is supercharge working perfectly for ICS 4.0.4?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16635544#post16635544
Please use Google before asking next time.
Thank you for the link. However, I get lost there...
Is any one did it for Xperia and willing to rewrite the steps
====================
EDIT: I found alot of threads about supercharging ICS... I'm going to read them
as you can see, not everyone voted that supercharge for ICS is working 100%.
that's why im asking if anyone is having issues with it
Most of the custom roms have prioritized services.jar file, so if you know yours has been pre-prioritized, just reboot and stop at step 3(you're now supercharged). If you don't know or if you know it hasn't then follow these steps...
1. Download supercharger.sh(link above)
2. Download Terminal Emulator(included in most roms) or Script Manager
3.(pick either)
In terminal emulator, type:
su
sh /sdcard/supercharger.txt (or where ever uyou have put the script, also the name of the file may vary)
follow the steps
in Script Manager:
just find the file from your SD and click it.
4. Download ES File Manager(or whatever file manager that has root function)
5. Find your services.jar(/system/framework/), copy it to your SD card, open up Opera Mini(or any other 3rd party browser. Using stock isn't recommended) and go here
6. Upload services.jar there, and download the output(flashable zip)
7. Flash it and you're supercharged
and what about supercharge ICS 4.0.4 can we supercharge it?

In step 5. I get this error from the website:
* Could not find classes.dex inside services.jar! Your ROM is most likely odexed (stock?).. Unfortunately the methods of patching an odexed services.jar are complex and require multiple files from your /system/framework/ directory. See zeppelinrox's post here for a guide to modifying your odexed services.jar file.

Yeah, sorry, your rom is odexed. What rom are you running? I suggest trying out different rom(Arconium ICS or JJ) since supercharger makes a big difference.
Ah, you're on stock rom, aren't you? Flash a custom rom to make it work.
Can i ask a silly question, what supercharger stands for? ._.

I'm pleased to present my repack of the stock ROM for the HTC Vision! READ THIS WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU START! No, really, it contains everything you need to know.
Remember that if you use this ROM, you do so entirely at your own risk!!
About MoDaCo stock ROM repacks
Unlike a MCR (MoDaCo Custom ROM) release, a stock ROM repack is as close to the stock ROM as possible. Only root / Superuser and an insecure boot image is added. The benefits of the repack are providing a rollback option in update zip format as well as providing an online kitchen to remove parts that are not required.
A MCR release of this ROM is also available!
Requirements
In order to use this ROM on your device, you must have a custom recovery image installed (Clockwork Mod).
THIS ROM SHOULD RUN ON BOTH THE G2 AND THE DESIRE Z!
Features
Repack of the 1.22.531.8 (OTA) ROM
Pre-rooted with su and Superuser Permissions by ChainsDD
Insecure boot image (ro.secure=0)
Changelog
Please see the post below this one for the changes in each release.
Installation
To install this ROM:
Download the zip file of your choice from the links below (or the online kitchen) and copy to your SD card
Restart your device in recovery mode
PERFORM A NANDROID BACKUP FROM THE MENU
Select the option to apply an update zip, and select the zip file you copied to your memory card
Upgrading
No wipe is explicitly required in order to use this ROM (unless you are coming from a 'Sense' ROM), however if you do encounter issues of any kind, it is recommended that you wipe your device and reproduce the issue before raising it here.
Downloads
This ROM is now available in the online kitchen - see the post below for details! In addition to the kitchen, a prebaked download is available.

It's impossible to mention everyone who contributes to the Android community by name, but to everyone out there who does great work and shares it with us all - you have my gratitude and respect.

Thanks, Paul. Looking forward to your SenseUI build for American Visions
Works perfectly. Very snappy. Using it with the ROM kitchen is a nice way to customize exactly the ROM you want. I used that to keep my old email.apk that doesn't ask for a alphanumeric password every time I want to use the phone.

Pual, I for the life of me can't seem to get this overclocked. I should be able to overclock this using the steps in the link below correct? Oh, and by the way I love the rom. I used baconbit, which was great until i found out I couldn't use my extended battery on it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=813681
I've done a total wipe and installed your rom and my app with titanium. Here's the link.
I've put the ota ko file in the root of the my sd. And ran the attached .sh files in gscript, but all i get is errors.
Edit: nevermind I see that the OP to the overclocking post no longer supports it. I guess ill have to go with the new kernal and hope it works with extended batteries. Thanks for reading.

Not sure as this belongs here or not, but I think this is the best place for it. This will allow you to add init.d to your phone without CWM. I got it working for me, so I hope everyone else will have the same fortune.
Requirements:
1.Root
2.Fully installed Busybox
3. Windows computer
Instructiions:
Download and run runme.bat

Added the CWM version to the OP - Quick instructions:
Put on your SD card or somewhere you can find on your phone and flash with CWM - done!
Files from his forum - Xperia S - has been edited to remove errors
Please note this will fail if any of the Busybox symlinks are not complete!

I am not sure it works.
1. the 06dalvik script did not create /cache/dalvik-cache folder.
2. the 99test did not create any file in /data/local/tmp.
does our kernel support init.d?

