I guess adding
App/kineto.apk
App/GanOptimizer.apk
Lib/libkineto.so
Lib/libganril.so
Should help a lot do that and make a logcat and post it here so I could check the logcat for you

Basically the process from sensation to one x should be similar
Just pull the needed files from the stock ics release zip
Should be
Code:
wifi-calling apk
libganril.so
libkineto.so
lib_htcril.so
lib_ril.so
EDIT:
Big whoops I thought this was one s not one x

Don't know why Tmo can't write a standard app for this, have it work like Skype does and ask if you want to call over wifi

Hey guys,
Backup your rom (nandroid) and test the link in my signature for wifi calling for aosp for sensation in my signature.
As far as i know everything should work for you, except mms.
If you get to have some issues - here is what you should do:
Use root explorer or adb to copy your libhtc_ril.so from /system/lib to your sd card. Follow the instructions in my signature. After that use root explorer or adb to copy libhtc_ril.so back to /system/lib. Just try that as a third option, aside from the 2 options in my signature. By the way, option 1 from the post in my signature shouldnt work anyway lol so just do the second one. If it doesnt work - third one i just told you. If that doesnt work eiyher - stand by for more ideas
Let me know if that worked out for yall.
PS - please note that this is ONLY for CM9/AOKP/MIUI(ics).
Good luck, and let the force and the wifi calling be with you lol

But...but...why would you do that to your phone?
Just playin (not really), just download the file in the sensation forum, the one for Sense, and follow step 3 from my little guide-wanna-be from my last post. It should work the same. The only problem might be with libhtc but if you get any issues with it - just restore your old libhtc and see if you still get issues.
Edit: dont forget to backup before you follow any of my advises

then i flashed wificallingics.zip and running fix permissions. No luck. Bootloop
Could you provide specific instructions? I copied the file to the SD as you said. I just want to make sure there weren't any more instructions i missed..

[BOOTANIMATION] Various

Here are some bootanimations I created. Some of these are pointless. I just made them to mess with my friends.
Feel free to add your own.
Im open to input, sugestions, etc....as I want to create a more smoother version.
::Instruction::
Download the zip and place it in /system/media
You should already have a file named bootanimation.zip...simply replace it with the downloaded one, of course renaming to bootanimation.zip
If it doesn't work in /system/media than
try in /system/local

I really really really like this I'm not complaining just providing some constructive criticism, the 2 things I would do to make this perfect would be some minor resizing as well as maybe removing a frame or to or somthing to help with smoothness I lags a little to much. But over all I really like this and I will deff keep for long time. I don't know how you guys do this stuff but keep it up! Hopfully you can create a v 1.0.1 of this a little smoother!

Is this variation any different than the one from this thread (Post #3)?
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...related-wallpapers-boot-logos-animations.html
I've been running that bootanimation for a few weeks now and really love it (especially with the custom Joker Boot Image I use) but if this one is resized different or anything i'd like to know.
Yeah is pretty much the same except its rotated to fit full screen. I know it probably won't show much, but I want to create a version with as much quality as possible sized just right for our screens.
When I get to a computer ill be working on a another version, hopefully as smooth as the one from that post.
Thanks for all the advice and input, I really appreciate it. Keep it comming.

I'm still working on a better quality version. Hopefully I can pull it off. Learning as I go.
Let me know which version you like. I'm going to try and up the quality and smoothness of both. I'll most likely be dropping the first version since a good copy exist in the other thread from post 6th.
Thanks and enjoy!
just tried v1 and it was a bit laggy at first but after about 3 secs it went to normal speed and looked very nice im gooing to try v2 and see how that is.
dl version 2 right now
I can't seem to get this to work.. I stuck the .zip into the system/media (where my original .zip was). For some reason it still shows the old boot animation. I also don't have a system/local path..
Sent from my HTC T-Mobile G2 using Tapatalk
EDIT: I'm not sure if the system/media worked for everyone else...
But after looking around in the system files, I ended up finding a second bootanimation.zip in data/local
I moved the marvel zip there, renamed it to bootanimation.zip, rebooted, and it works fine now.

Anyone know what app handles the 611 redirection ? Thought it would be 411 & more, but I got rid of that and 611 still redirects.
In case anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about, try calling 611 (customer service) - the phone actually drops to another app that turns on the speaker and talks to you there - it's OBNOXIOUS.

CM Stock Dialer + Smart Dialing

I found this somewhere and finally pushed it. It is the standard ICS Dialer, but now with Smart Dialing FINALLY!
I used Root Explorer.
Rename /system/app/Contacts.apk to Contacts.apk.bak
Copy new Contacts.apk to /system/app
Set Permissions the same as the old Contacts.apk (rw-r--r--) [screenshot below]
Reboot
Requires Root (and RootzBoat 4.0.3 rom?)
Something tells me it was the custom CM9 dialer. So if this is an issue I can remove the links.

I was using this on an RootzBoat AOSP 4.0.3 rom, maybe that's a reason. Have you guys tried just installing it? I also did it on a clean install.
Try:
Clearing cache from Settings>Applications
Fix Permissions
Installing it
etc
I can't see an AOSP rom being all that different from stock.
Off Topic: I think our phones can take screen shots out of the box? I think I've accidentally took a few but never figured out the correct combination of button presses. I'd like to take a few screen shots of the dialer in action. Hopefully I'm not completely out of my mind and the Nexus CAN take screenshots natively.

Thanks, updated first post. Great indirect way to finally figure out what I was really after!
This is an AWESOME feature. MUCH needed. Plus saves me from downloading an alternative. I hope Google implements this into all of their stock dialer builds.
If this does require a custom rom, then I'd say its work it. I'm using RootzBoat which is pretty much pure stock. Doesn't feel any different then when I was on stock 4.0.2.
Worked first time on AOKP. Very nice, thank you for sharing.
Does not work on ARHD 2.1.1, possible because it's 4.02. Moved and set permissions correctly. Oddly enough, if I try to straight up install it it says "there is a problem parsing this package."

You need these libs. unzip the attachment and copy the libs to /system/libs and change the permisiions to RW-R-R then install the polaris apk that you have. I do this on every rom i flash and i never had any problems. Currently running CM10 with no issues
Please note - This is NOT flashable in recovery

Shouldn't matter. I used the one in the OP (I'm on Sense 4.1.2). It probably depends on where the bootanimation is located on your rom. I also discovered that the first time I got it, it was a bad download (different file size). Re-downloaded and it works fine.

Has anyone gotten this to work w/ TrickDroid yet? If so, any pointers would be fantastic.
