Kool...I'll get one soon. Thanks
It supports up to 48GB

It support's 64GB micro sd card also from the looks of it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1336961
Also I believe I had also seen a thread where someone use an adapter that combined 2 32micro sd card and it read that fine as 64GB. I believe the limitation for sd card support should be in how much Android itself can support.

Don't think so, that would seriously affect the security of the NFC technology. + I would think the NFC card is somehow encrypted.
So the phone will never replace the card right?

That is correct, unless the maker of your card have an app which would do the necessary function.

I talked with HID about this very issue. They are beta testing this technology with Blackberry phones right now. Look on Youtube for HID Global Pilot Arizona State. You will see what they are doing. HID says that the "credential" is put intot he "secure" portion of the OS that is not accessible. Each phone will have to be tethered and written to from some kind of software. So to answer your question, it is coming. Keep your eyes and ears open!!
Thanks

Anyone have a UHS-Class 1 sd?

Just ordered a 32gb one for 24 on newegg. Wondering if anyone else has knows if our phone supports a uhs card, and how much of a difference it makes? I know a uhs can also be a class 10.

I know the card would work, just curious how much of a difference it makes. I have read many things online, and all seem positive. Not that the phone needs to perform any better.
Pretty much everyone I have seen is getting one of those. I think you just have to make sure you format it a certain way (don't remember right off the top of my head) to avoid any headaches. I ordered a 64gb one off amazon last night for 38 bucks.
I believe it's the data transfer speed and because you're mainly using it for music, apps and photos, it should be great. The higher class is for dslr photography.

I bought the 64GB one off Amazon a few weeks back. Came formatted exfat out of the box. I used a card reader to load it with movies and media. No problems so far in my device, HD videos record perfectly.

Been useing a Class 1U 64g since I got the Note2. Automatically recognised and formatted to exFat . Samy put a proprietary module in the kernel that allows this. Very handy and pepy speeds.

That's what I have

I installed one of these and it died. Did not recognise so hif format and now nothing will happen to the card. Tried in PC with exFat compatible card reader and card nof even seen....so beware.

oh right, thats oput doubts in my mind then now, unless someone else has got good advice??
This is work fine just read there are post in this section saying how you need to format, i think if the rom you have is JB then this will be supported as ICS did not support exfat.
Also if you want something better go in for the new Samsung ones they have speed of 90 mbps but not are available in all countries and are very very expensive but the best money can buy
I got 2 of these one still in the package and it work right out of the box

It works fine in my N8000. Just poked it in and works fine straight out of the packet. Checked it in the PC and it came as exFat.
I believe in the UK we did not get the update to read exFat and I should have read all posts before ruining the Micro SD.

Since marshmallow doesn't seem to be happening at all, is there any working marshmallow ROMs for this device yet? Also, my understanding is that marshmallow will work as some sort of RAID setup where the micro SD card and the internal memory are mixed into one so now micro SD card will actually allow to install an entire app on it?
Anything else I need to know to get this done? Thanks very much!

Anyone?

From my understanding of the Marshmallow timeline; I wouldn't give up hope yet. We could be getting sometime in the Spring.
Buying a 16gb device is the worst I've ever done. It's unusable after a few apps. I just wanna be able to consolidate micro SD card and internal memory into one already..

I've got the same model and haven't had any storage issues. But, I don't use many apps at all.
