCKS here in hawaii...

I am looking for one too.... i am kind of using my old nexus one tpu case for now...it barely fits with a little force ...haha i might mod it to fit better

Looks like mobilecityonline is expecting to have some TPU cases soon. No pictures but you can pre-order.

It's harder than those silicone gel cases and fits much more snug, doesn't get linty or come off when you take it in and out of your pocket

So these are like the Epik cases then? I think I'll go ahead and pre-order one of these - I need something that will protect the phone but let me slide it in and out of my back pocket. What I really want is something like Agent18's cases for the iPhone 3Gs - I loved that case - but alas, I haven't found anything close to it yet.

I can't say I'm well schooled on TPU cases, but there have been hard plastic cases all over eBay for weeks. I considered this one, but I think I'm gonna stay bareback...

Those are hard cases, not TPU cases.

I just got my case too. Ordered it on the 12th, payed the extra $2 for shipping, and got it today. Fits nicely too.

watched the video again and they changed it.. the kickstand looks thin, so i dont know... also they said the holster is optional, this wouldnt be good cause 49 bucks for just the case when others sell it with everything sucks. yeah the case is heavy duty but i dont know.

It says "Includes a very durable holster" on the pre-order page. Where does it say the holster is optional? Not that I use it much, but for $50...

She is saying "optional" as in it's optional to use it. The holster is included with the case.
The coupon code gives you $5 off and free shipping for a total savings of $19.99. So they normally charge $15 for shipping!???? Thats just plain ridiculous. I was going to preorder, but I think I will wait for them to hit Amazon. Their iPhone 4 cases are going for $27.99 with free shipping on Amazon.

this case is a beast! I could probably throw this at someone without hesitation!
But without adding the "optional rubber silicone case" i dont think the 3500 will fit like the defender did "ghetto rigged" like OP said in the other thread.
Love the looks of the Ballistic case though!

I have a Trident Cyclops for my wife, she also likes to wear tight pants. It a great case with excellent protection and relatively slim.
The Defender has had some complaints regarding quality. They tried a different manufacturer, so that may be part of the problem.

For me the major difference is the fact that the speakers are also protected where on my defender the speakers are open.

Another case reviewed guys
Diztronic updated and modded their case and now came with version 3.0 . There are some nice changes like getting rid of the tpu buttons and putting a little more gloss.

You mentioned this works with the extended battery, does that include the verizon model and does it leave any abnormal bulge. The high gloss case from verizon fits really nice but the speaker cutout has a small gap. With OCD its very annoying.

+1. Great case and great customer service. Even if there's a better case out there for my need, I'd still buy a Diztronic case, simply because I want to support companies with old-fashioned customer service.

Fits fine, loved the case...
I have to say though, after using it for a week I took it off, and I had forgotten how slim and light the phone is.
Going caseless now...

I couldn't find the Black Matte v3 cases on Amazon during CES. I ended up ordering a transparent black which I'm unsure if I'll like. I really wanted the black matte as shown in the video and seeing it makes me want it more.

I would love white, but I bought my GF a white TPU case last year and the thing is dank now. I bought her a pink one when I ordered my Diztronic case.
I'll see about the smoke gray. It might not be too bad. I like my SGP Black case now because I don't even notice its on. The black blends in with the screen so well it just feels normal.

You're right. I bought a white TPU case from Diztronic for my Thundebolt last year, and in a couple months, the color went from (somewhat) white to a ugly combo of ugly yellow/pinkish white. Of course it was a glossy version, so perhaps a matte white combo would work better... maybe...
Right now I have a Hybrid S-line TPU that I got for a buck from eBay, and I just love how the white rim of the case contrasts so well against the black face of the phone. It doesn't fit with the extended battery cover though, which is a bummer.

is there anyway to get 2 day shipping if i order a case from cruzerlite?? i went on there site but i only see standard shipping? i need a case bad.. no sprint stores have them.. best buy dont have them.. radio shack.. no one has any nexus 5 cases at all.. so i want to order one.. will have to find a family memeber to order for me cause i dont have a bank card anymore..

For my last 3 phones I evertime just had a normal TPU case without any "extra armor" and no phone ever took some damage of falling. This is a great video he made! It shows that for normal daily usage an "armor" case is pretty oversized and a normal TPU layer (like I am going to get from Diztronic for my N5 like I have for my GNex) is absolutely enough protection.
My GNex looks like on the first day I got it (almost 2 years) and I used it first with a very cheap TPU case and then with the Diztronic ones (in this time I dropped the phone lot of times)

There may not be phyical damage, but I used to use a simple tpu case like this with my iphone and even though it didnt look damaged, I did overtime damage lots of internal components. I had to replace, both microphones, front facing camera and charger port. Having something with a little more shock absorption is nice in the long run.

Looks like two models to me, standard tpu (3x style to choose from), or spi-froce. The case in the video looks like a blue Androidified A2, but any of the standard TPU would feature the same protection IMO.

Where did you order from? We ordered from Amazon at like 9PM EST and it shipped out the next day..

Oh wow, I'm glad I decided to use a case from day 1.
I bought the red cruzerlite circuit case.
Unfortunately, cruzerlite cases tend to peel of my screen protector when applied, so I use spigen ultra hybrid instead.
It's a shame because I really like the color.

ordered from their site, i should've ordered from amazon and it would have been here in two days. I swear it's like carrying a baby around. I don't even take it to work I use my nexus 4 there because I am nervous. I got the teal TPU case.

Alcantara Cases

Any of tou guys seen any anywhere for the 10+? I had them on all of my notes, so if you spot one, please post.

Ditched them and went leather. So sad.

Not really sad. Mine got pretty beat up and gunky. True leather should hold up better, but the feel of the Alcantara was nice.

I always liked the Alcantara’s non slip properties. You can place it almost anywhere on quite an angle without slipping off. I have a habit to place it on my knee while I need to do something. To date, no mishaps. Famous last words?

I take the leather, dab it with olive oil to get it soft and darker and then beat the crap out of it. In a short time you have a nice patina and good grip. The leathers always feel slippery at first but you need to wait it out until that coating comes off. Oil helps to take it away quickly and I like the look after.

ali express or bang good (one of the chinese sites) had note 9 alcantera cases cos I bought one. They are replica obvs.

Anyone found a slim leather case or a slim case with good grip.

What about the ones on Samsung site? I'm considering one of those.

I was unimpressed no protections at the bottom and it didn't even look or feel like leather but the inside felt like suade. The outside was slippery.

I bought the blue leather case using the 50% off on Samsung site for members. Its very nice and my fav even over 3 spigen cases I bought.
