But then you have to charge the phone more
I have a problem with my rooted G2's light sensor as well. I check sensor values using either an app or Cyanogen's light level editor and it's permanently stuck at 219. I guess that's what I get for upgrading my radio. :/
I'm not sure it's the radio, but my light sensor needs calibrating or something. Even in a pitched black room, it jumps up to 320lx, making it shut off the keyboard when I need it. Ugh, ugh, ugh. It still works though -- just not on the low end of the spectrum.

In the virtuose sense 2.0 thread, they have made some flashable zip that adjust the proximity sensor and light sensor... I don't know if they will work on that rom...but if you want to try..

I have dimiui running on my arc s all is well apart from hardware leds any idea how I can her them to work?
Sent from my LT18i using xda premium
I had a similar situation on another Miui rom. I discovered that if you deactivate the auto screen brightness the lights between the buttons come back to life again but other than doing that I've been unable to get them to work in any other function. I think its just the way that Miui roms are ported.
Hahaha how weird that works thanks

when you are in well lighted room, led is brighter, when you are in dark room- led is less bright. Same technique as for auto brightness
But that led is constantly on Strange
Is that not the proximity sensor? I'm guessing it uses some forms of IR for detection so will always be on. .. is normal, don't worry
I just wanna confirm that do everybody has git that or is that only me with that ?
Proximity sensor. Disable 'quick glance' and it won't stay on all the time.

Well yes, post #2 just mentioned that.
Having some serious problem here. My led isn't lighting up while charging etc. Although LED test shows that the LED are working fine.
What should i check or do?

Try that. That should work. Else re-flash or if you're not confident of that, go to cc

Led indicator is on, that's for sure. I didn't touch it.
Only shut down has light, the rest charging etc has no light.
Tried reflash also.
U can use light manager instead.

Sorry to revive a long-forgotten thread, but I received my n7105 from UM yesterday and the phone works perfectly apart from the LED indicator not lighting up.
Just curious if you found a way to fix this issue or was there some hidden setting which was hindering the LED light working correctly?
I also installed light manager but unfortunately it doesn't seem to help the situation.
I'm guessing maybe the LED light is a dud but hoping there's some way to rectify this without having to return it.
Thanks mate.
I have a red light constantly on even when phone is asleep. I believe it could a proximity light. Is it a malfunction as it was there before. I don't have amart stay on or anything like that and even rebooted the phone

If it is to the right of earpiece then its proximity sensor. If it is to the left of it, its led indicator. Red generally means low battery
