Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum, and although I've had a look around, I've been unable to find any answers.
I am wondering where would I be able to obtain the stock Telstra firmware/ROM (Australia) for the Galaxy Nexus? And how would I go about returning it to its standard out-of-the-box state? My phone is currently flashed, but I need to return it for warranty purposes. Is this even possible?
Sorry if I'm just duplicating someone else's query,
Regards,
Jesse.

You should be ok just flashing the generic version (yakju). Instructions here. Otherwise, you would need to know what version ships on Telstra devices (e.g., yakjuxw, yakjuux, etc.) and you may be able to find that version floating around somewhere.

So I received my Arc S today in the UK, and it's a French model - I knew it'd be a European model of some sort when I ordered, so that's fine.
But even though I've set the language to English, I'm still finding a few things in French and it seems like my UK network can't detect what phone I have, and I'm unable to get a data connection.
Can someone tell me if it's possible to flash a generic stock or O2-UK stock rom to it please? I used to have a HTC Sensation and have experience rooting and custom rom'ing with that. My current build number is 4.0.2.A.0.42.
Do I root and flash the stock firmware from this page?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1204302
So to build number 4.0.A.2.368, to be clear. Will that give me all the generic/UK stock options instead of French video services, Canal+ and Jeux Gameloft?! I really don't need a custom rom, in fact I want it to be as much like I've just bought it from a UK supply as possible and don't even need rooting or the bootloader unlocked at the end of it if that can be avoided.
Your help is much appreciated in advance!

Thanks! It doesn't seem to have a generic UK firmware - only Central Europe 1/2/3 without listing the difference - but I've emailed Wotanserver to see if they can advise.
Is their method safe, do you know?
I am planning on buying the T-Mobile Note II on the day of release, and I was wondering if the currently-available rooting methods/tools are LIKELY to work on it, or whether I will have to wait for a new method to be devised for that specific branded model.
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place!

you should be able to install CWM and flash the SU zip and you'll be good to go. seems all of this stuff is somewhat universal to other variants. since the hardware is all the same (minus radio) it should all work just fine!
check out the Toolkit in the development section.
Hello,
I am looking to find the correct firmware for my Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos.
Phone was purchased online shipped from Hong Kong and it is manufactured in Vietnam. I live in UK. Phone was unlocked to all networks.
I do have a nand of stock rom but looking at recovery.log shows 4.2.2 for some reasons. I am 100% sure that, this particular backup was done when i was on stock 4.1.2.
I am really confused now. Any help?
Thank you !
I currently have a GT-i9195T, which is a Telstra (Australia) variant of the i9195. I'm trying to flash a new ROM (pref CyanogenMod) but I'm getting highly conflicting information on whether it is possible on this model. I've searched numerous threads, websites and posts but all the information has been a mess.
Basically I'm looking for confirmation that it is possible on this phone, and help as to how to flash a recovery, rom and anything else needed to get it to work.
I've been flashing ROM's since the first days of Android, so I'm not entirely new to this but I have no experience with Samsung phones (which appear to be a little more complicated).
Has anyone successfully flashed a T model variant?
Dear community,
I currently got a LG G3, it is not branded, and I live in Austria (it was also bought here). The former owner already flashed CyanogenMod on it. But I want to go back to stock and start from there. I am familiar with flashing etc, but I cannot find the Stock ROM in Austria (I assume there are specific ROMs for each country, almost like it is for the Galaxy S3?).
Thanks a lot in advance for any kind of help!
