Hey Guys,
So I'm going to buy a NIB, S2 and will eventually root it as I did with my EVO 4g.
My question is: Could I continue to swap my S2 and EVO on sprint's network whenever I want to if they're both rooted??
Yea you can. Your device being rooted has absolutely nothing to do with any of that.

Yes. You will, but keep in mind when you call to get them switched out, they will have to be on a base rom (TW, or sense respectively) when you call.

Awesome. Thanks for the quick response. Didn't know about being on the base rom. Good to know.

The way SAMSUNG has brutally raped ICS ( putting it mildly ), isn't it a crime? Don't you guys think Google should report it? I am genuinely not looking forward to ICS from SAMSUNG on this Fantastic phone after this. I am happy with the Calk's roms on my device.

So I changed it to ICS TW..I think its still the same
If anything.. Sense on ics is what your topic should be about. Touchwiz on the other hand looks great and much less intrusive.

i like TW 4.0 on ICS from what ive read and seen... can someone show me how to UN-thank OP?
please uninstall xda-developers.com from your internet browser, then uninstall internet.exe from you computer.
Thank you, everyone, for all your comments. literally. i have thanked each one of you that have taken a stand against IS; Internet Stupidity.
Wont there be a launcher2 in system/app that will be the ICS launcher? I mean we have a launcher 2 Gingerbread launcher now. If so, it will take 2 minutes to have the same look as the GNEX or Nexus S ICS

It seems like all you have to do is set the location where you would want your first finger to be (which moves the lock pick tool) then press a button to turn it.
If fingers in wrong place, it breaks.
I am addicted to this.

Yes, Like I said I grabbed the Image from Reddit. Someone was requesting the same thing on there, and I thought I would just bring the idea over here where it belongs.

No need. It doesn't exist. Someone just made it their wallpaper, and requested that someone make something like this. It's an amazing concept, and I hope someone can create something like it.
Hell, I'll even help with the Photoshop work if it needs it.
i dont get it?

This is not for our devices its for global, carrier unlocked versions. The First gen galaxy S2 with the hardware home button. And wont help us much if any at all.

hopefully ours get updated before the GSIII announcement, or else Tmobile might delay the update so more people will buy GSIII (although I doubt they need much convincing). they're already doing this with the HTC phones

Really? they said it was for htc evo 4g lte.Is it different from my htc evo 4 g sprint? Is that so' could you recommend jb rom with
camera capable for my device?
The evo 4g lte is a different phone. As far as a good jellybean rom goes u should try them all and see which u like. I personally prefer team dirts code name android. But there are several out just as good.

I am noticing that all the ROMs coming out recently do not have 4g WiMAX. Apparently Google dropped support for it? Is there a 4.3 or 4.4 ROM with 4g? What about stock?

No there most likely won't be. Google has dropped support for 4g wimax in any android build after 4.2.2.
The only way would be for somebody to port all the necessary files and code over. Which unfortunately is very difficult.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yes, stock ROMs have 4G... But those aren't 4.3. Let's just say it's not gonna happen cuz let's face it, there aren't many devs left on Wimax devices and that would take a LOT of work.

Probably because sprint is going to phase out wimax as it upgrades to LTE . I read an article stating it wasn't going to be around for much longer .
