Need more information; as in...
What OS are you using? How familiar are you with it?
What's your current level of experience?
What exactly did you do to "reset to factory settings"?
Have you flashed a ROM to your Kindle or leave it stock?
When you say "it goes to the twrp then goes to the orange kindle fire", are you saying that it boots up to the TeamWin blue curtain splash screen then goes back to the stock boot logo? Or is it something completely different?
Are you familiar with the difference between TWRP and FireFireFire?
Based on your description and depending on your current understanding of how the Kindle Fire works, your problem could be one (or more) any number of things.

Hi,
You download Kindle_Fire_Utility_v0.9.6 and run it.
Then choose 1 then 1 ( normal mode). KF is live again.
If still live again, you try Kindle Unbrick
If still live again, can you try factory cable and run command
fastboot -i 0x1949 boot twrp-blaze-2.0.0RC0.img
In TWRP, you can install rom stock kf ( download rom for KF from Amazon)

reseting bootmode sounds realistic but as you can see in his post above he says his kindle goes to recovery I suggest doing very little till you have fully explained your situation with better clarity as soupmagnet recommended in his response.

sorry guys
You guys are right, i should explain better and ill try to, I don't have much knowledge of the Kindle fire. OKay so, I have a kindle tht runs andriod software 6.3.1. I've recently rooted my kindle using 0.9.6 utility. I've upgraded my kindle to go launcher ex. I wanted to reset my kindle to how i bought it at the beginging. So i went to device menu and put it to factory resent, which didnt reset everything. Then i turned it off and tried going to twrp to see if i can find a reset to normal button. There wasn't any, and after twrp when it goes to the orange kindle logo, it just stays there and doesnt do anything. The kindle fire logo isnt lighting up or changing at all. So i need some help on what to do, thanks hope this information is better

If you just want a factory Reset then just flash the Kindle Fire Stock ROM.
First go into TWRP.
Just to be safe go to wipe and wipe cache, dalvik's cache, and then do a factory reset. Then put the Kindle Fire Stock ROM zip file on your kindle fire. To do this go into TWRP and select Mount. Now you can acess your sd card so put it on there. Now go to install and you should see the .zip file. Install it and you have a brand new Stock ROM(basically a factory reset).

Thanks for the help that you gave me, I tried it but it just won't work, when i plug in my kindle into the computer it doesnt show up, thats one of the main problems too. Thanks anyways tho.

So you couldn't do it because it wont detect your device? Did you try going to TWRP and pressing mount? If that doesn't work, then I'm not really sure what you can do. It should detect it. Try a hard reset and mount again. Sorry that I cant really help you right now
Could you maybe give anymore information? Like what it says when you plug it into your computer.

You'll find, when you read the thread posted above, what the "stuck at Kindle Fire logo" means, along with what would cause adb and fastboot to fail connecting to your computer. You may have to read more than two paragraphs though.

Sorry, what you said doesn't make a whole lot of sense because you've attached a photo of a recovery screen that you claim to have wiped... and that's not even TWRP you have in your photo, that's CWMR. Maybe you'd like to go back a few posts and read the guide in the link that was provided earlier.
Then, you'll need to describe what you have installed on your device, what appears to be broken, and exactly where you are getting stuck int he process of reinstalling the Kindle Fire software.

[Q] Bricked my kindle fire!!!! PLZ HELP...

My kindle fire is stuck at FIREFIREFIRE bootloader ( the screen which has a kindle fire logo and an android logo above it)....
My conditions are like this:
Kindle fire - ROOTED
ROM - Kindle Fire Stock Rom
TWRP - Installed
FIREFIREFIRE - Installed
And i could'nt find 'kindle fire' in my windows device manager when i plugged my kindle on my pc...
Help will be appreciated...
This is a must-read: [GUIDE] Kindle Fire For Beginners
Be sure to read the first 3 posts.
not finding ' kindle ' , or 'android device' on my windows 7 device manager...so how shud i get rid of it? has anybody experienced it?
Long press on the Fire power button does nothing - doesn't launch TWRP in recovery mode. Entering commands in a Command window from my laptop isn't getting through to my Fire. And, as I mention above, the Kindle Fire device is not available on my Device Manager
After reading the guide potestasx offered you, do you you understand why your device is stuck at the boot screen?
I think i've been stuck at boot loader due to lack of battery....
I fully charged it after that...
but its still stuck...
Cant find 'kindle' or "Kindle' on my Device manager...
So dont know whether i on Fastboot mode or Normal mode...
I assume that i m on fastboot mode...
i tried installing drivers from 'install_drivers' in 'kindle fire utiltity'...
but none changed...
Known Tricks
If you end up stuck at the yellow triangle, in KF Utility select Boot Normal, wait for it to say <waiting for device> and then press and hold the power button 20 seconds until the fire turns off, then when its off turn it back on. This sometimes happens, I have yet to find a clean solution If you end up stuck with a yellow triangle, do not EVER unplug it. Leave it plugged in. Check the windows drivers to make sure it isnt showing as "kindle" again. Fastboot is different and can cause this.
Please note: If your device can't be seen in fastboot mode, please make sure to install the drivers packaged with this, as it will show up afterwards. You can use the install_drivers.bat with the device plugged in for this.

