For those looking for a spare battery in the states or one of those battery charging kits, the T-Mobile Galaxy S Blaze uses the same 1750 mah battery as our beloved Nexus! Just thought I'd share.

Nfc?

You know if the T989 battery is also compatible? 1850 mAh with NFC.
From what I can tell, it looks like it. I have a T989 battery, but don't get my phone till Monday. Will update.

Yes it is. I'm using the nexus battery on my t989

Well the nexus battery is smaller but the T989 is bigger and doesn't fit inside the GNex if I recall correctly. I'll have to double check when I get home.

Yeah that's why I would think it's compatible.
On the T989 forums they are all buying the extended nexus battery for the little extra mAh.
Hopefully it's compatible or i'd have a useless battery. lol
Sold my white t989 for a white nexus!

The T989 battery will fit the VERIZON galaxy nexus and vice versa. But it will not fit the GSM galaxy nexus.
@icashyy_ you should have stated it fits the VERIZON galaxy nexus which is what you have but since this thread is talking about the GSM GN you instead have confused some people and hopefully they have not made a purchase over your mistake. Please pay attention to thread titles.

Ahhhh disappointment lol
I already had the extra battery from the T989, lost it, but found it after I sold it.
Oh well. Thanks!
The Blaze does have NFC its identical to the Galaxy Nexus battery except it has a water indicator at the top.

Ah that makes sense, I didn't notice he had the LTE version. I was already doubting my testing with my wife's phone.

Does anyone know if the 2100Mah Galaxy Nexus battery will fit in the Blaze 4G?
I know that it fits the T989, but wanted to know for my T769, Blaze!

Since the 2100mah is a Verizon galaxy nexus battery then I don't think it will fit. The blaze is compatable with the GSM galaxy nexus and vice versa. The Verizon galaxy nexus uses a completely different battery.
This thread is a mess. Why are folks so sloppy? We are in the GSM GN forum. We should be talking about the GSM Galaxy Nexus phone and not confusing each other by only saying 'white' nexus or galaxy nexus.
Is this xda or what? Very sloppy. I came here wanting to find a quick replacement battery for my GSM Nexus but cannot trust the advice in this thread. And the main question is where is the moderation? That is why xda has really gone down and forums like RootzWiki have grown so much. The threads here are increasingly filled with confused misinformation on the one hand and flaming insults on the other (this thread isn't flaming only confused).
Hopefully things will improve.
Do the Blaze and the GSM Nexus use the same battery? YES or NO? Can someone definitively answer that question and no other questions in the effort of cleaning up this thread a bit??
When you are talking about battery size, be very clear about what version of the Galaxy Nexus you talk about. The GSM and CDMA versions have completely different batteries.

This forum is not exclusive to the GSM Galaxy Nexus. Both the GSM and CDMA variants are the intended subject matter of this forum.

Well seeing how the title says GSM and in the OP he states its the same 1750mah battery.... then I think he's talking about the GSM Galaxy Nexus.
He didn't say anything about Verizon. He just said the US T-Mobile Galaxy Blaze has the same 1750mah battery as the GSM Nexus. Makes sense.
Blaze = GSM Nexus

Nope.
Can someone please tell me the model number for the GT-N7000. I have searched and found three different Samsung Note OEM batteries. One for N7000, i717 and 9220. I bought my phone used and it came with an aftermarket battery. I want the original battery that came with the phone. Thanks.

Some descriptions say that part is only for the i717.
"Samsung Galaxy Note i717 EB615268VU Replacement Battery
Your battery dying too fast? Enjoy using your Samsung Galaxy Note for a longer time with a new Samsung standard battery. With a new Samsung Galaxy Note battery, you can enjoy taking pictures, listen to music or surfing the web for a longer period of time. This also makes a great 2nd back up battery.
This Samsung 2500 mAh Standard Lithium Battery is compatible with Samsung Galaxy Note i717 only.
Model Number: EB615268VU"
I have Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000.
Go look on amazon

I currently have the Galaxy S III on Sprint that I got the day it was released. However, I am switching to AT&T next week, and I don't know if I want to get the AT&T Galaxy S III or the Galaxy Note II. I love my Galaxy S III, with my one wish being that it had a quad-core processor. With the Note II, I love everything, except it seems like it might be too big. However, I have big hands, and I don't use my Galaxy S III one handed anyways. I also do a lot of texting/emailing.
What do you think? Is the Galaxy Note II worth the extra $100 or so? Does it run really fast, smooth, and speedy compared to the Galaxy S III? Also, can you use third-party keyboards using the one-handed setting like you can with the stock keyboard?
Also, is it likely that both AT&T and Samsung will keep updating the Galaxy Note II over the course of the next 18 months?
It depends. For me, the determining factor actually wasn't speed or screen size but rather usability. IMHO the GS3 felt just as fast with a little OC'ing plus it fit in my pocket.
I own the S3 and had the Note 2 for 2 weeks. Really the Note is a great phone. If the size doesn't bother you I would get the Note 2. I ended up returning the Note 2 though. I didn't return it because it was a bad phone. I returned it because I just couldn't justify wasting an upgrade to go from the S3 to the Note 2. The difference between the 2 isn't as great as one might think. Plus my S3 with an Hyperion extended battery this thing lasts forever.

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum and just bought myself a T-Mobile s2 to replace a Verizon galaxy nexus. I'll be switching to a prepaid plan. Any who, I don't know if anyone else knew this yet, but I have a Samsung extended battery for my gnex and tried it in the s2 to see if it would work. Sure enough it fits like a glove and the stock door works perfectly with it! Just a heads up for anyone who has thought of it trying it
