We have ROM, KERNELS, Baseband dumps collection post on XDA !
but can not find any post about RIL ? how can get the dumps collection for Galaxy Nexus RIL ?
and Galaxy Nexus have many different ro.product.name (e.g. yakju, yakjuxw...etc)
all of them, it is got same hardware, only different it can be GSM, CDMA or LTE.
The RIL is provided already by AOSP, I'm not sure what exactly you're looking for here.

I don't think you understand what the RIL is.
Hi,
I was wondering this too. Not actually sure what the ril does but keep seeing people say that the ril must match the baseband. I have found the best baseband for me (by far) is KL1... its the only one that doesn't heat my phone up enough to fry an egg. Using a 4.0.4 rom which came with la2 ril, what ril should I be using?
Cheers

Have a read of the last few pages of the radio thread stickied in the general section. Start at post 746.

As far as I know the GSM version is still on 4.0.2, at least mine is. 4.0.3 and 4.0.4 are both for the CDMA version.

u should be wrong , ive seen many roms in developments page but none of them were stock rom
Officially, 4.0.2 is the latest version. Unofficially, there are ROMs with 4.0.3 and 4.0.4.
A 4.0.3 stock from can be built from source code. See the guide. But its not an official Google build as it has not been release officially.

Without open a new topic, can I flash with "ClockWorkMod" or stock recovery the factory images?
If not, do I have to use "Root toolkit"?
Thanks.
Bye!

bad advice!
Search for it, what you seek is asked multiple times. Both in general section and q/a

Stop bumping an older-than-dirt thread.
Good advice
So I flashed a new baseband to my gnex. When i had my g2x i used an app called getril that allowed u to flash the appropriate ril w baseband. My gnex has the old ril and new baseband but its not in the getril database. Wondering what potential problems it may cause
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
RIL are librairies included in rom. Just flash another rom and you will have you RIL back.
I understand that.....but should the baseband have to match?

Its my understanding that the radio is backwards compatible. I have left the 4.0.4 radio on and flashed multiple 4.0.3 roms without any issues, so you should be fine. Farther back that .3 i'm not sure about as i haven't tried that.
So I have had my Gnex (Cdma) for a few weeks and I have tried a couple of ROMS and I keep coming back to the deodexed zip aligned stock 4.04. My question is: What is the latest radio version and where can it be found?

yes it is, but i was referring to the radio that comes with it and the 4.0.4 in the dev thread was the koodo base no? shouldn't this be the tmobile one? they're not all the same. but ehh.... tmobile base usually sucks anyways.
Yes you are right the baseband is new as well and it is UVLH1 the kernel version is 3.0.8 I guess I will give this a try for a week completly stock then back to good old AOKP. I just like trying the stock stuff. I gotta say I was very impresed with the first version of ICS that we got. I didnt even root it or anything till AOKP was official for the t989. I got super good battery life and everything was stable so lets see if this update holds up. Good job samsung.
Blech. Kies fail.

Is Isis finally here? Can we finally start paying for things with our phones' NFC?
Hi all,
I found this firmware at sammobile.
Please find it by the link below.
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&model=SGH-T989&pcode=TMB&os=1&type=1#firmware
I am not sure if I posted at the right place.
Just tell me if I posted wrong and I will remove it.
Enjoy...
I already got the uvlh1 system folder with the apps, libs, build prop, and etc and also the .tar. I took the radio and made a flashable zip of it its in the dev section. I tryed to upload it on dropbox but it said the file is too large. Which is the best file sharing site so i can upload the large files so i can post it here ? But i guess the devs already has it.

I couldn't find a change log on the site anywhere. Anyone else?

I'm trying to help me gf root and flash a 4.3 rom but I'm not sure which to flash. She is with Bell Canada and the radios are I9250UGKK7, I9250UGKL1 from what I've searched in other topics. So I'm assuming that I follow the international version since it has the same 'I9250' name in the radio. Can someone help me?
I believe you can run an international device's ROM. Just don't use an international baseband, use the ones meant for the carrier for max compatibility.

K. Flashing new roms won't change the baseband correct?

Custom ROMs? No.
Google search SGH-I337M yields what results?
Never do anything to your device until you've confirmed every step twice before actually doing them.

Thanks, I assumed wrong. I tried to help, but I was also planning on to search for the Canada versions once I got home. Just having dinner and coffee first.
Op, can you share a little bit more about the current state of the device? ROM, buildprop (if you have messed with it, please share the one it had before you started), stuff like that. The baseband should help though, I guess I'll start there.
a manta sent this.
Edit: So, Bell's version is the device variant GT-I9250M?
Here is a screenshot.