Not quite. First of all, you're in the wrong bootmode. You just need to change it back to normal and you'll be just fine. The guide posted earlier has information on the different bootmodes, how they work, and eventually how to change them. From your description it should be pretty easy to fix.
You also need to pay attention to the second post of that thread as it will help you verify that your drivers are in order. The third post will give you the necessary tools to fix your problem and any others that may arise.
I will tell you this, after you've changed your bootmode it would be a good idea to reinstall TWRP and then use TWRP to install FFF1.4
Thanx a lot Thepooch...My kindle fire is working now....
thanx.... I m thinking of installing FIREFIREFIRE v.1.4...It has fixed charging mode and other..
It'll help if it happens further...
Thanx again
Your welcome be careful with it now
I thought it's working but it is doing the same thing again again... it is rebooting and sticking to the bootscreen again after using 5 mins.....Cant understand the problem behind it...what to do?

Are you able to boot to recovery? If so, you might try running a backup and then load a custom rom just to test normal boot. I've had bootmode issues twice with the stock rom (6.3 & 6.3.1).

no i cant boot to recovery
How are you trying to get to recovery?
By using FFFv1.4a....

Run fastboot 5001 (full command in the guide thread).
If it says waiting on device, hold the power button until it shuts off and then power it back on. That should alow you to get into recovery.

Yep, that'll do it. The stock roms were not built to update with root/recovery installed. I learned that the hard way, too.

When you're in TWRP, plug Kindle into the computer and go to Mount and then Mount USB. Then transfer a rom to your Kindle. Unmount. Wipe cache, dalvik cache. Then flash the rom. There are tons of Jellybean and ICS roms in the Development section that you can use.
Edit: Here it is a little bit easier to read
1) Let the Kindle boot into TWRP
2) Plug Kindle into Computer and Mount USB (Mount>Mount USB)
3) Download a rom from the Development section
4) Transfer the <whatever the rom name is>.zip to the Kindle
5) Wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache, and Factory Reset
6) Install the rom
7) Reboot and don't make the mistake again. lol.
where is the development section
Thank You Guys!:good::victory:
Sorry to keep bugging but can I unroot from here on.
I download JellyBean and it works fine but I want my kindle back to the original settings-Stock.

Try the MoDaCo GR9 ROM. It's exactly like stock but you have access to play store also and it has some customizations.
Kindle Fire Problems Need HELP
So I just got my kindle fire for my birthday a week and a half ago, and I really wanted to get google play. So I rooted my device using TWRP with the hopes to install Modaco. Well the problem is that now even with installing the drivers the 'path' is not recognized by any thing and I'm not sure if it's bricked (Can access TWRP with a hard reboot in recovery) or the interface is entirely wiped outside TWRP. I would post what it was stated in Wget but this is my first post so gotta wait 9 more posts before pasting apparently. Noob here obviously.... i feel horrible cuz even though it's mine my boyfriend got it for me... and yeah he's severely disappointed. >.>
Any Help is greatly appreciated, a walk through even better. The warranty is void and the store it was bought from will not take returns on KF. Please help Thank you! :crying:
Will add also that it comes up under device manager as two differnt things:
Android ADP Device
&
under USB's:
USB Composite Device (Not Kindle, etc etc)
Next time your online pm me I will help you look at what the problem is

[Q] help With bricked Kindle Fire after edting build.prop

hello, im a pretty BIG noob when it comes to hacking and manipulating android devices. But i did manage to root my kindle fire and install the AOKP jelly bean rom. Afterwards i decided to try and get a few more apps to work with it so i edited the build.prop to try to get the app to recognize my kindle as a Nexus 7. Well it went bad....... really really bad.when i boot it up all i get is the AOKP boot screen except this time it is in landscape and never ending
Now when i plug my kindle in to my Windows 7 PC to Kindle fire Utility (KFU) it shows as adb status: offline and boot status: offline. Also when i plug it in and go to my devices and printers it pops up as just android (not android device). i have also tried to reinstall the drivers but nothing has happened. i am in way over my head and need some serious help. So if you could be of any assistance i would really appreciate it
thank you,

Try plunging into kfu it will say offline but try booting into recovery there, that may help u get into recovery.
Do you have FireFireFire installed (blue Kindle Fire logo)?

If you r Kindle Fire logo isn't blue and white rather than orange and white (or have the yellow triangle), you didn't install FFF.

If you don't have FFF installed as a way to access fastboot and change the bootmode to recovery, you need a factory cable.

Yes you will use it to force the device into fastboot so that you can use kfu to install fff giving easy access to recovery. Then its just a matter of doing a full wipe minus your sdcard or external storage and reflashing aokp.
Thank You All

[Q] Stock Help

Well my sister wanted to unroot her Kindle and went on a forum and messed it up. Now when you turn the Kindle on, you only see the white and orange kindle fire. I tried to reroot it with the KFU 0.9.6. When I try to permanent root it it goes through some actions and say <waiting for device>. Please Help!!!!
Start by getting a factory cable from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1392693 post #9 then return for help.
could you be more specific?
Sure when you flashed stock its caused the shell to go missing or corrupted it. So now you need a factory cable to force it into fastboot in order to install fff and twrp again so that you can do a full wipe (which you didn`t before and that`s why you have this problem) and flash another rom to get it running again. Specific enough?
Where would you get this cable
