Problems flashing RunnyDrOiD v5.0 By PVTEAM

I've been trying to figure out for the last hour or so why this rom hasn't been flashing correctly.
1. I've already loaded DZ HBoot onto the phone with S-OFF and had loaded the SenseGinger 3.0 Rom. Loved the layout but it was kinda slow for me. So that's when i was looking up other roms and found RunnyDrOiD v5.0 By PVTEAM.
2. next thing I did was download the Rom Manager, Flashed ClockworkMod Recovery sucessfully and selected install rom from sd card, (in which I had loaded the RunnyDroid rom on my sd card already.
3. Im in Recovery, wiped data, and the installation started. The problem I'm facing is that the installation says it was sucessful and says Rebooting, but the progress bar in the background is still going (looks like it was at 25%). Phone Reboots. Now it'll first start up with the HTC Logo, shuts off, then reboots again with the HTC Logo then goes back to clockworkmod recovery. I attempted to do it again, but still have the same results.
Anyone have any idea that I'm facing this problem? I really hope I can get this on my phone as the RunnyDroid rom looks really clean looking, and with other users reporting it to be fast, It's driving me nuts that I can test this rom out! *sad panda*
Anyone's help or support is greatly appreciated.
actually lock this thread. found out what the problem was. I flashed the wrong hboot. Be sure to use the DZ HBOOT FOR ANYONE HAVING THIS PROBLEM. Thank you all anyway.

[Q] Kernel problems on Arc LT15

Hi, I recently tried to install a nightly build from CyanogenMod, after a bit of messing around (because im not totally great at doing stuff like this) i managed to install the right kernel but quickly realised some glitches so decided to revert back to the stable 9.1 anzu build. but now all of a sudden today my kernel changed all by itself back to the nightly 10.x build kernel after i turned my phone off and back on which causes the screen to shake constantly on the 9.1 build. Ive tried using the flashtool and entered into fastboot mode via ADB but my phone just remains in the same state and wont go into fastboot mode.
My phone still works fine for receiving calls etc but obviously its very hard to see the screen with it shaking violently, as im pretty much a noob can anyone tell me how i can flash the right kernel back onto my phone and maybe delete the unstable kernel so it wont happen again?
I have tried my hardest to explain my problem so sorry if i'm making very little sense but any help/ideas would be very much appreciated
Thanks
Sem
Well my suggestion is to flash stock firmware and then try to flash cm9 again.

need advice on a 100% stable ROM

Hi there,
I currently have the Jellybean - Jellytime 4.2.2 r11 rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1778202) on my DHD, after using it for a few weeks the phone crashed and when I turned it back on it got stuck on the Jellytime boot screen. Also, when plugging the phone into a computer/laptop via usb, I cannot mount the sd card for file transferring... (i did full wipe before flashing)
I am looking to install a fully stable ROM that is actually going to stop me from converting back to stock, I have tried a few in the past and still to this day not found a ROM that has no problems.
If you could recommend me a completely stable ROM I would really appreciate it, as I don't really have the time to install and test ROMs.. I do not mind what android version it runs, but I would prefer it to be ICS or Jellybean.
Again, thanks for the help!
I recommend blackouts Rom. 100% stable and everything works 100%.

[Q] Unlocked Galaxy Ace 2 + new ROM = lost unlock?

Hi everyone. I received my very first Android phone a couple of days ago, a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2. I did some research on the Android OS (my phone came with Gingerbread) and I found out about Cyanogenmod. So today, I installed C11 (found it right here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2568105) after a lot of sweat and blood... And I got it to run nicely, but I noticed I can't get my network to work. The phone was previously unlocked (I bought it used), and when I first tried my SIM on it, it worked.
When I first had to install CWM in order to be able to install the ROM, I succeeded in rooting it, and I noticed that the phone was still rooted after flashing it (though I don't know if that came along with C11). But anyway, I can't get my network to work; I removed the battery and the SIM a couple of times, but it didn't work. Now I don't know what to do. Could anyone please give me a hand on this? I know nothing about Android. Thanks in advance.
CM11 requires JB (4.1.2) - Sound like you flashed CM11 onto GB (2.3.6)
This can't work.
The thing is that I was trying to install an AOSP ROM (found in these forums as well) before trying with C11, and I wiped the data, formatted the system... So the phone was left without an OS. I didn't just "update" the OS, if you know what I mean. And C11 is working fine except for the mobile network.
EDIT: If I install a clean JB 4.1.2. and then restore to my current CM11, do you think that could solve the network issue?
Again: You need JB! With JB there are also other partitions which are needed to be new (on JB)
And Yes - Data restoring could work - But not recommended.... I would do an clean new install...
Please do not start an discussion... again: You needed JB.. (just to be sure)
Uhm, I never intended to start a discussion, I was trying to explain what I did. Thank you for replying anyway. I'll let you know if I get the network to work.
Sorry - I don't what to sound outrageous... But those questions were asked to many times... Here on XDA ACE 2 section...

[Help] Upgrading AT&T i747m from CWM/4.4.4 KitKat to TWRP/CM12.1

Hello guys,
It's been a while since the last time I visited the SGS3 section, over a year ago I remember updating the bootloader in order to upgrade/flash to 4.4.4 which went very smooth and was a success. I gave the phone to a sibling who has been very happy with it for the last year and a half. Lately, the phone has been very unstable with the 4.4.4 KitKat ROM, WiFi doesn't turn on, Bluetooth is unstable, Unstable apps/Force closes. I tried a wipe/factory restore and re-flashed the ROM but the problems persisted.
I did a little research and liked what CyanogenMod is doing and since they are actively supporting the phone I decided to flash CM12.1 and the provided Open Google-Apps, CM12.1 flashed successfully but Open Google-apps refused to install, CWM displayed (Section 6) error which upon research it is common with CWM and the solution is to flash TWRP. I booted with CM12.1 in order to install TWRP Manager through the APK and flash TWRP but it force-closed when it searched for the device model. WiFi was working but Bluetooth was still unstable.
I would like to know what would be the best way to proceed in this case, I would like to upgrade the recovery to TWRP and flash CM12.1 or any other stable Lollipop ROM.
Thanks,
Oscar
