is 1254-8596 a cda number that corresponds to 1253-9721 si number ??
an indian friend having an arc s i guess could help me better so please let me know or anyone else too please .
i am using arc s and under my phone's battery i see si number as 1253-9721 but as i press *#*#7378423#*#* on my phone and look in info it says customization version 1254-8596(I am on 4.0.2.A.0.62 for some reason). So what i am asking is it correct ?!
1253-9721 is indian generic so though its showing 1254-8596 in my phones in settings by pressing *#*#7378423#*#*, still is it then indian generic that i would have got out of box and all's fine?!
Would highly apprecitate if anyone reply soon and clear my doubt please!

If u wave a branded phone your Bootloader can't be unlocked yet You can find info about firmware etc on your phone at Settings -> About Phone.
As title states, is there ? I know I have PLAY& X10, but as for the X10 there still no Global FW for 2.3, as also for PLAY, so just thought...how is the situation on NEO/ARC, to at least hope for something.
*Friends please do me a favor, if they do have it, i could continue to check if it possible to port it to X10 FW.

1. Can anyone let me know what is a CDF number & customization number & SI number.
2. How to find those in my device. (I know how to find customization & SI number. But how to find CDF?)
3. Is CDF = customization number = SI number
4. What will happen if i change my customization number as my SI number.
5. To get the official firmware updates from Sony PC Companion, do i need to change my customization number as my SI number.
6. Are these numbers are unique by the devices or are these common with all devices?

Hello everyone, I think that there are more than one customization in a particular region of some regions. You can check it by *#*#7378423#*#* and then go to SERVICE INFO, then SOFTWARE INFO. So please take a screenshot and add here.
Please mention your model number and your country.
