[Q] Lumia 900 OEM flashing unlocked bootloader - Nokia Lumia 900

Hello, i got the L900 as a present and it already has unlocked bootloader. I am not able to finish this process with Nokia Care Suite because it enters massive memory when in osbl mode and asks for formating it.
Is there any way to revover Nokia bootloader instead of Qualcomm or another way for flashing OEM ROM? I actually had success with a 710 with locked bootloader, so I am sure I am not avoiding any step according to the tutorial in Development Section.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have nokia boot loader or qualcomm boot loader?

Qualcomm... is there a possibility for restoring DLOAD or alternate flashing method?

You lucky bastard, you would rather relock the phone and don't even use the true potential of the phone, I've been trying to hack mine for a while

I had a Qualcomm bootloader on my old 900, The best I achieved was to install a custom ROM (funky rom v2) which had stock functionality plus some other goodies such as root access :fingers-crossed:

Sweet now I'm rock the 1520 2 years later lol

[Q] Question about bootloader.

Hi. I have a Rogers Branded Sim-Locked Xperia Arc with Gingerbread 2.3.3, and my goal for this phone is to get Cyanogen Mod 7 Beta 11 on it.
I read that in order to flash the custom rom I need an unlocked bootloader. I also read in order to unlock my phones bootloader I need to be able to enter fastboot mode. Unfortunalty I cannot enter fastboot mode since I got my xperia arc directly from my Carrier Rogers. My question is if I purchase an unlock code from one of the various websites out there, and then unlock my phone would I be able to enter fastboot and eventually unlock my bootloader and then flash cyanogen mode 7? Thanks in advance
No.
As things stand, there's nothing you can do to get your handset into FastBoot mode - only factory-unlocked handsets are capable of doing so.
Thanks but im still kind of confused. What about this? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1037874
And so with any custom rom coming out i will need an unlocked bootloader?
That's a thread discussing the possibility of trying to enable Fastboot on handsets that don't currently support it.
But to the best of my knowledge, no significant progress has been made.
So, has any progress been made? Am I able to unlock my bootloader now and get cyanagen mod? Or do I still need a factory unlocked handset cause of the fastboot thing
Have a read of the general and development sections. ;-)

i read it but im still a little bit confused, to my knowledge the only way of unlocking my phone to put cynagen mod is to pay someone to remotely unlock my phone?
Unless you have access to SETool, yes.

Doogee x6 pro. Mtk 6375 unlock bootloader help needed

Greetings
I received a cheap android MTK 6735 (shipped with MM android 6)
I have searched high and low and found nothing regarding unlocking the bootloader.
I assume the bootloader is locked. If I try to oem unlock I get to the yes/no option but phone freezes and I am unable to choose yes option.
All adb drivers etc installed correctly. I cannot root or flash custom recovery using sp tools
Any pointers?
May device specific bootloader unlock code be needed?
Any help appreciated

[Request] Alcatel A621BL Possible to root or unlock bootloader?

I have just purchased this phone from straight talk cannot find anything on it alcatel onetouch pixi glory. Any kind of assistance would be nice thank you.
looking in to device now. I have it as well and most searches regardless of using "Alcatel One Touch Pixi Glory A621BL" or any other search variant on name and model usually point to other pixi or Alcatel variants. King Root does not work. Nor does a number of other methods I have tried. Wait and see game at this point
Great. Thats what i have spent the last hour trying to do. UGH
boot loader not only locked but inaccessible via fastboot. all fastboot attempts to enter fastboot mode just reboots the device. some research in to qualcomm msm8909 means this turd has locked the boot loader down simply by crippling it to standard command set that fastboot uses. button combos to enter fastboot just reboot the device. It is highly unlikely this device will ever even see root must less an unlocked boot loader. avoid future alcatel devices as even older devices that had a working boot loader are now getting updates which kick it down. tcl/alcatel is a **** company for going this route.
Same thing with Pixi 4(5) I've tried every methods out there. bootloader doesn't work
Is there any update on rooting these yet? I have tried kingo, srs, oneclick, framaroot, and none of them yet. Hoping this happens soon, thanks.
bootloafer unlocked. still need rooting app that works
If you guys haven't figured it out by now you can access the bootloader by unlocking developer options in your settings. I've had this phone for a year now and I'm still trying to find a way to root it. Is there a rooting app out there that works on this type of phone it's an Alcatel One Touch Pixi Glory A621BL from TracFone
I too have experienced the exact same things none of the rooting software seems to work. I'm now looking for a replacement phone that has 7 and can run apps from sd card

Lgk10 root helpppp

I'm running an lg k10 from AT&T so far i have every tool from every thread about rooting this device. fast-boot does not recognize the the device but ADB does. when i use the command "adb reboot bootloader" the phone proceeds to do a normal boot. ive installed the latest drivers ive updated adb and sdk tools i have everything but the phone will not boot into fastboot mode so i can flash twrp
I'm in the same boat. Even worse, it seems nobody on this planet has an AT&T LG K425. Or if they do, none want it rooted.... So figuring out the process has been slow going for the AT&T variant.
Anybody else having this issue??
If not, do tell your solutions.
I bought this phone for my wife, since it had been rooted and there was at least a rom for it, little did I realise that the ATT flavor of this phone wasnt released untill 6 months after the rest of them, So we don't have the older flashes to root it. would really love for someone to chime in with some help here. What happened to dirty cow taking care of all this for us?
thanks

You can easily unlock your bootloader. Follow my bootloader unlock guide. There is a mistake in your adb reboot booloader command.

I think the problem is that the phone shipped with 6.0.1 and I'm unable to find any firmware for it other then that firmware.. I would be thrilled to be wrong though.

Is the bootloader unlockable?

I'm really considering getting this device, my brother just got it and it seems great but, before I commit to it I want to make sure the bootloader is unlockable. Can anyone confirm that you can unlock the bootloader with the OEM unlock command?
BL is not unlockable at this time.
That's too bad hopefully that changes in the future. Either officially or unofficially.
there was a topic on nokia 6 forum for unlocking bootloader for 2nd gen but there are no codes available anymore we missed the boat
Oh come on. Can you send me the link, maybe there is something in the wayback machine?

Usually oem provided unlock codes are generated on a per device basis so doing this would be pointless. Basically you send a command to the device it gives you a number and you give than to the OEM and they give you another code to use with OEM unlock and mark your warranty void. Which is honestly probably illegal now (in the us at least) based on what the FCC had been doing lately. I mean them voiding your warranty like that is illegal. That's probably one of the reasons they would stop giving it codes.

Hopefully someone can find a free way to generate the codes but if not we'll see if this method works on this device and if it leads to it getting twrp and Lineage OS or other roms.

The official answer of Nokia about bootloader
These is the official answer Nokia customer when I ask about bootloader
yes its unlockable you just have to pay $5 for the service. my question is why is there no twrp or root yet? I cant post the link to the unlock but you can do a google search.
Nokia havent relesed yet bootloader codes. If you buy one (its a tool that is like server and they have a guy in the nokia or maybe have hack nokia server and the send you your unlock.bin file) these is the commands that you need but first you must unlock the dev option and put on oem unlocking
install fastboot drivers for phone.
power off phone.
run
fastboot -i 0x2e04 flash unlock <signature file>
connect phone to cable
run
fastboot -i 0x2e04 oem unlock-go
follow instructions on phone display if any
if you are in android 7.1 and not updated ,there's a way ,through 9008 mode to unlock it.
if you already updated through ota, there's only paid way to unlock it till now.
PM me for unlock bootloader