Mine is working, if you got some errors during the load process, I need to know.
If thing to do is check your symlinks and make sure that they are all there for busybox.
Use this to check your symlinks:https://play.google.com/store/apps/...t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsInN0ZXJpY3Nvbi5idXN5Ym94Il0.
If any one is missing, it could stop the install process.
On the thing about our kernel supporting init.d, the answer is not currently and that is why we have to use this program. It will allow compatibility with our kernel to have init.d.
The busbox is ok.
I can run it rom my terminal on the phone as well as adb shell.
There were no errors during installation.
Edit:
I ran the script again today.
The init.d works. the 99test did create a file in /data/local/tmp.

Running it at 50% is pretty good also. The script will at least zipalign, check for proper permissions on all apps, clean the delvik-cache, and reorganize the task manager priorities and also your ram manager settings. You should try the battery calibration script that is there also, it is really nice.

Script manager is easiest. Don't forget to use as root for all those scripts.
I did forget that it will also allow for a powershift, so you can change your settings on the fly if you need more multitasking capabilities than power savings or more power.

It looks like it is going to be a little tricky, but at 50% I can tell the Xperia Launcher is working better and almost never see any lag. With Nova Launcher, it just flies.

It reads like there are extra manual steps to get ICS fully super charged.
Sent from Rooted LT28at with ICS.
It does not look like the latest CWM that I put will be compatible with the extra mods, after I put the cwm together and flashed it bricked my phone. I have put my phone back to where it was before the modifications for the ICS supercharger (the service.jar and service.odex modded part) and works just fine without the additional mods, but I don't think I am going to try to mod the phone again (wife will get mad at me if I hard brick my phone).
Hi, I have put together a set of files and scripts to help you build your own miui rom for Acro S. You need to use Miui Rom for Xperia S (LT26i) as a base. I have tested using the version from MiuiAndroid. It should work for other versions with different language.
It is based on erenz1202's excellent script here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1294451
Basically it'll take you 30s to prepare the files and about 5 min to build a rom
It is for Windows and you need to have java sdk installed

[Credits]
1. erenz1202 - for the original script
2. All the Miui Rom developers
3. Soheil - for the original SDMounter
[Instructions]
1. unzip the file Acros_Miui_Builder.zip to any folder, let's use d:\template as example
2. edit d:\template\temp\build.prop to contain the correct version number
3. copy original rom's system folders to d:\template\source - it should have sub-folders like app, bin, etc ...
4. open command prompt, cd to d:\template (the root folder of this script)
5. type: build
6. relax and wait 5 min. Then copy d:\template\my_rom.zip to sdcard
7. boot into cwm and backup your current rom
8. do a factory reset and install my_rom.zip
9. enjoy
This is wonderful, hope there have another script or tools can convert Xperia S's ROM to ACRO S.

At first I intend it to be general but when I tried it on Eratcher's rom - it caused bootloop unless I put back original rom's framework-res.apk. No time to figure out the reason yet
Other than that everything, eg screen rotation ..., works
Extenal SD card can be used now?
@cobrato
thanks this is just great. I'm not a developer more an advanced user but this is simple, strait forward and it works!
Thanks

I saw a MOD earlier for the CM10 and i thought why not make one ONLY for the MIUI JB.
follow these steps:
1- make a nandroid backup (optional as i tried it and it boots)
2- download attachment, extract it and place build.prob on sdcard
3- open your *root* file explorer and place it into /system , then set permissions to rw-r-r
4- reboot to recovery and wipe cache, dalvik cache and fix permissions (i dont know why but i saw it is needed so just do what i said)
5- reboot and enjoy

NOTE: I didn't disable Boot animation because i personally like it and i know some people would be sad if i did.
i don't own any of these tweaks i just copied them and decided to share it with you!
TIPS:
1- Go to Rom toolbox(free from Playstore) open memory manager and choose Ultimate from the presets. It will improve multi tasking and a little bit gaming.
2- Try Forfivo's JB Kernel V1.1 i use it and it runs great.
3- I don't know what you guys prefer about governors but i personally love Smartass v2.
4- Use the SD Boost (also in Rom toolbox) boost your sd to 3072 or 2036. (i can't see difference but they say it does change something)
5- I don't actually feel difference after using my build.prob Tweak LOL, but point "1" really shows difference and smoothness.
6- I guess these are enough actually it was enough from "1"

There are to ZIP files in the attachments, don't flash any of them just follow the steps above. And use the version of your ROM the file with the name V16 is the original version and the one named V30 is the test of coliv_aja so make sure you know which one you are using.
And please put in mind that if you already have build.prob tweaks backup them before you replace them with this, because this is the build.prob fresh from the ROM tweaked, so you will lose your tweaks(if you had any).

You should try taking your data.yaffs2 image file from a cwm backup, extract it using unyaffs (just google it) and take the /app folder under the extracted directory.
Then, make a flashable zip that mounts /data and then extract it, and it should be working fine
Edit:
about touchpads, I think that the changes would pretty much be located into the framework.jar, so try taking it from an ics rom that has touchpads working
